Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
Signs of numerous times:
Biblical signs are designed to draw people in to the kingdom of God and to our grand Messiah. They are not designed to promote the pomp of pastors and teachers. Biblical signs will get the attention of some and others will never respond or believe.
Far too many teachers use signs which are not true signs to elevate themselves.
Signs do not take the place of the Holy Spirit who is the primary agent in these things.
True biblical signs can be very exciting indeed.
But don’t go overboard looking for signs everywhere. Your faith is much more important.
There are signs relating to almost every subject of the Bible:
There are numerous signs of the times we are in now. There are signs of The Lord’s coming, signs of the coming tribulation, signs of the veracity of the Bible itself, and of false prophets, teachers and deception. There are examples of erroneous signs, and signs of biblical truth. We see signs of the antichrist arising and many signs of anti-Semitism and replacement theology in the world and the church.
They are all there if you honestly look for them, led by the Spirit. Signs are really for those who want to see! If you genuinely encounter the Spirit of God, He will firstly cause you to repent. If you really see the true signs, you will repent.
Signs presented as from the Lord, which fail, are in themselves a sign - a sign of a false teacher. These failed signs instead of causing repentance cause mocking, scoffing doubt, discouragement, disbelief and falling away! (Deuteronomy 18:21-22, Jeremiah 23:30-32)
Great discernment is needed in these things, it’s no small issue!
Micah 3:6-7 (Amp) “It shall be night to you and you shall have no vision, yes it shall be dark without divination (comprehension) and the sun shall go down on the false prophets...and the seers shall be put to shame...for there is no answer from the Lord.”
Jeremiah 14:14 “The Lord said to me, ‘The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I have not sent them...”
Signs and Israel:
Isaiah 8:18 “...We are for signs and wonders in Israel, from the Lord.”
The greatest sign is Israel’s journey to salvation, and yet most can’t see it at all! They think it’s just the normal progression of history.
We are now, even within the next few weeks, at the point where signs for Israel are about to break and come into play. (1 Corinthians 1:22)
Of course regular readers know just how it will work out in the end:
Isaiah 66:19 “I will set a sign among them (Jews)...they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles.”
Funny things this: The world calls the Palestinian territories the “occupied territories.” But have a look at the verse below and see what God says!
Deuteronomy 1:8 “See I have set the land before you; go in and possess (Lit=occupy) the land which the Lord swore to your fathers – to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give to them and to their descendents after them.”
Other verses show that these areas to be occupied by Israel are in fact today’s so-called West Bank, Jordan Valley and surrounds.
So, Netanyahu promises to annex these very areas, and the world comes against it!
Beware of disinformation and collusion alliances! These are the methods of the media to entrap you.
Bible teachers today, more than ever, need to be full of great truth. The secret key is to teach the full gospel as led by the Spirit. (Hebrews 6:1-2) If you do it will contain within it a powerful method of checking. It will show Israel is: ●Elected ●Rebelled ●Rejected ●Regathered ●Repented ●Accepted.
Any doctrine that does not include all of the above bullet points, in that order is suspect!
Today many teachers stop short at “Rejected.” You can hear them and tell them a long way off. They make derogatory remarks about Israel and her fall and never have any good thing to say about what is coming for Israel. Their teaching will not bear witness in your heart. Obey that still small voice.
When the Jews come to spiritual life, it will be a great sign for the world and in fact for themselves also. It will be “Life from the dead!” (Romans 11:15)
When you are fully surrendered to our great King and Lord, everything in your life’s doing goes through the cross and is approved by our enthroned King. When not, life is a hit and miss affair founded on all that is shifting and shaking, surrendered to your own pride!
►Psalm 82:5 “They do not know, nor do they understand; they walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are unstable (Lit=moving).”
Proverbs 4:19 "The way of the wicked is like darkness, they do not know what makes them stumble."
The great shaking is beginning. We see it as we look at the sudden deterioration of law and order, morality and political chaos in the world. World war is on the horizon. Will you be able to stand securely, if we are not snatched out of here before?
