Love or truth or both!

News events and comment.

●Syrian dictator, Assad may be the next tyrant to topple. All of the Arab Spring dictators were overthrown or killed by their own people. Assad will be next if he doesn't first of all attack Israel, which he has promised to do. This would initiate the war of Isaiah 17 in which Damascus "lies a ruined heap." The other possibility is that Assad is overthrown and Syria becomes another pawn in the Arab Spring game. The Damascus war would then follow. Either way it's coming!

●Russian and French warships have now moved into positions off Syria while US drones fly over the Iranian coast.

●The US has just deployed a large number of troops into Israel for joint operations relating to oil-wars or any other conflict- escalation. A US aircraft carrier will be joining the deployment offering air and missile support in conjunction with Israel.

●We're on the brink of major prophetic developments in the Middle East!

Love or truth or both!

1 John 3:18 "...Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and truth."

Why is this issue so important?

One of the major characteristics of the time period near the Lord's return is a huge, monumental, satanically driven attack on truth.

If you're standing on a railway line and your eyes are misty and there's a lot of noise around, how can you see or hear the train coming? Seeing and hearing and knowing the truth is so vital in the face of the coming onslaught.

If Satan can cast down, confuse or obscure the truth in your life, he has a major highway right into your heart.

If you go into the zone where nuclear radiation is all over the place, you need protective clothing. Who removed the sign saying "Protective clothing needed?" A great part of the church did. They say: "Don't worry about doctrine or truth, just love everybody right now." "All is clear in the world", they say. They're leading you to disaster in the name of love!

Today's church leaders fit into one of these categories: Stupid leaders, clever leaders or dangerous leaders.

Stupid leaders don't question things. They just accept and regurgitate what they've been taught. Like their flock, they have the pandemic called spiritual laziness. Cleaver leaders question things especially traditions. They measure everything against the word of God with the Spirit's leading. Dangerous leaders have questioned things, they know the truth, but they ignore it and go with the dictates of their people and the world's traditions.

Today many have become their own false gods. Their eyes are blinded to truth. They're wrapped up in their own deceived ideas, measuring themselves among themselves.

Today most Christians have been completely woven into the very fabric of the world and it's god Satan. They're blind to their own state.

There is only one narrow, valid way to glory and that is the way of the cross of Christ. The world and a fast growing number of churches today believe that God word is not valid and the wide road of tolerance is right. They contradict God and His word.

Proverbs 21:30 "There is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the Lord."

Please understand that I have no interest in proving myself right and others wrong. I have no interest in towing your church line either. I'm consumed with a passion for truth and to see you well-prepared to meet our Lord of glory without regret and loss of eternal reward.

The big tree:

Love is one of the fruits of the Spirit. Fruits grow on trees, so what is the tree? The tree is obviously the Spirit. Or we could rightly say; Spirit led truth. You can't exalt a fruit above the tree itself.

If you ignore or lessen the importance of the truth-tree and exalt the fruit of love above it, here's what happens: You can then join all things together in unity.

You see, truth divides and separates, between right and wrong. Truth says 2+2=4 not 5. Take away truth in the name of love and 2+2 = anything you want.

Truth is the great divider, so if you want overall religious unity, you must get rid of truth.

You absolutely can't have love and truth if you support the Multi-Faith movement today. You can only have love, with truth cast aside.

Love without truth is humanism and is ultimately the road to hell.

If you're going to have unity based on your love, you have to equally love Buddha, Mohamed, Jesus and all others. If you have unity based on truth, you can still love the people of other religions, but you're only united with those who love Yeshua /Jesus exclusively.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 "The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this reason God sent them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie."

2 Timothy 3:13 "Evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

2 Timothy 4:3-4 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers...and they will turn from the truth."

Love says: "God would not send anyone to hell, all religions are valid".

Truth says: "Unless you are born again you will not see the Kingdom of God".

Love and truth says: "You must be born again. Your growing love for our Messiah will then transform you into vessel of His love".

Love says: "God is love and therefore can't be full of wrath".

Truth says: "God is love therefore His wrath is revealed against all sin, hatred and un-holiness."

Romans 2:2 "We know that the judgement of God is according to truth..."

Romans 1:18-25 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness."

We're entering a time of immense spiritual conflict. Most people will not see it, because it is primarily being fought in the spiritual realm. It's consequences are and will become more and more evident as we go into this monumental time.

The battle is for the minds and hearts of people, but especially true believers.

2 Peter 3:3-4 "Knowing this first; that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts and saying where is the promise of His coming...all things will continue as they have."

Isaiah 59:14 "...For truth is fallen in the street and cannot enter."

2 Timothy 3:1-7 "In the last days perilous times will come...for men will be lovers of themselves...always learning and never coming to a knowledge of the truth."

A shock:

We're headed for catastrophic times. Regular readers will know that I've pointed out a few times approximately how many will die in the soon coming tribulation. Here's an even bigger shock, which you do well to take heed of: I know of a number of accounts of people who've had near death experiences or actually died and been brought back. Some of them speak of having encountered many spectacular and wonderful things. Some have remarked on the fact that only about 2% of the professing church made it! This is extra-biblical, so we don't put undue weight on it, but if it's only vaguely true...Yikes!!!!

In Matthew we have the well-known parable of the sower. Three out of four who heard the truth, turned it down! That's 75%. Of course this is a parable, but the point is that the larger majority are destined for hell.

The tragedy of our day is that billions of people are completely blind to their own state, but what is an even greater tragedy is that the church itself has largely cast aside truth in the name of love. It is being led by the nose-ring to the slaughter.

Galatians 5:7 "You ran well, who hindered you from obeying the truth."

Proverbs 1:25-26 "Because you disdained all My counsel (truth), and would have none of My reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes."

Today a great part of the church is in total darkness about what is coming, when, why and how. They're in ignorance of the state of their own hearts and completely in the dark about the spiritual war for their own eternal state. Why is this? It's the leaders that are to blame.

Hosea 4:9 "And it shall be like people like priest, so I will punish them for their ways, and reward them for their deeds."

The verse above is the terrible truth. The verse below is the exact opposite and the way of the diligent, with a heart after our Lord.

Jeremiah 4:19 "O my soul, my soul! I am pained in my very heart! My heart makes a noise to me; I cannot hold my peace, because you have heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war."

