Shabbat Shalom to all!
Let My son go!
God told Moses to tell Pharaoh to “Let My people,” referring to the children of Israel in Egypt. Pharaoh repeatedly refused. Finally, at the persuasion of ten plagues, he conceded and let them go, but then changed his mind and pursued the children of Israel who had already been supernaturally protected through the plagues. Now they were miraculously delivered as they went through the Red Sea, which closed in on the Egyptians and killed them. That’s the story everyone knows. But what about the full story?
Exodus 4:22-23 “You shall say to Pharoah, ‘thus says the Lord: Israel is My son, My firstborn. I say to you, ‘Let My son go, that he may serve Me. If you refuse, I will kill your firstborn.’’”
Pharaoh was in fact not holding Israel captive, but God’s son! He was preventing the full manifestation of Messiah in and through the Jews.
“Let My people go” = “Let My son go”.
Here we have an amazing prophecy, written many years before Messiah’s birth.
Hosea 11:1 “When Israel was a child I loved him and out of Egypt I called My son.”
This verse refers to the original Exodus, but also to the infant Yeshua being “called” out of Egypt with Mary and Joseph after fleeing from Herod. Both Pharaoh and Herod were types of antichrist.
Understand that God equates the children of Israel – the Jews, with His Son – singular. This means that there is a vital identification of Israel with Messiah. It’s all wonderfully prophetic!
But there is also a hidden terror in this alliance. Those who come against Israel and those who obstruct Israel from her journey to the Promised Land, are coming against God and setting themselves up for the greatest ever judgments of all time – the tribulation - a sea of blood!
They are setting themselves up as enemies of God’s Son!
There is a most powerful modern application of “let my people go. / Let My son go.”
Here it is: ●Pharaoh = antichrist. ●Egypt = the world. ● Israel = Israel and the Jewish Messiah.
Not all Jews now are holy and Messiah-like by any stretch of the imagination. But there is a prophetic “down payment” for the salvation of a great many Jews in the end times. Many will come as returning prodigal sons. Besides, God says they are My son!
But have you wondered why God aligns and identifies His own Son with Israel? It is because His own Son, our Messiah was a perfect Jew! He kept the holy Torah. In so doing He identifies what sin is and holiness is.
Messiah was perfect and a similar holiness is coming to the Jews (not that anyone will be totally perfect this end of resurrection.)
Isaiah 4:2-4 “Those of Israel who have escaped and those who remain in Zion and Jerusalem, will be called holy, when the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the blood of Jerusalem, by the spirit of judgement and by the spirit of burning.”
Isaiah 60:21 “Your people (Israel) shall all be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.”
Israel is the son of God. The Catholic church is the counterfeit son, the son of Babylon, with its multitudes of institutional sins, none, of which will be practised or sanctioned by the true Son of holiness, God’s Son.
The son of Babylon is also referred to as the daughter of Babylon and the great whore of Babylon. (Isaiah 47:1, Psalm 137:8, Revelation 17:1)
We as Christians are grafted into the tree of Israel, rooted in Messiah. We are part of the “commonwealth of Israel” – not the commonwealth of Rome!
Ministries with no heart for Israel do have a heart for a foreign god.
Image below: various Renaissance artists’ renditions of some of the apostles.
In these days you need to have your heart open to the full, undefiled, ancient truth, without any pagan or otherwise influences. You need to be clean and holy in doctrine as well as action and even thought.
Jeremiah 6:16 “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it. Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk in it.”
It is only the undefiled truth that will stand and produce the best fruits.
The disciples of old had to often contend for the truth, on many occasions giving their lives for their unflinching stand. Those who were double minded and mixed with the errors of Babylon and the occult, were the ones who fell away. The same is the story today! (John 6:66)
Many are “saved” by a cross-less god - a fun-filled, jolly father Xmas god, forever giving and demanding nothing, who in fact is “another Christ”, a foreign god a liar and deceiver.
Today Satan and his disciples want to remove Messiah in you. They want to remove and destroy the word of God in you and then they will spit you out like used bubble gum.
They want to strip Messiah out of Israel, but they can’t because God calls Israel My son! With Messiah removed from Israel, it would become a son of Babylon in a flash.
The wisdom of Babylon is the wisdom of the world, which is the wisdom of Satan and the wisdom of ultimate failure.
No one is truly wise without the knowledge of God. This knowledge of God is the input, understanding is the arrangement, and wisdom is the output, and it must all be orchestrated by the Spirit of God.
