Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Signs of the times, olives and doves!
Signs of the times, olives and doves:
Isaiah 8:18 “Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts who dwells in Mount Zion.”
Bible prophecy is so fantastic, wonderful, glorious, and majestic – there’s nothing like it on earth! It’s filled with comfort, love, purity and holiness. It’s also filled with terror, fear, wrath and destruction all at the same time. Most don’t believe it in spite of the fact that it is all happening anyway, leaving them behind locked up in the prison of the ignorant.
How many times have you heard people say “I’ll believe it when I see it?” Actually, no they won’t. Luke 16:31 “...Neither will they believe if they see one rise from the dead.”
Believing is seeing, but seeing does not always mean believing! Believing is a heart issue with God, which opens your eyes. A closed heart is a sure way to closed eyes!
In this edition, I would like to deal with signs, times, seasons and many such things. As a freight train approaches it creates all sorts of sounds, sights and signs.
►Further down, I have a spectacular revelation and sign to share with you about ravens, doves, olives, kings and the soon coming of our Lord! (Under the picture).
Knowing the signs?
Are we able to see and know the signs or are we forbidden from knowing the signs and their messages as the majority of churches today teach?
Acts 1:7 “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in His own authority.”
The verse above so clearly refers to the disciples themselves, asking our Lord about these end-time signs, way back then. It wasn’t for them to know at the time, because it was all too far into the future.
Now here is the answer for us in these days. Note that it’s the opposite!
Please don’t send me emails with the lame, dead, mistranslated and applied “No one knows the time!”
1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 “Concerning the times and the season, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you....You brethren are not in darkness that this Day should overtake you as a thief.”
Matthew 24:32-33 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree; when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know (Lit=I command you to know) that it is near, even at the very doors.”
So, has God given us multitudes of signs in many areas to confirm and add to our faith? Yes of course.
Genesis 1:14 “God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from night; and let them be for signs and season and for days and years.”
We are to search out signs and meanings:
I’ll let these profound verses below speak for themselves:
●Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
●Daniel 2:22 “He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and Light dwells with Him.”
●Daniel 12:4 (Amp) “You Daniel shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Then many shall run to and fro and anxiously search the Book, and knowledge of God’s purposes, as revealed by His prophets shall be increased and become great.”
●Daniel 8:19 (Amp) “Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the latter time of the indignation (tribulation) of God upon the ungodly, for it has to do with the time of the end.”
●1 Chronicles 12:32 “The children of Issachar had understanding of the times, and knew what Israel ought to do.”
These men of Issachar had astronomical insights. They were watchers of the skies. They read into these signs messages for Israel in times of war. (Be careful here – don’t go overboard! Also don’t throw the baby out.)
Primary and secondary meanings:
All of the biblical signs, symbols, numbers and parables contain a central, primary, most important message. These are normally the face-value, first meaning.
But there are also many secondary meanings in the signs, sometimes quite a few. These we could call applications. They do not nullify the primary meanings, but are like overlaid layers.
There is a danger here in taking an analogy too far and reading too much into the sign. In dealing with these things, we much be sensitive to and be led by the Spirit of God.
When Bible prophecy contains more than one message, this is called the law of double reference.
Let’s look a bit further:
●The greatest sign and message of all is that which we see in fulfilled Bible prophecy itself. All the prophecies of the Old Covenant that have been fulfilled in the New, were fulfilled literally and exactly in time and space. That on its own is a major sign of the veracity of the Bible, and its supernatural content. It also means that this pattern of literal fulfilment will continue.
Interestingly, today many, including Bible teachers mock and scorn the astronomic sign of Revelation 12. But the Bible itself calls it a “great sign!” (Look it up, it’s pretty spectacular)
Revelation 12:1 “Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet...”
●Arguably, the greatest of all prophetic signs is Israel becoming a nation in 1948 and Jerusalem being restored to the Jews in 1967. Israel’s very existence and the great return to the land are also powerful signs.
●We see great signs in the messages of the seven letters to the churches in the Revelation, which plot the course of church history. Every church that ever existed can find its identity here, with God’s commendation and condemnation.
●We see great signs in the messages of the seven Feasts of the Lord, which plot the course of Gods people, and contain many other incredible signs and messages.
Our Lord uses signs for many purposes least of them is to warn the world and His people of what is coming. Many people believe that Bible prophecy becomes void if the people turn and obey the Lord.
That sounds good, but its rubbish. Pure Bible prophecy foretells and predicts something that is coming, ready or not. It deals with God’s foreknowledge. He predicts things He knows will occur because He owns the future and knows all about it.
This also does not mean God is sitting in heaven pushing red buttons to make things happen. He will be doing that in the tribulation period.
God always warns of impending judgement beforehand. It’s His nature!
