|This ministry has a distinct kingdom, Messianic vision, identifying with God’s call and plan for the Jewish people and the church. My position is pre-trib! Personally: I was saved in 1976 while working as a war correspondent, journalist, photographer, artist and environmentalist. My calling is to share these great end-time dramas, to stand as a watchman and above all, to glorify my God.|

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.
Edition 285: November 11th 2015
As real as gravity and as unseen as gravity are the colliding worlds of God and Satan. The affects of kingdoms in conflict are what we need to observe and know how to deal with.
We do know that as we move on closer to the coming of our Lord, the coming downfall of Satan comes closer too, and the upheavals, the attacks and the troubles intensify. (Revelation 12:12)
Almost all colliding worlds stem from Satan’s attacks on the Bible. This is essentially what this edition is about.
Colliding ideologies, religious beliefs, and entire kingdoms in conflict are rooted in the spiritual. In fact even the very divisions within the church are rooted in spiritual conflict and Satan’s attacks on the word of God.
We are going to look primarily at the enormous problems created by miss-translated words in various translations of the Bible.
Right up front let me say that there is one translation, the New International Version (NIV) that you should never use. Throw it out if you have one.
Some translations are much better than others. Some have only one or two minor, unimportant errors and some like the King James Version are riddled with giant errors as you will see.
There is only one Bible that is pure and true, all the way through, which is called the Holy Spirit anointed cannon of scripture, and that is the original texts in Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic, of which there are some 20,000 surviving manuscripts.
Some translation, like the King James Version has been translated and revised numerous times from the Latin, then into old English and contains slanted Catholic church doctrine within it.
I have found through my studies that the New King James Version (NKJ) is the best of the bunch. It dismisses the King James Latin translation all together, but keeps a bit of the “flavour” of it. It does have a few minor unimportant translation errors or differences. The New King James is a word for word translation from the original texts and is therefore a good study Bible.
Our friend Alan Horvath uses a number of translations, but does his word studies out of the Hallelujah Scriptures, which expands on the original word meanings. This is an excellent study Bible, but will rock your boat.
A translation error may be of no consequence at all if it’s a minor issue. But a single word miss-translated can create an entire false doctrine. In fact sometimes a single word wrongly translated can lead masses to hell and shipwreck entire nations, as you are about to see.
Just think about this: If the word of God is exactly that, wouldn’t it be a prize target of the devil? And you would be quite right. Satan has resisted and tried to change God’s word right from the Garden. Do you remember what Satan said to Eve? He said, “Has God said you shall not eat of every tree in the garden?” Questioning, resisting and changing God’s word has always been his ace trump.
Of course there is one very, very big issue in all of this. We as believers have the privilege of inviting the very author of the scriptures into our hearts through the baptism of the Spirit. This opens to us a whole new world and transforms the Bible from dead letter to living word, giving us supernatural guidance.
How deception works:
What causes deception? The attacks are going to come like it or not, but there are some keys we need to bear in mind.
Deception is always on a collision course with true, established biblical doctrine, inspired and led by the Spirit of God.
Deception and false doctrine is a slippery slope! Once you get onto it, you are slipping and sliding away. I know a number of people who were doing well in their walk with our Lord. They opened a door just a little and Satan kicked it wide open and they slipped away into metaphysics and all sorts of other trash. Now they condemn the truth and exalt the error!
2 Timothy 4:3-4 “The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers and they will turn their ears away from the truth.”
Deceptive doctrines appeal to pride. Many people have a secret pride in their lives. They are proud of their religious standing, or their own intellect, or even what the Lord has done for them. Many people have a secret desire to control and dominate others. These people will always have many doors open to being deceived.
Self will, self elevation, pride of life, and self importance, are all conditions which open doors to deception and even the demonic. Failure to close those doors solidly will always leave you vulnerable.
Being ill-equipped to deal with spirits of error will also leave you vulnerable. Rejection of the gifts of the Spirit leaves you wide open to defeat. Ignorance of the scriptures in these days abounds and is so very dangerous.
Bear in a mind this very powerful, far reaching verse: “God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6) If you are a believer and full of pride, God is resisting you and you are blind. You are a target for deception. If God is resisting you, you are wrecked.
Many believers have an open outright arrogance to them, which has never been defeated or brought down by God. They are open receptacles’ for deception. Many people get totally discouraged, beaten down and defeated. They are in many cases also open for deception.
Primarily, the cause is pure pride and arrogance. With some it’s in your face and with others it’s secret, subtle and hidden behind all sorts of masks.
Deception comes on the wings of false doctrine. When a doctrine is taken out of its biblical context it can become false. When any doctrine is presented by a man or woman full of self-will, it’s dangerous and can morph into false doctrine.
When any doctrine is taken out of the hands of the Holy Spirit or a person not surrendered fully to the Holy Spirit, it has the potential of going off track.