The outcome of the blessing of the Lord is revealed by Moses just before he died. Deuteronomy 28:10 “Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you.”
Let My people go – to Messiah. Let the Jewish Messiah go - to My people, Jew and Gentile, in these end times!
Shalom...Joel

What must Israel do?
What must Israel do?
Introduction:
(See the section entitled, “The glorious amethyst”, below, for an explanation of the image above.)
These are days of doom, glory, demonic deception, truth, the end of an era and the early days of God’s new world.
These are days of excitement and the spiritual awakening of the sleeping giant, Israel. King David is stirring in his grave. He is about to stand up and once again face Goliath! Any bets or guesses who will win again?
Our modern day David is under great threat. His very existence is threatened on multiple fronts.
What must Israel do now? I don’t care what you think, or I think or the mass-media thinks. What God thinks and says is the bottom line.
The wisdom of Issachar:
1 Chronicles 12:32 “Of Issachar, men who have understanding (Lit= to have insight) of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, 200 chiefs, and all their kinsmen were under their command.”
Issachar was the ninth son of Jacob. The name Issachar means “He will bring a reward.” These selected men within the tribe of Issachar had knowledge of astronomy and celestial cycles. They knew when the Feasts of the Lord were to be kept and they knew all about times and seasons and the calendar. The sons of Issachar had knowledge of things past, present and future relating to Israel.
The sons of Issachar are also associated in the Bible with a donkey lying down between two heavy burdens. The symbolism here is taking the easy way out! (Genesis 49:14)
1 Chronicles 12:18 “Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, (means “to carry a heavy burden”) chief of the captains and he said: ‘We are yours, O David; we are on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to your helpers! For your God helps you. So David received them, and made them captains of the troops.”
1 Chronicles 12:33 “Of Zebulun (means “to dwell gloriously”) there were fifty thousand who went out to battle, experts in war, with all the weapons of war, stouthearted men who could keep ranks.”
1 Chronicles 12:38 “All these men of war, who could keep ranks, came to Hebron with a loyal heart, to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest of Israel were of one mind to make David king.”
These verses reveal the switch of the troops from Saul to following David. Those who remained with Saul died. These verses speak of David’s military men standing with him and relate today to Israel’s military machine!
The glorious Amethyst:
The image right at the top is an amethyst overlaid on many small amethysts.
The gemstone of the tribe of Issachar is the amethyst, which has a beautiful royal purple / violet colour. It is rich in symbolism. This is God’s colour.
The ninth stone in the priest’s breastplate is the amethyst. The belief is that the amethyst prevents intoxication. So, drinking cups were made of amethyst. The Hebrew meaning is to dream and gain wisdom. It is also the 12th foundation stone of the New Jerusalem.
So, wrapped up in this stone is sobriety, royalty, preciousness, and dreams from God.
Nine is the number of finality. It is also the gestation period of the human baby. It is also associated with the nine fruits of the Spirit. The amethyst is also associated with judgment.
Exodus 28:15-19 “You shall make the breastplate of judgment ...the third row – an amethyst.”
Deuteronomy 33:18-19, 24 “They (Zebulun and Issachar) shall call the peoples to the mountains; There they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they shall partake of the abundance of the seas and the treasures hidden in the sands.” Verse 24 “Asher is the most blessed of sons; let him be favoured by his brothers and let him dip his foot in oil.”
This speaks of the fact that oil wealth will play a part in the end-time events.
The Issachar summary:
Okay, so let’s put this lot together and see what we come up with.
●The sons of Issachar knew the celestial signs. This applies to the prophetic importance of the lunar cycles and the Feasts of the Lord and would include signs such as the lunar eclipse tetrad.
●We can apply the meaning of the name, Issachar, “he will bring a reward,” to Israel and the reward who is the Messiah Himself.
●Israel will be presented with “the easy way out”. That will be the way of the world and the two-state solution etc.
●The military leaders with their “heavy burdens” will remain or become loyal to David (Israel).
●The military machine of Israel will be highly disciplined “people who can keep rank”. In other words they will be loyal to God’s covenants and not be influenced by the opinions of the world in favour of the Palestinians.
●We see in the amethyst messages of sobriety, wisdom, dreaming of victory, finality and judgment.
●In relation to Issachar, Zebulun and Asher we see associations with the treasures of the deep and of the sands. We see a “foot dipped in oil.” This relates perfectly to oil wealth and could also extend to agriculture and other riches also. The recent massive oil and gas discoveries by Israel fit in well here.
