This website is distinctly Messianic, comprising the Abrahamic expression of faith, which is to the Jew and the Gentile. We affirm the fullness of truth contained in the Bible, embracing the cross and identifying with the convocations of the Lord. We reject the legalism of many in the Messianic movement. We reject the Babylonian Pagan traditions of the church. We consider all people Jews and Gentiles and those in all churches who are truly born of the Spirit of the living God to be one family. We proclaim a kingdom vision. We affirm and identify with God's plan and call to the Jewish people in these days and will support and stand with them as future brothers and sisters. Our slant is pre-trib! The Prophetic Scroll's aim is to glorify the living God.
I was saved in 1976 and became extremely interested in Bible prophecy, being an ex war-correspondent and photographer. My calling and aim is to share the dramatic, all-important issues of prophecy relating to our day. Please study these things further yourself. Please search the scriptures to “see if these be true.” The Prophetic Scroll stands as a watchman in these exciting and dangerous days.

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

The Miracle of the Rapture:
The Miracle of the Rapture:
Most people who reject the rapture are so earthly minded that they are totally blind (and useless)!
The rapture will be the biggest miracle ever not-seen. It will be the biggest, supernatural miracle ever. But you see, most people don’t believe in miracles. They are bound up in the natural world with natural, physical explanations for everything. Apart from being such boring people, they all have a real nasty shock coming!
“Yeah, I’ll believe it when I see it”, they say. Well here’s the double shock: “You won’t see it”. It will happen in an “atomo” (atomic division of a second!) or “twinkling of an eye.” Secondly, even if you did see it, you won’t believe! (Luke 16:31.)
Regret is a terrible thing, because it means that which you regret, may have had the opposite result. You wish that you could turn the clock back!
Most people live for the present. “Me now” is their unsaid motto! They are self-made people with eyes for all things material.
Do you have a hope in Messiah in this worldly kingdom? – You miserable, pitiable idiot!
1 Corinthians 15:19 “If in this life only, we have hope in our Messiah, we are of all men most pitiable. (Lit=miserable).”
The miracle of the rapture also entails a miraculous future universe. It will have no curse, and will be perfect. The abode of the raptured saints is heaven, New Jerusalem, a renewed earth and the whole universe.
Rightly dividing the word of truth:
2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourselves approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Incorrectly dividing the word of truth, as you can imagine, produces all sorts of doctrinal conflicts that work out as conflicts in reality.
Perhaps the most important (and resisted) doctrinal division is between those who believe in dispensations and those who reject them. What applies to the Jews, and what to the church, and when, is most important.
You must decide whether Daniel’s seventieth week is “determined upon My people” – the Jews or the church. (Daniel 9:24). You must decide whether the “time of Jacob’s trouble” is for Israel or the church. (Jeremiah 30:7). You must decide whether the tribulation saints, those saved in the tribulation, are the church or not. (Revelation 7:14).
Those three alone speak of the reality of dispensations. The church is not in view in those verses at all. They are clearly for Israel and the Jews – and I mean clearly!
They clearly distinguish between what is for the Jews and not for the church. You can’t say that the church is part of the seventieth week of Daniel. You can’t say that the time of Jacob’s trouble is for the church. If you do you are contradicting God to His face.
So now, here is the big issue: If you agree with God that “My people” of Daniels’ seventieth week is the Jews and if you agree with God that the time of Jacob’s trouble is for Jacob and His offspring, the Jews, then how can you say that the church will be the object of God’s wrath, Satan’s wrath, and man’s wrath throughout the tribulation?
In other words, how can you believe in a post-tribulation rapture? If you believe in a post -tribulation rapture and agree with God that tribulation is for the Jews, you need to make an appointment with your local shrink.
But here’s an even more scary thought: If you believe in a post-tribulation rapture, you do believe that there is no distinction between the church and Israel. In other words, you are of replacement theology!
You may protest that statement, but if you honestly think it through, it is so.
The post-tribber has many dilemmas with dividing the scriptures rightly, especially in the Revelation. They must put Revelation chapters four and five, dealing with the arrival of the raptured saints in heaven, after chapter nineteen, dealing with the end of the tribulation. They have many other similar problems.
Surprising rapture miracles:
The following verses describe various aspects of the rapture or results of the rapture. Note the words in bold and then the accumulated sentence I’ve compiled at the end.
Daniel 12:3 “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.”
1 Corinthians 15:35-42 “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come? ‘Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive until it dies...but God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. All flesh is not the same, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another of beasts, birds and fish. There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial, but the glory of the celestial is one and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, another of the moon and another of the stars, for one differs from another. So also is the resurrection of the dead...”
1 Corinthians 15:44 “It (the body) is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.”
1 Corinthians 15:49 “We have borne the image of the man of dust, so we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.”