Will you be able to help others see and stand in these days?

●It’s becoming very interesting watching the Middle East right now isn’t it. I don’t want to say that the current situation in Syria is the fulfilment of Isaiah 17’s destruction of Damascus. It’s not yet. In that prophecy we see Damascus left a “ruinous heap”...that’s still coming. We must also Israeli involvement. But it could well be the early days of Isaiah 17!
●May I remind you of my view. The ongoing Arab Spring and the arising of the people against their cruel dictator leaders is right. It will all become very wrong when they drag Israel into the situation. Israel will not interfere in the Arab Spring and hasn’t done so, but someone will soon do something to cause Israel to react.
That will change the entire nature of things and lead to the unfolding of many prophetic events.
Keep your eye on all of these events!
Enemies of Bible prophecy:
The enemies of Bible prophecy are many. They are the friends of the god of this world.
Some people are enemies of Bible prophecy out of simple ignorance and disinterest. When they do come across snippets of prophecy, they reject it.
Many are in total darkness and ignorance about these things and many others say stupid things like “It’s all just coincidence.”
Some are enemies of Bible prophecy because it doesn’t suit their half-baked, self-centred view of things.
Some are enemies of Bible prophecy because of their misguided doctrinal position.
Others are direct enemies of Bible prophecy because they’re enemies of the living God.
Many people hate prophecy because they love evil!
You can’t be neutral to Bible prophecy; you must reject it or receive it.
Our Lord declares, “Those that are not for Me are against Me” (Matthew 12:30)
Let me make an obvious statement. There’s an inextricably link with the Bible and Bible prophecy! Bible prophecy accounts for a great deal of the content of the Bible. Today there are many so-called believers, who have little time for the Bible.
The great danger in avoiding Bible prophecy:
Bible prophecy is like the eyes of the church. It shows us where we are going, where we should not go and what’s coming.
That’s so obvious yet perhaps it’s the biggest problem in the church today.
If you remove the eyes, you’re going to stagger around blindly.
As humans we have six senses. If you think you can do without your eyes because you have five others...you’re a stupid fool!
Perhaps a greater danger than spiritual blindness is the fact that if you reject Bible prophecy, you automatically replace it with your own ideas and the ideas of the world and its god, Satan.
Many ministers of certain types of churches would never teach or even mention Bible prophecy. They themselves are ignorant of it and its vitally important place in the church. They are the blind leading the blind!
Many people within the church are end-time scoffers. In their clouded ignorance they mock and come against prophecy. I know people just like this!
2 Peter 3:3-4 “Knowing this that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? All things will continue as they were.”
We must realise and understand that we’re in a spiritual environment that is highly charged with spiritual conflict. There is a real devil, believe it or not. His time is running out, which is why he is intensifying the conflict.
If he can cloud or confuse Bible prophecy, he has achieved much.
We must come boldly into our Lord’s presence with humility and fear. But in dealing with satanic opposition and the demonic we must stand firm and fight hard, giving him no ground at all.
If we set our hearts in humility after our Lord and His word, He will lead us into all truth! If we are humble towards the devil, he will lead us into all error!
Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
The importance of correct interpretation of prophecy:
Today most people want to know what’s in the near future for them. Of course it’s mostly out of self interest and self- preservation, but nonetheless, people want to know if there’s going to be another 9/11 or another big tsunami or earthquake ripping up California. They want to know if their money is safe in the bank. They want to know what’s in the future for their kids.
All these things are quite legitimate, but most would be shocked at what really is coming!
Fulfilled Bible prophecy has a 100% fulfilment hit-rate!
The prophecies of the Old Covenant fulfilled in that era, were fulfilled literally and exactly in time and space. The prophecies of the Old Covenant, fulfilled in the New Covenant, were also fulfilled literally and exactly, some with incredible detail. This obviously means that all the prophecies of the Bible that are still unfulfilled, will be fulfilled in the same pattern.