Doctrine becomes polluted and false when used by an ignorant person, or a novice or someone without much knowledge of the entirety of the scriptures.
Some people have a normal, natural propensity for false doctrine. They are eternally gullible and will believe anything dressed up in religiosity. They have un-surrendered hearts.
We must know that the Bible and all true doctrines are under primary attack right now. As a believer, you must know your Bible in these days and you must know the author, the Holy Spirit personally.
Have a look at these shocking verses:
Galatians 1:8 “If we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” False doctrine brings a curse!
Romans 16:17 “I urge you brethren, note those who cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine you have learned and avoid them.”
Be careful of new truth, or new revelation or new doctrines. New truth means the old truth was not sufficient all these years, and now you need to add to it and change it. Modernising truth never ever works!
Jeremiah 6:16 “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old (ancient) paths, where the good way is and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.”
Do you think finding or changing Bible verses to accommodate homosexuality will ever work or be accepted by God? – If you do, you giant, blind fool!
Emphasising certain doctrines or truths at the expense of others will upset your spiritual balance – always.
Half truths make you a half-baked, gullible sucker with doors wide open to the devil.
Now let’s have a look at major translational errors in two versions of the Bible.
The errors of the King James Bible (KJV):
Firstly, there is a clear-cut cult who believes that only the KJV is the inspired actual word of God and all other translations are of the devil. The KJV onlyists are to be avoided. Of course there is nothing wrong with using this Bible for general reading etc. but there are enough translational errors to make it a dangerous study Bible.
Thou shalt not kill:
The KJV uses the phrase, “Thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13). The original word for “kill” is “ratsach,” which means murder or homicide. There is a very big difference. Genesis 9:6 “If you shed man’s blood (murder) by man your blood must be shed.” That speaks of capital punishment. We see the same thing in Romans 13:4 “He is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practises evil.” Again, this is referring to capital punishment.
So now, if the KJV says, “thou shalt not kill”, we have an irreconcilable contradiction. Tragically, this single word mistranslated has been the actual source of the abolition of capital punishment movement worldwide. One word wrongly translated has led to many not being executed who should have been.
Most other translations say, “You shall not murder,” which is correct.
Now let’s do a slight detour and look at a modern heresy and false doctrine that has emerged out of this wrongly translated word:
Today there is a dangerous false doctrine doing the rounds called the Humane Gospel. It believes that God ordered His people to be vegetarians. They use this verse as one of their “proofs” saying that “thou shalt not kill” also refers to meat-eating.
So, if the Bible teaches that we should not eat meat, how come God ordered the eating of lamb at the Passover meal? (Exodus 12: 3-46). It is the Passover lamb, not the Passover cauliflower! How come God fed the children of Israel with manna and quail which is a bird? (Psalm 105:40, Exodus 16:13). How do you explain the following verse?
Romans 14:1 “Receive one who is weak in faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things, for one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.
The funny thing is that the protagonists of the Humane Gospel are mostly angry men. Shouting to create manipulation is their method. They have to use manipulation and intimidation to get gullible people to fall for them. This is always a key in identifying ulterior motives.
Sorry, Humane Gospel and your protagonists of deception, you are WRONG, deceived and charging down a road indefensible in the Bible.
Deuteronomy 27:18 “Cursed be he who makes the blind (gullible) to wander out of the way of God. Bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of our Messiah.”
An important thing to remember in identifying deception and false doctrine is that the practitioners always use selected verses at the exclusion of others that contradict them. And they always use manipulation or intimidation to trap and control their victims.
Again do you see how one word wrongly translated can cause so much trouble?
The KJV uses the word Easter (Acts 12:4). The original word is “Pascha” meaning Passover. (Pesach in Hebrew.) If you are a regular reader, you would be well aware that Easter is the name of the Babylonian sex goddess, Ishtar. Easter is simply the English transliteration. Easter was designed by the Catholic church to be a floating convocation, so that it could be moved so as never to fall on Passover.
The reason for this was the hatred of the Catholic church for the Jews and all things Hebraic in origin. There is so much more to this, which I won’t get into now because it’s only part of our subject. I’ll give you a taste: Did you know Easter has its own number, which reveals very much? I’ll deal with that another time.
Here’s the big thing. If the KJV is the actual inerrant word of God, with no errors, do you think God would name the feast of commemoration of the cross, the whipping the torture and suffering of Messiah, after the goddess of sex? – You have to be mad in the head!
Tragically, this single word and its usage and meaning became part of the church’s secret hatred for the Jews through the ages. The blind church just swallows all the garbage originating from Babylon and Rome and they think they’re just fine!
The NIV also uses the word “Easter” instead of “Passover.”
If, like many most Rome-persuaded ministers you say, “we just use the name Easter”, please answer these verses:
Exodus 23:13 “Be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth.”