A very great sign for the world now:
What follows is a spectacular revelation. It is largely hidden below the surface. For your benefit, here it comes:
We are now in the Hebrew year 5777. The Rabbis drop the thousand and refer to it as 777. In their custom they assign a word or acronym coming from the numbers for the year. This year it is the word “Oze” meaning might in the regal or kingly sense. The primary acronym for “oze” is the olive leaf, which comes from the letters making up 777 (all three together). The Rabbis are now calling 5777 the year of the olive leaf!
Some of the Jewish sages say that the essential “oze” or might of the Bible is in the olive leaf.
In Hebrew, the number seven is “zayin”. It also has an association with a crown and a sword, which comes from the meaning of the singular use of “zayin.”
What follows is well known amongst the Hebrew Rabbis and Jewish traditions. But they have missed the most spectacular meaning in the signs of what follows, because they have not yet found the Messiah.
●In Hebraic custom the symbol of the olive fruit represents King David. The olive leaf symbolises the Son of David - Messiah.
●The olive leaf is one of the symbols on the official Israeli emblem. The Rabbis describe the leaves of the olive tree as its “wings.”
●Moses threw a branch into bitter water, which transformed the bitter water into sweet. In the Hebrew Scriptures it was an olive branch (Exodus 15:22-26).
●Olive oil is also a light source. In Bible days lamps used olive oil as their fuel source, turning darkness into light. We know the parable of the ten virgins, five who did not have enough olive oil for their lamps.
●It has been discovered that olive leaf extract is a powerful healer of cardio vascular (heart) problems.
●In the Bible, olive oil is used as the anointing oil. It is also used today in anointing people for Holy Spirit blessing and work.
What amazing doves!
Do you know that the prophet Jonah was sent to the nations of the world to warn them? He didn’t like that so a big fish swallowed him and spat him out on the beach, with his tail between his legs.
But Jonah spent three days and nights in the belly of that whale. This is clearly a sign and symbol of our Lord’s crucifixion, burial and resurrection.
Do you know that in Hebrew tradition, Jonah was the Shulamite woman’s child raised from the dead by Elijah?
So, Jonah got up, went to Nineveh and delivered God’s warning message.
But here’s the amazing thing. You can look it up: The name Jonah means “dove!” Dove? It should have been whale or something like that! But no, God chose a dove to bring his message of judgment to the nations. This dove had spent three days and nights in death and been raised from the dead!
Nineveh was a city full of evil, and horrific unrestrained terror and violence.
►Today the ruins of the city of Nineveh lie within the city borders of Mosul. This is the home of the terror group ISIS and the present battle to liberate it. ISIS recently blew up the shrine of Jonah in Mosul (Nineveh). Good one ISIS, that’s going to serve you well!!
Why did our Lord say that the only sign given to this evil generation is the sign of Jonah? Could it mean that version two is right upon us now? Yes!
In Nahum chapters two and three you will find descriptions of the destruction of Nineveh including by water! We know the Mosul dam is ready to burst, which would flood Mosul – modern day Nineveh! There are no whales in this dam, only a dove sitting on the wall!
My friends, this is all happening now – just switch on the news and in the midst, the crucified and risen dove, Jonah calls for repentance!
(For more on the battle in Syria and surroundings, and the original ISIS terrorist, Saul of Tarsus, see the previous edition.)
Now, we know the Noah story. How did it end up? Noah sent out a dove. The dove came back with an olive leaf in its mouth.
Remember that the olive leaf symbolises the Messiah. It is linked to this year 5777.
Do you see what is unfolding? Noah’s dove and Jonah the dove are building up to it!
●The central message of Jonah the “crucified” dove, raised from the dead, is that total destruction and judgement is coming upon the nations of the world, and its people if they will not accept the finished work of the cross.
●The central message of Noah’s dove with an olive leaf is, the judgement of God is almost over and a new world of peace is coming. In today’s terms it means world peace is coming when Messiah returns at the end of the judgement upon the world called the tribulation.
This may blow your socks off:
The Hebrew words for olive leaf are, “zayith” = olive, “aleh” = leaf; together it is aleh-zaith.
The gematria of “aleh-zaith” in Hebrew is 522. This is also the identical gematria number, 522, for the Hebrew word shlom olam meaning eternal world peace!
This number 522 also happens to be a multiple of the gematria of the name Noah which is 58. (9x58 = 522), with nine being the number of finality. Five is the number of grace and 22 is the number of disintegration according to Bullinger’s “Number in Scripture.”
I don’t want to get into this here and now, because it’s a lengthy affair. Many sages and Rabbis have done the elaborate calculations pinpointing the date of the return of the dove to the ark. They put the date at Elul 25th. In Hebraic tradition this was the day of creation.
Just like the olive leaf, when Messiah comes He will bring peace and turn all things bitter into sweet. But first the raven must fly!
The raven must fly!
Genesis 8:7 “Then Noah sent out a raven, which kept going to and fro until the waters had dried up.” (The raven did not return to the ark.)