I think the odds of gambling against that are too incredible to contemplate, yet that’s just what most people do.
The reality is that although most people have a keen interest in their future, they’ll look everywhere but to the truth!
The allegorical method of interpretation is wrong! Yes, some prophecies do have a double reference or type and shadow associated with them, but the actual fulfilment was always physically, literally and historically real.
We’ve seen the fulfilment of some 735 prophecies or 81% - all literally. This fulfilment pattern will obviously continue just the same way for the remaining 19%.
Here are some important verses of scripture relating to prophetic watchfulness:
Isaiah 21:11“Watchman what of the night, watchman what of the night.”
Ezekiel 33:6-7 “But if the watchmen sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand. So I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel, therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.”
Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me and I will show great and mighty things which you do not know.”
Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”
Weather you believe Bible prophecy or not, it is being fulfilled right before your eyes and will continue to do so!
Some people are disqualified from seeing or receiving truth:
John 18:37 “...Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
Proverbs 3:32 “His secret counsel is with the upright.”
Understanding of Biblical truth is conditional. That’s not politically correct but neither is God!
Have you ever wondered why some people just can’t see and understand spiritual things even when you explain it all really well? Have you ever wondered why there is such confusion and disagreement on the subject of Bible prophecy?
The Bible says that God is not a God of confusion and it says that Satan is the god of confusion! So, are you confused?
I suppose it’s just like our Lord says; “That even if they saw one raised from the dead they would not believe.”
Job 15:8 “Have you heard of the (lit=secret) council of God? Or do you limit your understanding to yourself.”
Job 23:12 “I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.”
Psalm 119:18 “Open my eyes that I might see wondrous things from your word.”
Psalm 119:89 “Forever, O Lord Your word is settled in heaven.”
If you ignore the Biblical conditions, God is not obliged to give you the full truth. If you do not have the living truth in your heart, you have little hope of living a holy, successful spiritual life. And you have no hope of fully understanding prophecy.
1 John 3:3 “Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself.”
2 Corinthians 7:1 “Therefore having these promises, beloved let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
1 Peter 1:15 “As He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.”
The Bible on its own is no different to any book. We call the words in the book ‘logos’. The word ‘rhema’ means revelation knowledge. It’s the knowledge that is above knowledge. Rhema is God-breathed word.
We have the same thought in the two words ‘gnosis’ and ‘epi-gnosis’. Gnosis is the original word for knowledge, while epi-gnosis is the term for knowledge that is above knowledge or the God-breathed and inspired knowledge.
Again, this thought is brought out in the Bible where it says that the “letter of the word kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:6)
There’s a huge difference. In fact this is the very reason why so many churches are stone dead. Their word is dead letter. Their ministers are ministers of death!
This is also the very reason that so many dry up in their spiritual lives. It’s also the reason why so many remain in a stagnant state or get confused by it all.
This all important transfer from dead letter to living word occurs only in and through the baptism of the Spirit.
Some won’t agree and will argue and send me emails. That’s okay, you don’t have to believe it, but let me wish you good luck in your spiritual life...you’re going to need it.
Enemies of prophecy in the pulpit:
Luke 8:18 “Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”
The above verse is perhaps one of the most politically incorrect verses in the Bible. Surely it should say, “More shall be given to those who don’t have”.
What does it mean to take heed how you hear? It means to exercise discernment. It means don’t simply swallow everything that’s out there.
Today we have an incredible thing on the go in the church pulpits of the world.
On the one hand we’re seeing many teaching and preaching the truth. They include prophecy in their mix. Others are exactly the opposite. They avoid it and are quite dead and boring. They’re one with the world.
Their stupid sermons are simply the principles of the world scantily clad in half-baked spiritual terms.
They’re full of half-truths...the wrong half!
There’s a huge responsibility on pastors and teaches.