Zephaniah 1:4 “...Against the inhabitants of Jerusalem, I will cut off every trace of Baal from this place, the names of the idolatrous priests, with the pagan priests.
►The secret cryptic clue: A witch in a wicker basket is coming very soon!
A falling away:
The KJV uses the word “A falling away” instead of “the falling away, from the original. This has major implication for the rapture of the church. “A falling away” could refer to many things including a falling away from the faith, which has become the presumption of the verse.
“The falling away” refers to a specific event. It has nothing to do with a church falling away from the faith, although that is happening in the denominations. Other verses suit that much better. “The falling away” refers to the actual rapture of the church, which will “fall away” fast from the earth! It should be “The departure.”
There are numerous other translation errors in the KJV, which have resulted in entire false doctrines or at least incorrect leanings.
The errors of the New International Version: (NIV.)
You should never use the NIV not for a moment. It is a true counterfeit Bible.
The NIV has 64,000 words omitted in total.
It yields to modernism, liberalism, and many modern evils. It removes the deity of Messiah. It is pro-abortion. The NIV attacks the Trinity, the virgin birth, eternal punishment, God’s call upon Israel, flesh theology, supports replacement theology through the use of the word Easter. (See KJV above)
The problems can be seen right up front in the translation committee who are made up of Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodist, Presbyterians and other spiritually dead ministers of denominations. “The first thought of the translators is to the thought of the writers and not the original texts.”
One of the translators is an open homosexual while an advisor is an active lesbian who has written books like “Is the homosexual my neighbour?” She says, “God is female, the mother of us all.”
The NIV uses some of the corrupt Alexandra manuscripts written by the blasphemer Origen and some of the Byzantine original manuscripts which are the truth.
Here are just a few of the major translational errors:
Luke 2:33 “Joseph and His (Yeshua) mother marvelled...” The NIV says, “The child’s father and mother...” This is a subtle removal of the deity of Messiah. Yeshua never had a human father!
Luke 1:15 “He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from His mother’s womb.” The NIV says, “He will be filled, even from birth.” This presumes that life begins at birth and not in the womb! If life begins at birth and not in the womb, abortion is not murder!
Colossians 1:14 “We have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” The NIV removes the word “blood”!
Luke 11:4 “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” The NIV omits “deliver us from the evil one.”
Revelation 11:17 “...The Lord God almighty, is the One who is and was and is to come.” The NIV omits “who is to come.”
I’m sorry; I get so angry even writing about this, so I’ll stop. I’ll just mention some of the other problems without going into them. If you are interested – look them up!
The NIV removes “Satan” from many verses. The NIV removes and changes the doctrine of hell in numerous verses. The NIV interferes with prophecy all over the place. The NIV changes many verses and omits some completely in the Revelation. The word “flesh” as it relates to the sin nature is removed throughout the NIV. The NIV refers to our Lord as he, instead of He in numerous places, obviously diminishing His deity.
The NIV is used as the pew Bible in most denomination churches. It is used by most denominational ministers. It is corrupt and rotten.
Can you get saved using these Bibles? You are not saved by a Bible or a church. You are saved by the work of the Holy Spirit, so yes of course you can get saved using almost any Bible. But after salvation you must pursue the truth!
Hosea 14:9 “...The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walks in them, but transgressors stumble in them.”
Personally, I use the New King James version (NKJ) which many students of Greek and Hebrew believe to be the best of the bunch, with only a few minor unimportant errors. I also use other study Bibles as aids. By the way, I do most of my work the old fashioned way. I write thousands of notes, read books and study the physical Bible.
The glorious Menorah:
I love the sculptural, geometric form of the menorah. Many years ago I spent a long time making a large silver and gold menorah, which still stands in my lounge. But it is the symbolism that is really important.
The menorah symbolises light, wisdom, and divine inspiration. Six of the candle branches represent the knowledge and wisdom of man while the middle one represents the knowledge and wisdom of God, bringing enlightenment to man. The construction of the menorah is commanded in the Bible. It is obviously Hebraic in nature.
In the Revelation, our Lord is seen walking amongst the seven candles of a menorah, here representing the churches, as He pronounces spectacular commendation and condemnation on the churches.
Today we need to have a menorah in our hearts, lighting our paths in these dark days. This is the way to stability in these days. The way of God’s wisdom is needed more desperately today.
It is only the active work of God’s wisdom in our lives that brings true fulfilment and purpose. It brings rest and calmness in an angry world.
The triumph of truth is eternally inevitable. Truth does not borrow from error. There is nothing but purity in truth. Truth is deep, it is separate from error and it is full of love. Truth is a bastion and pillar of stability for believers. God is at work right now restoring truth to the true church. He is restoring the tabernacle of David, while an entire section of the church falls away. Truth has and will always collide with error.