1 John 3:2 “Beloved, now we are the children of God; and it has not been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him.”
1 Corinthians 15:51-55 “Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep (die), but we shall be changed – in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trump (for the church age)...this corruption must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality...death will be swallowed up in victory...”
Philippians 3:20-21 “Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Yeshua Messiah, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body...”
Luke 24:36-43 “Now as they (disciples) said these things, Yeshua Himself stood in the midst of them and said to them, ‘Peace to you.’ But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit...He said to them, ‘behold My hands and My feet, it is I, handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bone...then He ate in their presence.’”
1 Corinthians 13:12 “Now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know just as I am also known.”
2 Timothy 2:12 “If we endure, we shall also reign with Him...”
Daniel 7:18 “The saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever and ever.”
Isaiah 9:7 “Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end...”
Revelation 22:5 “There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.”
►Here is a sentence I’ve made up of the key-words (in bold) from the verses above:
We as true believers in our Messiah will: ●Shine forever with different degrees of brightness. ●Our bodies will be spiritual and natural, just like the heavenly Man, able to eat as in the physical. ●We will be just like Him after His resurrection. ●We will be forever incorruptible, immortal, and never able to die or get sick. ●We will be conformed (made new) according to His body. ●We will be able to transcend the physical and spiritual at will. ●We will know all things, and all people with complete wisdom. ●We will rule and reign with Him in everlasting peace forever.
1 Peter 3:15 “...Always be ready to give a defence to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.”
The reason for the hope in me is that every atom, cell and molecule of me will soon be changed miraculously into an unimaginable glorious body that can transcend the physical and spiritual realms at will, and will be able to travel the universe at the speed of thought. It will be sinless, pure, holy, and totally wise.
Imagine some unsaved person asking you for the reason for the hope that is in you and you give that answer in the sentence above! No wonder people think we are mad in the head! But celebrate O mad ones – begin to dance for joy. This miraculous future is soon to be more real that the present world. Guess who will then be the ones truly mad in the head?
1 Corinthians 1:19 “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
So, who is the idiot now?
We will be in supernatural bodies forever, but we also will be superhuman! The Bible doesn’t give us clues as to exactly what we will be able to do or achieve, but we can presume that it will be far more and greater than our present state.
A supernatural body prepared for hell:
All people will live forever. The unsaved, logically, also have to get an eternal body, a resurrection body, at their resurrection – the resurrection of the damned. But the unsaved will be imprisoned in those bodies, in hell. I think that’s the most tragic thing I can think of.
Imagine being created by God for a purpose, ignoring it or rejecting it, dying and going to hell in a body that lives forever. It’s a terrible thought, but the truth.
Part of the wonderful reason for the creation of every human is to live forever in God’s will and purpose. Obviously no one can live forever in these natural bodies. So everyone gets a new eternal body.
The sceptic’s diary:
One of the sceptic’s objections to the rapture is that God would not do something like that because it would leave behind a path of destruction as Christians suddenly disappear from driver’s seats, pilot’s seats, and many other critical positions.
Well, I understand the sentiment, but the rapture has to happen. Besides, the rapture will be the greatest supernatural miracle ever, touching every single atom of the believer’s body. So, if it is to be that, would it not be possible for God to create a lesser miracle at the same time and have those who are to be raptured all in some safe spot, just for that fleeting moment?
Okay, that’s just speculation, but as said, the rapture will happen.
Besides this, the great shock awaiting many is that few will go in the rapture.
Some problems for the post-tribulation rapture adherents:
If you believe in a post-tribulation rapture you can’t be looking for and watching for our Lord. You must look for the antichrist, because, according to you, he must appear first. And by the way, when the antichrist has appeared and the tribulation has begun you will know the exact day of the Second Coming, because they are numbered.
The message to the seven churches of the Revelation plots the course of the church. It also gives us all very relevant messages for today. Most analysts agree that the message to the church of Thyatira applies to the Catholic church and other similar orthodox churches.
God condemns this church in the most horrific language and form. Here is just one verse from the discourse:
Revelation 2:22 “I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her, into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.”
This church is promised that it will be cast into the great tribulation. In the original, the definite article is there. In other words, it is THE great tribulation and not tribulation in general, which we are all subject to.
Now, here’s the amazing, logical thing, which most people miss. This verse would be a mockery in light of a post-tribulation rapture. The verse by nature of the language used is conditional. In other words, if you repent, you will not go into the great tribulation. So if we have a post-tribulation rapture, what are you talking about John?
Do you see that amazing hidden gem in that verse?
Here’s another gem from the verse: Only a certain type of people are told that they will be cast into great tribulation. That implies that there are others who will not!