It really is shocking to read the many portions of scripture on the failure of the church in these days. So many believers will be swallowed up by the forces of darkness as the world heads for its final great catastrophe! The dead, blind leaders of many churches will be responsible!
Enemies of prophecy are Israel’s enemies:
God has forever merged and blended His prophetic word into the very being of the Jews. In fact it’s just the same for the land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem.
Almost all unfulfilled prophecy deals with Israel in some way.
Isn’t it amazing that you can listen to sermon after sermon from a church that avoids prophecy and you’ll never hear anything positive about God’s plan for the Jews!
In fact it’s just as true the other way around. Those who never preach on the place and call for the Jews are blind to Bible prophecy.
This amazing verse below is so exciting. I’ve seen it come about more and more as many ministries open up to these things.
Isaiah 52:8 “Your watchmen will see eye to eye when the Lord brings back Zion.”
As the Lord’s work gathers momentum relating to the Jews, more and more are “seeing eye to eye.” I’ve seen some change their tune completely of late!
Of course there’re many in the other camp who’ll always be “enemies of Zion,” but then they’re not the Lord’s watchmen, are they? They’re the devils watchmen dressed in pretty long flowing Nicolaitan frocks with reversed collars. (The Nicolaitan spirit separates the clergy above the laity. It’s hated by our Lord!)
Bible prophecy spells out great troubles that lie ahead for Israel, but Bible prophecy is Israel’s best friend!
Troubles are coming, but as we see and know, it’s all part of Israel’s journey to magnificent glory.
The great tragedy is that those who reject prophecy and therefore God’s plan for Israel will and do play straight into the devil’s hands!
They become supporters of the world’s doomed ways. They become true humanists devoid of God!
Let me speak plainly and directly. Time is running out fast! We’re on the doorstep of some very dramatic times. What’s coming very soon is extremely tragic and terrible. On the other hand it’s all thrilling and exciting.
This time period is one of rapidly intensify conflict in the spirit realm, which is and will manifest more and more in the nations.
Things will most probably explode in severity very soon.
●The Catholic Church failed in its attempt to exterminate the Jews in the Inquisitions.
●Hitler failed in his attempt to exterminate the Jews in the Holocaust.
●Islam is going to try its hand very soon. They will ultimately fail as well, but not before causing great chaos.
●Later on in the tribulation period the nations of the world will meet their doom as they try to destroy Israel in a unified attack.
But what’s coming next and very soon is Islam’s attempt.
We must know how the prophetic picture fits together. We must at least know the basics or we’ll be in danger.
I encourage you to look into this website often, as well as your own favourites that deal with prophetic events.
Let me tell you something: Love is a choice. It’s not a feeling it’s a choice! Love for our Lord and His word is also a choice. May I encourage you to fall in love with our Lord and His word afresh?
When you choose to love something or someone the actions follow easily.
Make a fresh decision to choose to love the word of God and prophecy in particular. If you do that, it will be so much easier to face the coming catastrophes in this world.
2 Peter 1:19 “We also have the prophetic word made more sure, which do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.”
Bible prophecy is not the whole thing. It’s just a part, but a very necessary part of the entire Christian package.
In many ways Bible prophecy is like the dew of heaven. It’s beautiful, refreshing and makes things wonderful in their time. Prophecy enriches our spiritual lives and even though there are many warnings, it all ends in absolute refreshing blessing for the believer. It’s a great comfort!
Prophecy gives us the grace of seeing things God’s way and through His eyes.
Prophecy destroys the works of darkness. It confounds all self-opinion, annihilates sin and destroys all that’s of the god of this world!
Prophecy exalts all that’s of the true living God, all that’s holy, righteous, and wonderful and all that’s on the far side of the cross!
Psalm 37:37 “Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; for the future of that man is peace.”
1 Thessalonians 4:18 “Comfort one another with these words.” (Coming of the Lord)
Here’s a beautiful woodcut by Gutave Dore titled “Baruch writes Jeremiah’s prophecies.”
Shalom and grow in grace!