This verse is amazing. It was written thousands of years ago by Jeremiah. If ever there is a verse of scripture that grabs me personally...this is it! By the way, this verse is my heart's desire for you as well.

Of course love without truth would throw that verse out and say: "Just pray for money and be happy now."

I was chatting to a friend who I hadn't seen for some time a while ago. He's been a believer for many years. He goes to a normal ordinary spineless church. I was amazed that he didn't even know what the Arab Spring is.

The way ahead

The glorious church is the one that's moving ever forward with our Messiah in all truth and love

We need to "take heed that we're not deceived" That means we need to be vigilant. Actually the original word for "take heed" is an agricultural term. It means we need to pull out the weeds, water and nurture the plant well.

John 18:37 "...Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."

3 John 3-4 "For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy to hear that my children walk in the truth."

Here is the way of the word. This is the way to safety:

2 Peter 1:12 "Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things though you know them and are established in the present truth."

2 Timothy 2:15 "Be diligent to present yourselves approved unto God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

The above verses are a true delight. They speak of continuing in the word of truth and not giving up. They speak of the very opposite of today's pandemic - spiritual laziness.

Don't take these things lightly, we're in a world of spiritual conflict and we need to be prepared to stand against the onslaught and move forward with our Lord.

The biggest error and deception that's coming, is peace created by loving people. They'll try to bring peace to the world. In fact the world's "Roadmap to peace" for Israel is a perfect example. To bring peace, they say divide up the land of Israel. God's truth says that's the way to war! (Joel 3:2)

Finally

The fast growing apostasy of the church is directly related to false doctrine and the perversion of truth.

Truth will "out" in the end...always and absolutely. Don't you think it's kind of wise to line up with it now?

Truth without Spirit-led love creates the bondage of legalism.

Love without truth makes you a humanist with a low view of God and a high elevated view of yourself.

At the end of the day it must be Spirit-led love together with Spirit-led truth that will keep you safe and moving forward with our great Messiah, King, Lord and God.

Isaiah 13:6 "Wail for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty."

Turning curses to blessings

News events and comment.

●Iran: All nuclear installations including uranium enrichment now moved to underground facilities.

●The Palestinian Authority (PA) says that they will continue to purse United Nations recognition of a PA state. You can absolutely sure that this will continue until they get it. The failed bid at the last UN session, but that was the groundwork and first step in the process. The Bible shows that the land of Israel will be divided evoking the fury of God. (Joel 3)

Turning curses to blessings

This edition is based on the principles and brilliant exposition by Derek Prince many years ago on the subject. I've used my own experiences and related it to our prophetic time.

It is God's will and plan for all believers to walk in victory and success. Because we are essentially living in a spiritual environment, we are susceptible to spiritual conflict. There are varying degrees of the influence of evil spiritual powers in the lives of some believers.

This edition is aimed at the more severe issue of curses and how those affected can be completely set free and delivered into a life of blessing. 

Why are there curses:

The very curse fell upon Lucifer in pre-Adamic times, because of his rebellion to God. The second curse fell upon Adam in Eden. It went right through to nature itself. The world system itself is of its god Satan and is therefore also cursed to ultimate destruction. 

It's all because of unseen spiritual forces at work and in battle in the air. The eternal antagonism between God and the devil is the cause of all these things. God wants people saved and free and the devil wants the opposite, hence the conflict.

What are curses.

Curses result in many things going wrong in people's lives. Sometimes they end in , bi-polar manic depression, defeat,  torment, death, suicide and ultimately, hell. 

A curse is a bad or evil force that sticks to you like glue! It's source is Satan and his demons, but it can be induced by people and their own actions. God Himself has declared that if you get involved in certain things you will end up under a curse.

Curses manifest in many forms. Some are:

Continuing poor health, poverty, depression, defeat, despair, panic, confusion, strife, addictions, barrenness, being prone to failure, accidents, injury and the like. Curses leave you with a feeling of helplessness, inadequacy, feelings of worthlessness, and permanent pessimism. Addictions are most times the results of a curse.

Curses have a lingering nature. If these things mentioned above are temporary in nature, they are not necessarily a result of a curse. If you have a string of bad luck, that's called Murphy's law and is not the result of a curse. If you're in a hurry and you get stuck in traffic and them five lights turn red on you...hey welcome to the real world!

The verse below is part of a list of curses that come upon people for their rebellion to God, but note that the characteristic is in its enduring or repeating nature.

Deuteronomy 28:28-29 "The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart...you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually and no one shall save you."

A curse is often experienced as a feeling of helplessness. It's like a dark night with no dawn or like a dark cloud hanging permanently over the victim.

All the works of Satan are cursed, but this doesn't mean that a curse will suddenly jump out onto you. Sometimes simple repentance sets you free right away.

If you feel you may be under the domination of a curse here's one way of knowing:

Proverbs 26:2 "Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without a cause shall not alight."

The interesting thing about a swallow, is it always returns to the same nesting site. BUT if there is no cause in your life or lifestyle for the curse to nest in you, you're not under a curse.

You know that little guy "Pigpen" in the Peanuts comics? He's always seen with a swarm of flies around him looking like a dark cloud? A curse is like that. It's a frustrating dark cloud, an invisible shadow that won't leave you alone. 

Are you plagued with failure and things always going wrong? Do you battle besetting problems that you just can't get victory over? 

The causes of curses.

There are a great many causes, some are clear and obvious like witchcraft and others a lot more subtle. 

False religion, false gods and false doctrine are dangerous playgrounds of devils and demons that will bring you under their spell. Much worse though is direct Satanic, occult or witchcraft activity. These will always bring you under a curse, be absolutely sure of that.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 "There shall not be found among anyone who makes his son or daughter pass through the fire, or anyone who practices witchcraft or a soothsayer, or anyone who interprets omens or a sorcerer, or who conjures spells, or a medium or a spiritist or one who call up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord..."

In fact I know of some preachers who will never appoint someone into leadership who has previously been in direct Satanic activity or worship, simply because there is often something deeply lodged in that person that always draws them back.

The mixture of religions, or the interfaith movement is cursed. You can't get into heaven without the cross of Calvary applied into your life. If there were other legitimate ways to salvation, the cross and shed blood would have been meaningless.

John 14:6 "No one comes to the Father but by the Son."