A post-tribulation rapture dilemma:
Revelation 7:13-14 “...Who are these arrayed in white robes and where did they come from? These are they who came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes...”
This is one of the key post-tribulation rapture “proof” verses. They say, “You see there, we are going through the great tribulation”
The original word used for “came out” is Strong’s G1537 “Ek” meaning “clean out away from” It is the same word used in other passages describing the pre-tribulation rapture, like Revelation 3:10.
Could we now write the verse this way? Revelation 7:13-14 “...Who are these arrayed in white robes and where did they come from? These are they who came clean out away from the great tribulation, and washed their robes...”
In other words, “these are they who escaped the great tribulation.” So rather than prove that we go through the tribulation, it implies that we don’t!
When will the rapture occur?
The answer to the question is, “I don’t know for sure”. The answer is not, “I have no idea.” Today there are many reputable Bible watchers and teachers seeking, looking, researching, studying and coming up with various answers. Some are consistent with each other, some are not, but almost all are very close to each other.
Some differ by a year or so. I think the very fact that so many watchers are so close, is a powerful thing in itself. It is proof of the nearness. Yes there are el-weirdo’s out there and many deceived men and women. Yes there are disciples of the devil, throwing in their normal spanner in the works. You must come against them or ignore them at least.
Genesis 7:1-4, 10 reveals that Noah goes into the Ark seven days before the flood. The door was supernaturally shut by God then.
As Noah and family had to repopulate the destroyed earth in what was now a new post- flood dispensation, so the saved Jews and Gentiles of the tribulation will repopulate the new earth in a new dispensation called the Millennium.
Joshua chapter six speaks of the sounding of the trumpets for seven days before Jericho fell. Remember that Rahab, a type of the church, was removed from Jericho with her family before the city fell.
Both Noah going into the Ark seven days before the flood and Rahab being removed from Jericho before it fell speak of a pre-tribulation rapture.
But here is something important to consider: Could we presume that we will know seven days before the tribulation begins, when it will begin? There may be a reference here in these two stories that we will know and “see the day approaching.”
Okay, that’s speculation, but it’s not too far out to be true. We will have to wait and see!
Having said all of this, we are most certainly in the time, season and generation of our Lord’s coming. Obviously this is not cast in stone, but the greatest probability is that it will be on one of the two days of the Feast of trumpets, which is the next to be fulfilled.
It is possible that this one in October, may be it, but many of the signs are not yet in place. It is most likely to be “trumpets” of September 2017 – again, not cast in stone.
Please bear this verse in mind:
Hebrews 10:25 “...As you see the day approaching.”
Today, tragically, we have many so-called ministers of the gospel out there who are guiding their sheep, but they are blind.
I’m continually amazed at how ignorant of the English language most Christian ministers, are. They don’t know the difference between date-setting and watching. In fact the command to “watch” in the Bible is exactly that. It is a command, not an option. And it is a warning if neglected!
As always, be careful of date setting, but you had better be a watcher!
There are also many who have no gifts of revelation and who don’t operate in the revelatory gifts of the Spirit. Many of them have no idea at all about any of these end times things. They can’t see or hear what the Spirit is saying now relating to these things and especially the urgency of the time.
There are many with deep personality flaws, rejection fears and other insecurities who come to the things of God and among the saints, find the gullible ones, whom they can manipulate to gain control of them, to elevate and prop up their own terrible weakness and hide their flaws.
These ones are all over YouTube and other media operating in techniques of manipulation to gain domination.
Romans 13:11 “Do this, knowing the time, it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.”
I’ve shared many times on the incredible revelation wrapped up in the Bible words “no one knows the day or hour.” I’m not going into that again now. But let me tell you what that verse does not say: It does not say “no one knows the week, month, year or season”! Think about that O sceptic.
The ten virgins of Matthew 25 are not five believers and five unbelievers. All ten are believers (virgins). Five run out of oil, which is always a type of the Holy Spirit. This is a clear reference to those outside of the baptism of the Spirit. They are not able to endure.
Let me add that those ministers of the gospel who avoid or play down eschatology, always have worldly leanings and lead their people the same way.
When I was at school I loved science. But let me tell you what science can’t do. It can’t transcend or cross the line from the natural world to the spiritual. In the natural world we all know what a vacuum is. There is nothing in it, no air.
But spiritually there is no such thing as a vacuum. There is no such thing as nothing. You are either in an environment where Satan is king, and rules or where our Messiah is king and rules in His invisible kingdom.
Job 41:34 “He (Satan) is king over all the children of pride.”
Because you can’t see either, doesn’t mean they’re not there. At the rapture, or at death, suddenly, in a blinding flash the veil into the spiritual will be opened for everyone!
The saved will immediately see, know and rejoice. The unsaved, at their “rapture” into hell will also see, but will scream in sorrow, horror and regret.