The Feasts of the Lord:
The sons of Issachar knew the celestial signs and their relationship to Israel. The Feasts of the Lord are based on the lunar calendar. They would have known all about the importance of the Feasts to Israel and their meanings.
Of the seven Feasts of the Lord, the first four have already been fulfilled in the events of the cross, resurrection and coming of the Spirit at Pentecost. The remaining three are still to be fulfilled. They will be fulfilled in the same order as the others. They will be fulfilled in the events of the tribulation period, wrath, and judgement leading up to the Second Coming and the Millennium.
The next Feast to be fulfilled is the Feast of Trumpets, also called Rosh Hashanah (and known as the Jewish New Year.) It will be fulfilled at the start of the tribulation.
This Feast is celebrated over the first two days of the Jewish New Year. Do you see the importance of that? If we are going to have a tribulation start, then this could also be the time of the rapture. But, “no one knows the day or hour”. Well, if Trumpets is a two-day Feast that means the rapture could take place here and qualify for “no one knowing the day.”
The Feast is characterised by self-judgement and repentance. This also relates to the Jews on a much wider scale.
This Feast is characterised by numerous trumpet or shofar blasts all having meaning. It is also when the names of the “righteous” are written in the Book of Life.
Many are not aware that this Feast marks the sixth day of creation. In terms of the seven dispensations of God, this means that the Feast of Trumpets this year could be on a day marking the end of one dispensation and the start of another. This would be the end of the Church era, and the start of Daniel’s seventieth week, (the tribulation), completing the Old Covenant.
Amongst the different trumpet blasts are nine staccato blasts signifying awakening, with nine being the number of finality.
The Torah portion for day two of the Feast is usually Jeremiah 31:1-19 which amazingly includes the “time of Jacob’s trouble” – the tribulation period, which is the judgement of God.
The Feast of Trumpets is primarily associated with judgement. It is coming soon. It is all about judgment on the world. The one thing the world hates and has removed from society is judgement and the very definition of sin. The tribulation is about to bring modern man down, down, down!
At the same time we have the next of the four blood moon tetrad eclipses.
At the same time Israel will be brought under extremely severe judgment, but the Jews will repent en mass.
So, now these are the messages from the sons of Issachar. Let’s go further and see what else the Bible has to say about what Israel must do now.
God’s promises to Israel:
You had better know these things and know them well in this day!
Understand that Esau, Ishmael, the Philistines and the tribes with an “ite” in their names are the source and root of the Arab peoples and by extension the Palestinians. Edom and Amman are modern day Jordan and are also a type of the Palestinians.
Malachi 1:3-4 “Jacob I have loved and Esau I have hated, and laid waste his mountains and his heritage for the jackals of the wilderness. Even though Edom (Esau) has said, we have been impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places, thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘They may build but I will throw down; they shall be called the Territory of Wickedness, and the people with whom the Lord will have indignation forever. Your eyes shall see, and you shall say, The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel.”
Ezekiel 35:5-6 “Because you have an ancient hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity , when their iniquity came to an end, therefore as I live, says the Lord God, I will prepare you blood and blood shall pursue you.”
Genesis 17:7-8 “I will establish My covenant between Me and you (Abraham) and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.”
Genesis 17:18-21 “Abraham said to God, ‘O that Ishmael might live before You!’ Then God: “No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant and with his descendant after him.”
Genesis 27:40-41 “By your sword you shall live, and you shall serve your brother, and it shall come to pass when you become restless, that you shall break his yolk from your neck. So Esau hated Jacob (Israel)”
Obadiah 1:10 “For violence (Lit-Chamac, Hamas in English) against your brother Jacob (Israel) shame shall cover you and you shall be cut off forever.”
Amos 1:6-7 “I will send fire on the walls of Gaza...and the remnants of the Philistines (Palestinians today) shall perish.”
These verses above are of vital importance as they clearly spell out God’s will and way in the eternal covenants He made with Israel. Who owns the land of Israel? Who has a legitimate right to it? It’s all very clear in these verses.
In these verses we see the origin of the Israeli / Palestinian troubles today.
What Israel should have done:
What powerful verses these are:
Numbers 33:50-55 Instructions for the conquest of Canaan: “Moses, speak to the children of Israel and say to them: When you have crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved stones, destroy all their moulded images and demolish all their high places...but if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those you let remain, shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell.”