There is a danger in Biblical error. The Bible itself talks of the "Spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

Error is a spirit! Now, of course every little wrong belief doesn't mean that you're now cursed. The end of error will almost always result in cursed religion.

Changing or interfering with the veracity of the Bible brings a curse.

Revelation 22:18 "I testify to everyone hearing the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book. (Deuteronomy 4:2)

You may not like to believe it, but poverty is a curse. Large scale poverty, pestilence disease and infant mortality can always be traced back to curses upon an entire group or nation that originates in witchcraft and illegitimate worship of false gods.

These nation-wide curses almost always become generational curses handed down from one generation to the next.

This is where the real call to mission work begins. There is no such thing as national deliverance. Each person has to be set free individually. There are a few wonderful stories of the Lord sweeping into an ethnic group and bringing salvation to masses. I've personally been involved with much mission work into areas dominated by witchcraft strongholds.

Isaiah 24:6 "Therefore a curse has devoured the earth..."

Sinful lifestyles.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? If anyone defiles (lit destroys) the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are."

There are so many activities today that the world calls normal, but are completely cursed from beginning to end.

The homosexual lifestyle is cursed.

Giving yourself hook line and sinker to the modern entertainment world will bring you into defeat. Computer games are Satanically charged and will often end in possession. (Yes, yes I know you don't agree...that's fine!)

The Jezebel spirit in the church and family is a cursed spirit. (See edition 67 for more)

2 Kings 9:34 "...Go now see to this accursed woman (Jezebel) and bury her for she was the kings daughter."

Rejecting your faith.

Hebrews 6:4 "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift , and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit and have tasted of the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away to renew them again to repentance the, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame." 

The above verse is shocking. It speaks of a deliberate rejection of faith and the fact that you can never get it back. obviously this is not related to backsliders, because they haven't yet fully rejected their faith.

The devil always comes in and fills the gap and these people are perpetually cursed. I know of a number who ended up in suicide! They are a great misery to be around.

Watch your words:

Throwing a tantrum after a bad day is no problem, but be careful of a lingering bad mood. Beware of an uncontrollable downward spiral of thoughts. This often leads to an overall disposition of pessimism. You then prepare your own doomed future with your mouth.

James 3:14-15 "If you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly sensual demonic."

Parents are often guilty of pronouncing failure over their own kids.

Here's a tragic example of a self inflicted curse that the Jews spoke over themselves when demanding the crucifixion of Jesus instead of Barabbas, which has been in existence for nearly 200 years.

Matthew 27:25 "The people answered and said, "His blood be upon us and on our children."

Anti-Semitism

Anti-Semitism is forever cursed. Replacement theology in all its forms is cursed. You may think your nice happy little preacher coming against Israel is doing God's will. He is doing the will of Satan himself and spewing curses over poor unsuspecting sheep!

Isaiah 34:5 "My sword shall be bathed in heaven; indeed it shall come down on Edom (Arabs) and on the people of My curse for judgement."

Genesis 12:3 "I will bless those who bless you (Israel) and curse those who curse you and in you all the families of the world will be blessed."

Legalism

Doing anything in the religious realm out of a spirit of legalism is cursed.

Galatians 3:10-13 "For as many as are under the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written "cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law." but that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God...Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law."

The end point of curses.

The end of a curses is the desire of Satan. It is to nullify your walk with our Lord. It is to make you irrelevant and useless. More than that though it is to rob you of your salvation and get you to join up with him and his team. At the end he will kill you and spit out the pieces.

The one and only answer

The cross and shed blood of our Lord is what separates the holy from the unholy. Nothing that hasn't been sanitised by the cross will survive.

Philippians 3:10 "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death."

The answer for a homosexual is not to become heterosexual. The answer for the murderer or thief is not to stop murdering and stealing. The answer is the cross of Christ. The answer is His death working in us. The answer is the power of His resurrection working in us to bring us to newness of life.

Once the cross has given us the power to overcome, we can then see clearly what must be done...and do it.

As we apply and embrace the cross of Christ, it kills us, but then comes the supernatural, miracle resurrection. It is that power that transforms and sets us free.

If necessary, go on a fast. Fasting has surprising power. It is an outward manifestation of an inner application of death.

James 4:7 "Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Some will never get free from curses.

Some people will forever be trapped by the devil. I present you now with some powerful verses of scripture as a deep warning from our Lord Himself. I'm not applying any interpretation. Just read them straight as they are and let them speak to your heart.

Proverbs 28:9 "One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination."

Proverbs 15:29 "The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous."

James 4:3 "You ask but you do not receive, because you ask amiss, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."

Job 35:12 "There they cry out, but He does not answer, because of the pride of evil men."

Psalm 66:18 "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear."

Jeremiah 11:10-11 "They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear My words...therefore thus says the Lord; Behold I will surely bring calamity on them, which they will not be able to escape; and though they call out to me I will not listen to them."

Micah 3:4 "Then they will cry to the Lord, but He will not hear them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, because they have been evil in their deeds."

The above verses are all easy to understand, yet it's the reason people stay trapped.

Arising into a life of blessing.

A curse leaves you stranded in a dry, lifeless desert with a feeling of enduring helplessness. When deliverance comes along it's like a metamorphosis into a beautiful new abundant life as you fly above the problems below.

This is what must be done: Identify any curses with the help of our Lord in prayer.

●Repent of any and all known sin that may have been involved in the curse being generated.

●Renounce evil, sin or lifestyles that conflict with God's word.

●Proclaim your freedom.

●Have communion. Even if this is on your own or with one or two people. As you do so make your proclamations of victory.

●To fully break free. you may have to go even further and get rid of contact, defiled objects. Burn anything that is of satanic origin.

Isaiah 54:17 "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me."

Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life..."

Deuteronomy 23:5 "The Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into blessing for you, because the Lord loves you."

Luke 10:19-20 "Behold I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions (demons) and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you...do not rejoice that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."

Sustaining and keeping your deliverance.

Don't go back! If you go back into cursed activity, beware your end may be seven times worse than before. I've personally seen just this. In fact I've seen a number of people whom I knew go all the way back right into suicide! 

Matthew 12:43-45 "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man he goes through dry places seeking rest and finds none. Then he says, "I will return to my house from which I came and when he comes he finds it empty, swept and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself and they enter and dwell there and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation."