In Hebrew custom the raven is an unclean bird and the dove clean. The raven here represents the flesh, sin and all that is not of God, while the dove represents the supernatural plan of God – His way.
●The raven represents failure for the people in much the same way as ten of the twelve spies sent out by Joshua came back with an evil report, while two brought back the good, conquering report.
The dove with the olive leaf represents Messiah and the raven with nothing, the anti-Messiah.
●The raven has many mythological meanings. Firstly in Greek mythology it symbolises eternal life. In our application here, this would be a sign of eternal life in hell.
●The Greeks believed that the raven was a “messenger” bird of their god Apollo, a type of antichrist.
●Because the raven can smell death, being a carrion scavenger; some cultures believe the raven is a symbol of impending death and destruction.
●The raven is believed in some cultures to represent sadness.
●The raven is highly esteemed in the occult and witchcraft.
Compare all of these characteristics to those of the dove and you get the point!
Tragically, the Jews at large will only see and accept their Messiah at the end of the tribulation. They will follow wolves and ravens in their blindness until then.
To summarise: ●We see this Hebrew year being the year of the olive leaf. ●We see that the olive leaf symbolises the Messiah. ●We see that 777 is associated with the olive leaf. ●We see the dove with the olive leaf returning to the ark symbolising the end of the tribulation period and coming of Messiah. ●We see that the gematria of the olive leaf is identical to world peace. ●We see the antichrist of ultimate failure symbolised in the raven.
Bear in mind that the above discourse dovetails in with our Lord’s prophecy saying that His coming again will be “as in the days of Noah.”
Please understand that the Messiah is not returning (Second Advent) this year. He will not return until the end of the tribulation (except for the rapture which occurs before.)
The wonderful application of all of this is that Messiah will begin to appear to the Jews now, this year, as the veil of spiritual blindness is lifted. This brings them into peace with God. This continues and increases through the tribulation.
What the Jews need to see and will begin to in ever increasing numbers from this year, is the dove of peace, the Holy Spirit, descending and alighting on their Messiah as it did at His baptism (Matthew 3:16.)
Baptism represents death and resurrection to new life as a work of the “dove” of resurrection life, the Holy Spirit. My Jewish friends, you need to die to your old ideas and beliefs and be raised into glorious resurrection life.
Yes, this is the year of the olive leaf in the doves mouth for you (representing Messiah), but you need to see the dove on your Jewish Messiah’s shoulder! Do not follow the raven!
The sign-less church:
Bible prophecy constitutes 27% of the Bible. If you leave it out, your gospel is incomplete. It is then a dangerous deception in these days.
Matthew 16:3 “...Hypocrites, you know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.”
Today most churches avoid Bible prophecy and the signs of the times. These ministers who are really wolves behind the pulpit are dooming and blinding their sheep to the domain of dark doctrine and the shallows of spiritual blindness, dead letter and superficiality.
In fact the Bible says that if you, as a man of God, do not warn the people of coming catastrophe, their blood will be upon your shoulders. (Ezekiel 33:6)
I wonder how much blood the wolves behind some pulpits have on their hands. Can you see their bloody hands? I can!
To have no prophetic insight, knowledge or understanding in this day, means you are blind in the face of immeasurable danger!
Some signs to look for now:
Daniel 12:8-10 “I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, ‘My Lord, what shall be the end of these things’? And He said go your way Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end...When the wise shall understand.”
Note and understand from the verse above that there are specific signs for this time period, in spite of the great majority of churches being silent on them!
In looking for signs, keep your foremost focus on seeking our Lord first. In looking for signs, keep tuned into the Spirit of the Lord. Let things go that don’t add up in your heart.
● Watch and know what is happening in the Middle East now, particularly Syria and Iraq. Watch for Russia’s actions and military movements in the region. These are all consistent with the prophecies of WW111 in Ezekiel 38 & 39.
● Watch for the involvement of Israel in any of these conflict zones. It is coming according to prophecy.
● Watch for development around the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Watch for events leading to a rebuilt temple.
● Watch for European and United Nations actions against Israel, Jerusalem and the Jews.
Zechariah 8:2 “I will return to Zion with great zeal; with great fervour (Lit=fury and rage). I am zealous for her,’ the city of truth, the mountain of the Lord, the holy mountain.
Other verses describe Jerusalem as: A city not forsaken, the city David, the city of God, the city of righteousness, the city of the great king, the city of perfect beauty, the joy of the whole earth.
Put that lot in your pipe and smoke it, stupid UNESCO!
Watch for the dome of fire!
The central sign-rich stage is the Middle East. Then we zoom in to Israel, Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. This must be our primary place of prophetic interest.
In all these things look primarily for signs of the soon coming of our Lord, by rapture before the tribulation begins. Its fine to look for coming tribulation events, but that should always be secondary, because they will be after the rapture.
I took this picture of a curious giraffe in the early morning light, in the Kruger Park.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