Exodus 34:11-14 “Observe what I command you this day. Behold I am driving out from before you the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite. Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be a snare in your midst. You shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars and cut down their wooden images, for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous is a jealous God.”
Here is the cause of the entire Israeli / Palestinian problem! Here it is all wrapped in these incredible verses above!
Note that God’s command to the children of Israel going over into the Promised Land was for them to destroy these people and their gods and religion. These people were the ones from whom the modern Arabs and Palestinians originated.
Note what God said would happen if they did not destroy them all!
We know from history that the children of Israel did not completely destroy these people as they went into the Promised Land. Now the Palestinians are “irritants in their eyes” “Thorns in their side harassing them.”
Summary of the above verses and key phrases:
The world has coined the term “The Territories” relating to so-called Israeli-occupied territory. But note what God calls them. He calls them “The Territory of wickedness!”
So, we see in God’s covenants with Israel and in these verses above, who owns the land, and the city of Jerusalem. We see the gravity and severity of God’s word on these issues. This all applies to the current situation.
What you must do is stand with God’s word for Israel and stand against God’s and Israel’s enemies, especially the mass media.
What I’ve done for your benefit now is simply grouped some of the key phrases from this edition into those that relate to the Palestinians and those that relate to Israel.
Palestinians:
●The territory of wicked. ●The Lord will have indignation on them forever. ●They shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you. ●They shall be cut off forever. ● I will prepare you (Palestinians) for blood and blood shall pursue you.
Israel:
●Do not take the easy way out. ● I have made with you an everlasting covenant and given the land to you as an everlasting possession. ●Make no covenant with them. ●Destroy these people and their gods.
Israel’s future:
Jeremiah 31:13 “Then shall the young women rejoice in dance and the young and old men shall be merry. I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and give them gladness for sorrow.”
Israel will dance the dance of God! One thing that I’ve always noticed is that the Jews are a very “dancy” people! Soon, like David, they will dance before the Lord with all their might. But it will be a dance like no other! It will be a salvation dance!
Psalm 89:15 “Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.”
What Israel must do now is do what it should have done ages ago! If Israel had done what God commanded her way back in the Exodus times the picture would be different! But God knew that they would rebel and provided for it in His word.
The shocking thing is that God’s requirements for Israel today are the same as back in antiquity. It is military conquest that Israel needs to perform and not repeated cease fires and peace deals.
We know from God’s word that Israel will be victorious in the end. What is really amazing is that all of these things are starting to unfold before us right now and few can see it. Yet God has shown it to us in His word.
What will Israel actually do?
Ezekiel 39:21-29 “I will set My glory among the nations; all the nations shall see My judgment, so the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day forward. The Gentiles shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they were unfaithful to Me, therefore I hid My face from them. I gave them into the hand of their enemies and they all fell by the sword... Now I bring back the captives of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name after they have borne their shame...Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God who sent them into captivity...And I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel says the Lord.”
The above verses and many like it show that Israel will endure and finally repent nationally and respond to God’s word in obedience. At the same time they will see and recognise their Messiah.
Israel will ultimately do what God has said and told them to do. Israel will ultimately become the Messiah-messenger to the world.
But it won’t be without going through incredible and terrible war, conflict hardship and suffering due to their rebellion against God.
Today there is so much disagreement on the Palestinian / Israeli issue. Amazingly it is all laid out right here in the scriptures. Not only is God’s plot and plan laid out for all to see, how it will play out and the end is also right here!
Unfortunately only the few compared to the many will see it and rest in the truth.
What must you do?
At the end of the day what Israel must do and what you must do is open your heart and mind to our Lord. Open your spiritual eyes and your heart. Gain knowledge, understanding and wisdom of the things of God and do it with a soft repentant heart before our Lord.
Toughen up your defences. Close your mind and heart to the will and way of the devil trying to lead you away from God’s truth.
Spit on the opinions of the mass-media and reject their influence.
It’s very wise to get yourself on God’s side, to say nothing of the beautiful rest and peace it creates.
How stupid, thick and dumb it is to line yourself up with the losers, God’s enemies and the world’s demon-possessed politicians.
Psalm 47:5 “God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.”
Ezekiel 36:26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a new, soft heart.”
Ezekiel 11:19 “I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them and take the stony heart out.”
Jeremiah 24:7 “Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with a whole heart.”
I took the pictures below in the deserts of Southern Africa.
Psalm 63:1 “O God, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.”
Shalom and grow in grace!