These days there's a lot of scepticism about positive confession, because it's been greatly misused, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater! There is a lot of truth in it.

As we've seen your own mouth has potential to pave your way into curses. Your own confession, backed by the authority of God will lead you to blessing and victory. 

Give thanks. In many languages the word for thanks is the same word for grace. Thankfulness is closely associated with the grace of God. A thankful person is always a pleasure to be around. Thankfulness is giving. It is directed out away from self. A self-centred person is not thankful and has no grace upon him.

Give thanks in all things, even before your deliverance comes alone.

The end point of a cursed life is death and defeat. The end point of blessing is abundant life and eternal reward...pick your choice! 

In fact at the end of the day even the earth will be reeased from the curse upon it.

Romans 8:19-21 "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility (curse) ...The creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."

Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy (the whole book of Revelation) and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near."

Ephesians 1:3 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realm with every spiritual blessing in Christ."

Right and wrong interpretation and the consequences.

News events and comment.

●Syria and Iran may be at war with Israel by mid January. (Information picked up by Debka Files)

●Many intelligence sources reveal war with Israel, Iran and Syria is on the verge. Many nations are preparing now.

●At time of writing unsubstantiated reports are doing the rounds with various military leaders the Iran is due to be hit with an Electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) device within days. This can be directed from space. It cause no damage, but takes out all airborne communication.

●As we head for 2012 I just want to add that the media frenzy around the Mayan calendar is hogwash. Why would the true and living God give such knowledge to a demon possessed people who God allowed to be completely destroyed because of their witchcraft? 2012 is going to be a climactic year as the birth pangs of the soon coming seven year tribulation intensify. These things are all in God's word.

Right and wrong interpretation and the consequences

Why interpretation is so important.

The results of correct interpretation of scripture, and prophecy in particular, has wonderful results in your life. The results and effects of incorrect interpretation are deadly and monumental to say the least.

How many times have you heard people say, "Oh this Bible stuff is all open to interpretation"? I've heard that more times than I can remember.

Incorrect interpretation of the scripture can never ever produce correct living and is ultimately the road to destruction.

Incorrect interpretation is the root of all division, denominationalism and personal defeat.

Correct interpretation produces Godly results of security and stability as well as Godly fruit in our lives. It is the way to victory.

This is no small issue. It's Satan's primary playground. If he can get you believing the wrong things, he's got a major foothold in your life. Do not take these things lightly.

Our Lord has delivered a huge amount of promises to His family, in the Bible. He's given us the author of Bible, the Holy Spirit, to dwell in our hearts and lead us into all truth, if we meet the conditions.

He's also issued a huge amount of warnings to the world in His word.

The first deadly incorrect interpretation occurred in Eden. It's goal back then was the same as it is today and that is to destroy God's ways and plans.

My friends we are heading into some wild storms on every front. You don't have to believe it but how much better it is to be ready and prepared. If you know, what's coming, when, why and how, you'll be able to help many other people as they stumble in the storms.

There are so many wrecked lives out there. So many people started well and got shipwrecked along the way. So many don't even know how far they've gone astray because they've long since left our Lord and His absolute truth. Their new standard is the variable values of the world.

Psalm 36:9 "In your light we see light." In the world's light we see exactly what Satan wants us to see.

2 Peter 3:3 "Knowing this, that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts , and saying where is the promise of His coming...all things will continue as they have."

According to this verse above, the heart of the scoffer is lust. The modern homosexual movement is a classic example of people who've cast down the word so that pure lust can thrive. Of course if you want to live in ungodliness you won't want the intervention of the coming of the Lord, would you?

Biblical interpretation

Not surprisingly a spiritual conflict is on the go around these issues. Way back shortly after the resurrection there were two big church conferences -The Alexandra Council and the Byzantine Council. One insisted on the literal use of the Bible and the other insisted on the use of variable methods. One was of God and one of the devil. Today the same conflict is still on the go.

Do you want to follow our Lord? Do you want to be a disciple of His? Good, these are the conditions.

Matthew 16:24 "Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me."

Taking up you cross and denying self are conditions for discipleship in general, but they are most certainly the prime conditions for correct interpretation. The problem we all face is that we we're born rebels and the world system and it's ways have been so ingrained in us that we've been blinded in many areas.

I've said many times that Satan's big anchor in our lives is the world the flesh (self) and the demonic. The answer is the cross! So, only as we take up our cross do we really live and see things God's way.

Luke 8:18 "Take heed how you hear, for whoever has, to him will be given more, and to him who does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken away."

Matthew 24:4 "Take heed that no one deceives you."

Isaiah 55:8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord."

Note that in the above verses that we're cautioned by our Lord on this issue. Don't think you can just drift along in your Christianity! There are many requirements needed.

The biggest and most important things that's needed is to deny self, and cast down our own thoughts, ideas, plans and everything we've picked up that is of the world.

There are two main schools of interpretation. There are others but they're all founded in these two. These are the allegorical and the literal method. One is of God and one is of the devil and never the twain shall meet.

The allegorical method..

This is the way of the devil himself.

The purpose of the allegorical method is actually not to interpret scripture, but to pervert it and give it whatever meaning the interpreter wants. This method is inconsistent. Those who adhere to it chop and change from literal to allegorical as it suits them.

The basic authority ceases to be to the God of the Bible, but the philosophy and mind of the interpreter.

This method exalts the interpreter. It raises him up above God making himself the supreme god. The allegorical method appeals to man's self effort and pride! Job 41:34 "He (Satan) is king over all the children of pride."

Of course there are many allegories in the Bible.

The big thing with interpretation of scripture is that you should seek to apply common sense and only apply allegory when it's obvious.

Some people use allegory for everything and put no limit to it. This leaves you in a world of multitudes of opinions and one big mess up.

Beware: The allegorical method is a slippery slope to hell. Once you open the door to error it breeds and feeds and grows...that's the nature of the real beast.

Error is the early stage of deception, which is a stronghold of monumental proportions. Once you get into fully fledge deception,  you're in Satan's prison. You can look out but you can't get out until real deliverance comes along. Truth is veiled to you.

Isaiah 29:13 "In as much as these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honour Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me and their fear towards Me is taught by the commandments of men."

Jeremiah 17:5 "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord."

Mark 7:7 "In vain they worship Me, teaching as commandments the traditions of men."

The above three verses have one thing in common. They all identify the source of the problem as the heart of man.

Its only as we turn our focus from the variable values and opinions of man to the living God do we see things correctly.

The literal method of interpretation:

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."

The literal method gives to each word the exact basic meaning of normal language. It is also called the grammatical-historical method.

The method of interpretation at the time of Christ was undoubtedly literal. It was only when Satan chose to bring confusion into the scriptures that the troubles and divisions started.

Old Testament prophecies that were fulfilled in Old Testament times were fulfilled exactly and literally, with not one exception. Then we come to the prophecies of the Old Testament which were fulfilled in the New, and again we see the same pattern of fulfilment. For example all the prophecies of the coming Messiah in the Old Testament were fulfilled exactly and literally, with not one miss. Some of these were greatly detailed, like "He would be born in Bethlehem". Then we come to the prophecies of both the Old and New Testaments, relating to the second coming and this time period we are in now, and again we see exact literal fulfilment. For example, prophecy declares that Israel would become a nation again and Jerusalem would again be restored to the Jews. Both of these were fulfilled exactly in our time.

Here is the big question. If this is the past pattern of prophetic fulfilment, why is it suddenly now going to shift to the allegorical method where all is variable and open to interpretation? Obviously it is going to continue in the same literal way!

The past pattern of fulfilment is an extremely powerful case for the literal method. Ignore it at your peril!

There is no problem with the literal method accommodating certain aspects of allegory, figures of speech or symbols. All that is required is some common sense. For example the coming antichrist is also described as a beast.  Yes he will soon arrive on the world stage literally as a person, but he will have many characteristics of a wild beast. He will be a real literal antichrist and won't be a real literal beast.

There is also no problem with prophecy having a double reference. There are many personal lessons to be learnt from prophetic events, but this does not invalidate the primary aspect, which is the literal event itself.

If the surface reading of a prophecy is plain and clear it requires no allegorical interpretation...seek nothing extra. Keep it plain and simple.

The Bible says that "Our God is not a God of confusion." It also says that "Satan is the god of confusion" So if you're confused about the subject you know who to blame!

The results of correct interpretation:

The first and most important result is pure, true doctrine.

Hebrews 6:1-2 "Let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith towards God, and of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection from the dead and of eternal judgement."

Note that our journey to perfection involves doctrine! It even involves the much-maligned doctrine of eternal judgement!

2 John 10-11 "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds."

The above verses show how important doctrine is.

Today the great chant of the devil is: "Don't worry about doctrine, it divides" Of course it divides. It divides between those who love it and those who don't. You can't have 2+2=4 and 2+2=5!

Correct interpretation will lead you into all truth and all truth is a place of rest peace and untold glory!

John 16:13 "When He the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth...and show you things to come."

The results of correct interpretation will always be seen in reality. For example all the coming troubles now relating to Israel and the Arab world are prophesied in the Bible. We can see it all unfolding in reality.

If you see all of these things and still hold to the allegorical method, you really are a very clever idiot.

The results of bad interpretation

1 Corinthians 14:8 "For if a trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare himself for battle."

Bad interpretation always leads to bad living. In many instances that is greatly magnified and bad interpretation is actually the cause of war, hatred and murder on a massive scale.

Today we have replacement theology as the foundation of many churches. This will lead to another Holocaust! It will be spearheaded by a large part of the church. They are already laying the groundwork and turning a blind eye to the modern Hitler...Iran's Ahmadinejad.

Many traditional church denominations and belief systems have their roots in the beliefs of their church fathers. For example, the Calvinists and all their offshoots like the reformed churches, hero worship John Calvin. They elevate his teachings.

They want you to see the world through their eyes. They want you to see things their way and if you argue, they quote the founders of their religion.

But they're not going back far enough. Poisonous error and deception had already been mixed into the church in huge proportions long before the so-called reformers came along.

We need to go back much further, right to the early church days. The first church was gloriously successful. It could not be defeated by the murdering Roman emperors. Then Satan came along with his ace trump card, which was to defeat the church by mixing in error, allegory and paganism.

That created the dark ages. Can you see how important correct interpretation of truth is?

Incorrect interpretation can't sit with truth

I've read and heard so much rubbish on Bible interpretation. "Tools for Bible interpretation." How to interpret the Bible" and many others are all based on church doctrine and a view clouded in what some church father said.

Way back in the early 80s I saw Keith Green of Last Days Ministries do a series titled "What's wrong with the gospel" It's two hours on the "added parts and two hours on "what's been removed." What an eye opener that was. Just the title alone speaks volumes. It's all about how self interest has divided the church by adding, removing or emphasising what they want.

We're in a spiritually charged environment and Satan is behind the battle. He has tried his hardest, and succeeded in rendering much of the church powerless, by bringing in all manner of error, deception and evil.

Constantine was the one who brought in the mixture of Babylonian traditions into the church to make it more palatable to the masses of the day. Today nothing has changed. The god of this world has deep roots in the church.

You can't sanitise the world, you can only "come out of it" Yes we are in it, but we must come out of its spirit. For example, you can't sanitise Christmas, Easter and the other pagan traditions of Satan's Babylon, adopted by the church. You can only come out of it. If you think these traditions are harmless how do you deal with these verses?

Deuteronomy 12:2-4 " You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations which you shall dispossess, served their gods...You shall not worship the Lord your God with such things."

Jeremiah 10:2-4 "Do not learn the way of the Gentiles (lit pagans)...For the customs of the peoples are vanity; For one cuts a tree from a forest...they decorate it with silver and gold, fasten it to the floor..."

Do you know why the Sabbath was changed by the Catholics and why the pagan feasts of Christmas, Easter and others were introduced? They were all done to keep the Jews out of the Catholic church. If the Catholics preached the new birth (which they don't) then this means that Jews were being kept from salvation. That is spiritual murder. Of course let's not forget that the Catholics also physically murdered more Jews than anyone in history.

The Catholics gave birth to replacement theology. It was born in the allegorical interpretation of all the verses in the Bible relating to Israel and the Jews. This evil theology essentially replaces Israel with the church. It holds to the view that God has finished with the Israel, the Jew and Jerusalem and all verses dealing with them must be replaced with the church.

Constantine and then the Catholics added a whole lot of paganism to the church. They removed all the convocations of truth. They removed the Feasts of the Lord, changed the Sabbath, Passover and many other such things that God had set in the early church.

What the Catholics did was remove the Bible itself from the laity. It was banned and removed from public use. In fact today very few Catholics own their own Bible.

The leadership enforced their own allegorical interpretation of the Bible on the laity. This the Bible calls the doctrine of  Laodicea, which "God hates". The separation of the clergy above the laity in dress, title and class is a hated doctrine which allows all manner of evil to come in. It allows private interpretation by the clergy, which they then spit out over their flock.

2 Peter 1:20 "Knowing this, that no prophecy of scripture is of any private (personal) interpretation."

The leaders of the Catholic, Anglican and many other churches insist on being called "father", while the Bible declares; "Call no man father" They do this to elevate themselves and separate themselves above the laity, giving themselves importance. They are poisonous vipers!

The founders of the Catholic church were responsible for giving it an entirely new character, based on their evil allegorical methods of interpretation. They split true Biblical Christianity from the Hebraic nature of the early church.

There is one very easy quick way to know if prophecy is being interpreted correctly. If so, it will correctly place and deal with the land of Israel, Jerusalem and the Jewish people and it will be at odds with the world and it's ways.

***Please take note of this shocking but powerful verse of scripture:

Jeremiah 23:22 "If they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from their evil doings." Verse 27 goes on to say that "they try to make My people forget My name."

***What an amazing verse that is. Can you see the gravity of it. This verse is actually an incredible indictment on both Catholics and Protestants who have robbed the Jew of salvation by turning the church into some worldly club, foreign to the true Hebraic expression faith. This verse is a damning prophecy of replacement theology. It speaks of those who have failed to see God's prophetic word relating to the Jews.

Pastor, very reverend and bishop reading this, I tell you that you that you hate God and His word. God says do keep the Feasts of the Lord and not to learn the way of the pagans. You do the opposite of both and you teach this to your flock! You see, you can say that you love the Lord, but it's what you do that counts!

The only way you can celebrate Christmas, Easter and the like is by casting down or ignoring God's word.

Do you know what true discipleship is? Here is what the Bible says:

Matthew 28:19-20 "Go and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you..." This is a command to teach all things that "I" have commanded you, and not Calvin, Wesley or Luther or all the divided church fathers.

Do you know why the unsaved world loves Christmas, Easter and other traditions? Do you know why the world will not celebrate the Feasts, Passover and the Biblical convocations? It because the world loves its own. All that is born of Satan is glorified by the world. Biblical truth is rejected by the world.

Finally.

Jeremiah 20:9 ...But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back and I could not."

True pure interpretation produces a world of security, and real staggering beauty and great glory. Personally, I'm a passionate lover of nature, environment and all things beautiful. But I see much greater wonders coming soon. It's all in the Bible plain to see.

Pure truth, undefiled is a wonderful road of promise leading to great peace. When you surrender and submit in brokenness and humility to our great exalted Messiah, you are actually on the road to real life-giving transforming,  freedom and liberty!

On the other hand, incorrect, faulty interpretation releases the spirit of evil, into you. It builds up your pride and blinds you to the truth. It makes you a true child of the world and it's doomed god Satan.

2 Peter 1:19 "We also have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts."

The earlier verses speak about seeing with your eye and hearing with your ear. So now Peter says that there is something even "more sure" than seeing and hearing. It is this recognising that the prophetic word is the most sure thing. The morning star is the planet Venus and it rises in the darkest part of the night indicating that the day is about to dawn. You can see clearly once the day has dawned.

Is the prophetic word the "most sure thing" in your life? If it is, the "morning star has arisen in your heart" and you're set to see many things clearly.

When you surrender to our Lord in all your ways, you can say 'yes' and 'amen' to all of His word. If there are things difficult to understand, you would not dare be so arrogant to rise above God and come up with your own private interpretation.

At the end of the day, that which is of God has Godly (Biblical) results. How simple is that?

1Peter 4:7 "The end of all things at hand, be watchful"

Isaiah 55:6 "Seek the Lord while He may found, call upon Him while He is near."

Proverbs 8:17 "When you seek Me diligently, you will find Me".

Proverbs 1:28-29 "They will seek Me dilligently but they will not find Me, because they hated knowledge (lit. of God) and did not choose the fear of the Lord."

Heaven or hell:

It really is important how you see things. Your spiritual sight must be purified and surrendered to the living God. If not, you may see, but you are blind. What a shame to see things through the eyes of the world later to be shocked when you stnad before God and discover that He was standing by ready to really open your eyes.

The way you see things works out in what you do. Don't for one minute think that because you have some sort of nominal belief in a God that you're okay! Have your hands been the world's workers or have they been instruments in God's hands?

The world, it's end and new beginning

News events and comment.

●Turkey says Syria is at the 'point of no return' and could drag the whole region into conflict.

●Netanyahu warns: "Arab Spring is pushing the Middle East backwards."

●Russia's PM, Medvedev is at war with the missile defence systems of the US and Israel! "Russia beating the war drums" says the Debka Files. Medvedev announces measures to ensure that they can destroy the command and control systems of the US anti-missile defence systems in Europe. Those systems are also linked to Israel's defence systems.

●The "Occupy Wall Street" movement reveals it's true colours. The Miami, US version says" Israel should be nuked" and the "Jews should go back to the ovens." Anti-Semitic chants have occurred in numerous other "Occupy" events

●Egypt: At the Muslim Brotherhood rally on Friday 25th November Chants are heard. " One day we will kill all Jews."

●Iranian General, Yadollah Javano threatens: " We can strike anywhere in Israel".

●Iran's parliament votes to downgrade Britain .Then parliament erupts with chants "Death to Britain."

●German Die Welt says North Korea is supplying Syria with nuclear technology.

●Syria says that new sanctions imposed on it are a "declaration of economic war." As the Arab-led sanctions against Syria were announced Russia sent a new shipment of missiles to Damascus. Russia opposes sanctions against Syria.

The image above is particularly interesting to me. On the right is a giant image printed onto fabric of Gaddafi. It was rolled out at a rally while he was still in power. On the left is Syria's Assad surrounded by his followers at a recent rally.

Only a megalomanic psychopath would see himself as so big and important. Assad is a more dangerous psychopath than Gaddafi was, because he is secretive, quiet and calculating, while Gaddafi was an in-your-face madman. Iran's Ahmadinejad (picture with nuclear symbol) is also deeply psychologically disturbed. He is another classic megalomanic psychopath. Mega means big and the definition of a psychopath is one who is emotionless in his pursuit of domination and control. Dangerous people!

A new Hitler is emerging. Iran's Ahmadinejad  will have allies with him!

The world, it's end and new beginning

What is the world?

It amazes me how little of this subject is known or recognised by the modern professing church. Modern churchianity just isn't on the cutting edge of Biblical truth. They continuously spit out the same traditional stuff. Of course the Bible says that the "lukewarm church" will be spat out by God.

The world is not the earth.

The world was made by man while the earth was made by God.

The two original words used in the Bible are completely different. The word for world means the socio / political / economic order. We could say that the earth is dressed with the world. The word for earth means the physical earth including the land, sea, mountains etc.

Some say the world will never end. They are right and wrong. This current world order will end soon and a new one is coming under the government of our Lord and Messiah.

The nature and characteristics of the world:

1 John 5:19 "The whole world lies under the power of the wicked one."

2 Corinthians 4:4..."whose minds the god of this world has blinded..."

Revelation 12:9 "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world."

1 John 2:15 "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

John 15:18-19 "If the world hates you, you know that the world hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own

James 4:4 "Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God."

John 12:25 "He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life."

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

1 Corinthians 3:19 "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God..."

1 Corinthians 2:12 "Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God..."

Colossians 3:2 "Set your mind on things above, not on things of the earth."

1 John 5:4 "Whoever is born of God overcomes the world."

Lets string together the main points from these verses:

Satan is the world's deceiving god. It's wisdom is foolishness. The world loves its own. Believers are in the world but not of it or it's spirit.

Perhaps the most amazing verse above is 1 John 5:4 In the original it implies direction. That is most important. This is one of the prime ways and methods to evaluate your own spiritual life and that of others (not from a condemning point of view but from a pure Biblical point of view. "A tree is know by its fruit.")

Can you see how powerful that verse is especially in today's lukewarm spiritual climate? If you are truly born of the Spirit of the living God, you will be overcoming the world and its ways!!! If you are no different to the world and you love its ways, you are not born a again! Don't argue with me and send me emails. Argue with God. That is what He said plain and clear!

Today most Christians are completely one with the world. They're nicely comfortable within its traditions, entertainment and all its ways. They are no different to the world except for a few words that they say.

At a critical time like this many don't know what real genuine repentance is or means in relation to the world. Many churches don't preach or teach or even touch on this subject. Their churches are no better than a Mickey Mouse circus.

The world loves its own and inspires them through the media, traditions, entertainment and the like. (Please see Edition 23 titled "The power of the media" for more on this)

Very few Christians realise that they are slaves of the world and it's god, Satan.

Now of course we are in the world, but we are not to be of its spirit. There must always be a tension between you and the things of the world.

When we are moving in the right direction we will know it deep within our hearts We will have that still small voice guiding us and leading us. We will be filled with the fruits of the Spirit.

The ways of the world are a cheap substitute for the fruits of the Spirit of the living God.

Will the world end?

The earth will not end, but the world will soon come to a bitter, bitter, terrible, terrifying, horror-filled end.

Because the world is the product of Satan it will end in judgement. God's new world will be one of perfection, purity, holiness, glory, and restored creation.

You may be thinking "I thought the Bible says that God loves the world" It says no such thing. The Bible says God so loved the world THAT He sent His Son to save whosoever would believe on Him out of the world. It goes on to say that he that doesn't believe is already condemned with the world!

"How can two walk together unless they are agreed?" says the Bible. The answer is they can't! Satan's world and God's world will never agree.

Only that which has gone through the purifying work of the cross of Calvary is in agreement with God and will endure.

The present evil world will end before many think. It's time is running out fast.

Almost every Bible believing preacher these days is unanimous on the fact that we are in the very latter part of the latter times for this world. We can't know the time exactly but we can know a great amount about the season.

You may not believe all these things, but I tell you, you are a fool if you don't prepare your heart and mind for the soon coming of our Lord.

How will the world end?

The world is essentially a product of its evil god, Satan. It must be judged and destroyed. The final destruction of all evil, demons, fallen angles, Satan himself and all the unsaved, is part of God's love, as He purifies the universe for an eternity of holiness.

The creation of hell is all part of greater love. The original word 'Agapao', means to 'love with social and moral implications'. It's much like the traffic cop dishing out speeding fines. That's part of the creation of a safer world. It's love in action towards the law abiding drivers and citizens. (That reminds me, I must go and pay my speeding fine.)

We are very close to the most dramatic events in all time. The final catastrophic climax of the ages will be played out, culminating in  the seven-year tribulation period. This will be ended by the Second Coming of our Lord. At this time every remaining unsaved person on this earth will be cast out to hell.

The stage for the climax of the ages will be the Middle East and Israel in particular, but the whole world will be involved.

Zechariah 14:2 "For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, the houses rifled and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city."

Zechariah 12:2-3 "Behold I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem and it will happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all people; and all who would heave it away will be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it."

Joel 3:2 "I will also gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land."

The above three verses reveal prophetically that all nations will come against Israel and in fact all nations will come against God and His plan.

This is the big stage where the world will see its end. It will all happen in the final seven year tribulation period.

This seven year period will not only involve the world in military conflict, but it will also see the most incredible judgements of God on the world. This will include the fury of nature unleashed like never before as well as huge purely supernatural events.

There are many believers who have no idea, not the foggiest idea of what the tribulation period will be like. The judgements of God will run through the full seven years, but intensifying in the second half.

I really hope and pray that those who believe in a post tribulation rapture do not get what they want! The tribulation will be pure terror on earth.

You see, this will be an event incomparable to any that the world has seen.

Let's try and put things in context.

The world was shocked at the Nazi Holocaust, where some six million Jews died. The world was shocked at the 2004 Tsunami which killed 250,000 people.

How many will die in the tribulation?

The first thing that we must know is that although there will be numbers killed that are too hard to fathom, it will at the same time be the metamorphosis of the Jewish people at large. This will be when the Valley of Dry Bones miraculously comes to life. Ezekiel 37:11 "These bones are the whole house of Israel."

This will come as a huge shock to many. Others will simply refuse to believe it and return their heads to the sand.

Please don't send me emails saying that this is not love or you don't agree with the Bible numbers. Rather send your emails to God and let Him speak to you.

It's obviously impossible to know the exact numbers, but the Bible gives us many insights into this nightmare to end all nightmares.

The numbers will also be dependent on whether there is a pre-tribulation rapture or not. If there is a pre-trib rapture (as I believe) a huge number of people will be gone before the tribulation. Again it's impossible to know the exact number.

Let's use the Bible numbers and figures.

Isaiah 24:6 "Therefore a curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned and few men are left."

Jeremiah 25:33 "In that day the slain of the Lord will be from one end of the earth to the other. They shall not be lamented or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground."

Revelation 6:8 "I looked and behold a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him and power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with hunger, with death and by the beasts of the earth."

Revelation 9:15 "So the four angels who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill one third of mankind."

Zechariah 13:8-9 "And it shall come to pass in all the land, says the Lord that two thirds in it shall be curt off and die., but one third shall be left in it. I will bring the one third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined and test them as gold is tested.. They will call on My name and I will answer them. I will say 'This is My people'; and each one will say, 'The Lord is my God.'"

The above verses use one quarter, one third and two thirds. The two thirds of Zechariah applies to the land of Israel, where the campaign of Armageddon will take place. The others most certainly relate to the whole world.

Of course it's impossible to know the exact numbers, but what we can see is that the sort of numbers place these events as the worst in world history by a long shot (with the exception of the flood of Noah)

Many rightly say that the six million killed in the Holocaust was a huge number or the 230,000 killed in the 2004 Tsunami was a huge amount.

Today we have 7 billion people on earth. The verses above show that about two thirds will die in the tribulation. That would be about 4 billion people.

This equates to 2.5 million a day who will die. Just to put this in context, in the Holocaust less than a thousand a day died.

It's important to understand that these huge numbers will be killed by the "sword" which relates to war in general, and by the biggest famines the world has ever seen and by pestilence or perhaps demonically inspired beasts. This will be a time of incredible supernatural activity. This is the time culminating in the wrath of God, the wrath of Satan, the wrath of man and the wrath of nature.

Isaiah 12:6-9 " Wail for the Day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty, therefore all hands will be limp, every man's heart will melt and they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them...their faces will be like flames. Behold the day of the Lords comes, cruel with both wrath and fierce anger to lay the land desolate and He will destroy its sinners from it."

The above speaks of untold horror. (Please read the previous edition titled "The Lamb and the Lion of God.")

The entire prophecy of Ezekiel's dry bones (Ezekiel 37) coming to life is fulfilled in the tribulation period. We are seeing forerunners now, but the main thing is still ahead of us.

That incredible prophecy shows how the Jewish people at large come to spiritual life and salvation. That's the ultimate slap in the face for the devil.

When will the world end?

We don't for sure, but we do know that we are in the season. There are very few true Bible believing teachers who don't believe this. We have almost unanimous agreement that we are in the season.

In numerous previous editions I've pointed out that the tribulation will begin on a feast a trumpets. 2014 is the most likely, but we can't be 100% sure.

Looking at the very many pieces of the jig-saw puzzle all falling into place at great speed, it most certainly is the season!

The world's new beginning

The word dispensation, which is used nine times in the New Testament is the original word "Oiknomia" from which the word 'economy' is derived. It means that God worked in different ways at different times with man, just like different economies work in different ways.

The Millennium kingdom is the next dispensation. It is the time of our Lord's Kingly rule on this earth. This is the true new world. It will be here soon. The Second Coming of our Lord wraps up the seven-year tribulation period and brings in this magnificent new world.

Nature itself will be "released from the bondage of corruption" or the Adamic curse. It will be changed supernaturally in a flash and see a perfect creation in place for a thousand years.

The Bible gives so many wonderful descriptions of the coming new world scattered all around. Some of these go into detail and some just paint a brief picture. Either way, what is coming is beyond imagination. Those that miss out, because they are unsaved, will no doubt have a knowledge of this spectacular glory, but from the eternal regret of hell.

If you are unsaved and reading this now, I strongly encourage you, plead with you, not to gamble with your eternal destiny. You need to repent and be born of the Spirit of the living God now! Don't wait, don't delay, you don't know when you will step into eternity.

Very few people have any concept of the greatness of God. The world has dimmed their eyes and replaced God's glory, filling their heads with the cow dung of Hollywood, celebrity and other creations of devils and demons.

The coming glory is so great it is beyond imagination. It is so pure, clean and wonderful that it fills me with excitement just thinking about it. (If you want to be shocked please read edition 96 tilted "Holiness")

The new world in the Millennium will have only one religion. There will be no Methodists, Anglicans, Catholics and the like. By this time all false religions and counterfeits will have been cast into hell. There will be no unbelievers on the earth. Those who were saved in the tribulation will continue on in their bodies, but with longevity restored. Those who were saved before the tribulation will be in glorified supernatural bodies.

The religion of the Millennium will be centred around the worship of our Messiah with no divisions.

Finally.

As we look at the current world events we see the stage being set with the actors waiting in the wings.

The world is going like a train, firmly on track towards it's meeting with doom.

Why hang on to what is doomed?

You know, oddly, people say its not love to speak about these things. The exact opposite is the truth. It is pure hatred not to warn someone that the bridge just down the track is missing...not so!

The good news is that our great King and Messiah has provided the answer and given to us real peace.

Jeremiah 7:23 "This is what I commanded them saying, 'Obey My voice and I will be your God, and you shall be My people and walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you."

Heaven or hell:

Military man of the Israeli Defence Force do you know who you are praying to and will He hear you? There's good news and bad! The good news is that our Messiah will hear the cries of the Jewish people as they respond to Him. The bad news is that if you don't know that His name is Yeshua (Jesus) He will not hear you ever!

Young Palestinian kid, you are being used as a pawn. You are being brought up to hate the people that God will use to bring destruction on the Arab world. But the good news is that you can change sides easily. You need to be born again. Do you know that a large number of Arabs will be saved in the soon coming tribulation? Will you be one of them?
