Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
Signs of numerous times:
Biblical signs are designed to draw people in to the kingdom of God and to our grand Messiah. They are not designed to promote the pomp of pastors and teachers. Biblical signs will get the attention of some and others will never respond or believe.
Far too many teachers use signs which are not true signs to elevate themselves.
Signs do not take the place of the Holy Spirit who is the primary agent in these things.
True biblical signs can be very exciting indeed.
But don’t go overboard looking for signs everywhere. Your faith is much more important.
There are signs relating to almost every subject of the Bible:
There are numerous signs of the times we are in now. There are signs of The Lord’s coming, signs of the coming tribulation, signs of the veracity of the Bible itself, and of false prophets, teachers and deception. There are examples of erroneous signs, and signs of biblical truth. We see signs of the antichrist arising and many signs of anti-Semitism and replacement theology in the world and the church.
They are all there if you honestly look for them, led by the Spirit. Signs are really for those who want to see! If you genuinely encounter the Spirit of God, He will firstly cause you to repent. If you really see the true signs, you will repent.
Signs presented as from the Lord, which fail, are in themselves a sign - a sign of a false teacher. These failed signs instead of causing repentance cause mocking, scoffing doubt, discouragement, disbelief and falling away! (Deuteronomy 18:21-22, Jeremiah 23:30-32)
Great discernment is needed in these things, it’s no small issue!
Micah 3:6-7 (Amp) “It shall be night to you and you shall have no vision, yes it shall be dark without divination (comprehension) and the sun shall go down on the false prophets...and the seers shall be put to shame...for there is no answer from the Lord.”
Jeremiah 14:14 “The Lord said to me, ‘The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I have not sent them...”
Signs and Israel:
Isaiah 8:18 “...We are for signs and wonders in Israel, from the Lord.”
The greatest sign is Israel’s journey to salvation, and yet most can’t see it at all! They think it’s just the normal progression of history.
We are now, even within the next few weeks, at the point where signs for Israel are about to break and come into play. (1 Corinthians 1:22)
Of course regular readers know just how it will work out in the end:
Isaiah 66:19 “I will set a sign among them (Jews)...they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles.”
Funny things this: The world calls the Palestinian territories the “occupied territories.” But have a look at the verse below and see what God says!
Deuteronomy 1:8 “See I have set the land before you; go in and possess (Lit=occupy) the land which the Lord swore to your fathers – to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give to them and to their descendents after them.”
Other verses show that these areas to be occupied by Israel are in fact today’s so-called West Bank, Jordan Valley and surrounds.
So, Netanyahu promises to annex these very areas, and the world comes against it!
Beware of disinformation and collusion alliances! These are the methods of the media to entrap you.
Bible teachers today, more than ever, need to be full of great truth. The secret key is to teach the full gospel as led by the Spirit. (Hebrews 6:1-2) If you do it will contain within it a powerful method of checking. It will show Israel is: ●Elected ●Rebelled ●Rejected ●Regathered ●Repented ●Accepted.
Any doctrine that does not include all of the above bullet points, in that order is suspect!
Today many teachers stop short at “Rejected.” You can hear them and tell them a long way off. They make derogatory remarks about Israel and her fall and never have any good thing to say about what is coming for Israel. Their teaching will not bear witness in your heart. Obey that still small voice.
When the Jews come to spiritual life, it will be a great sign for the world and in fact for themselves also. It will be “Life from the dead!” (Romans 11:15)
When you are fully surrendered to our great King and Lord, everything in your life’s doing goes through the cross and is approved by our enthroned King. When not, life is a hit and miss affair founded on all that is shifting and shaking, surrendered to your own pride!
►Psalm 82:5 “They do not know, nor do they understand; they walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are unstable (Lit=moving).”
Proverbs 4:19 "The way of the wicked is like darkness, they do not know what makes them stumble."
The great shaking is beginning. We see it as we look at the sudden deterioration of law and order, morality and political chaos in the world. World war is on the horizon. Will you be able to stand securely, if we are not snatched out of here before?
Will you be able to help others see and stand in these days?
Edition 345: January 4th 2016
The Three Wars of WW111
The Three Wars of WW111
Most Bible prophecy teachers believe that the yet–to-be fulfilled prophesied wars of Isaiah 17 dealing with the destruction of Damascus, the war of Psalm 83 and the war of Gog and Magog are separate events, because the nations involved are different.
I agree that what I’m going to present to you now can’t be cast in stone, but I have compelling and surprising evidence that is going to change the way many have looked at these wars before. What I’ve done for your benefit, is gone back to all the verses including the parallel verses and studied them afresh, including word studies.
I am not presenting this as “new exclusive revelation”. It is food for contemplation. If you want to keep to the regular view...well and good.
We are all going to find out very soon anyway! A major purpose of this edition is to motivate you to get ready in heart and knowledge and be ready.
►Did you know that the gematria of the words “Gog and Magog” in Hebrew have the numerical value of 70? Did you know that the Torah speaks of 70 nations making up the world after the destruction of Babylon? Did you know that 70 nations are meeting in France on January 15th over the issue of ownership of Jerusalem and peace in the Middle East?
Did you know that the number 70 in the Bible means perfect spiritual order, but also means judgment and captivity, being associated with it in numerous places? The story is HERE.
Good luck France – you are going to need it...you’re about to run headlong into the fury of God!
Can these three wars be the same event?
The Bible often makes reference to one event by different authors in different books of the Bible. It’s like newsmen at an event. They see the same thing, but from different perspectives.
What if these three wars are one and the same, just seen differently by the different authors?
If these three wars are the same, it gives us a clear idea of when it will happen. It also sheds some new light on which nations will be involved. It also shows us just how close we are.
Why have the three wars been seen as separate events?
Psalm 83: This war has been traditionally seen as a separate event occurring some time before the fall of Damascus and the Magog war. The reason cited is that the nations of the Psalm 83 war are not found in the other wars.
The nations mentioned in the Psalm 83 war are: Edom and the Ishmaelites. The people of Moab, Ammon, Philistia, Tyre and Assyria. In modern terms, these are the nations of Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and an inclusive reference to the Palestinians, which by extension would be Hamas, Hezbollah and others.
Some of these will also be in the war of Gog and Magog, but Ezekiel extends it much further:
Ezekiel 38:6 (Magog) “...and many nations with you.” Verse 9: “...you and your troops and many nations with you.”
The Damascus war also includes many other nations:
Isaiah 17:12 “Woe to the multitude of many people who make a noise like the roar of the seas, and to the rushing of nations, that make a noise like the rushing of many waters.”
My point is, we can’t be totally dogmatic on the nations involved in these wars. The revealed nations are the major players, but as we have seen, they all include a great mixture of other nations.
You can’t eliminate nations, because they are not mentioned by name, when they may be implied in the general “many nations”.
Some teach that the Psalm 83 war was fulfilled in the “War of Independence” in 1948. You can apply some of it to that war, but when studying the passage, you see it is still in the future. This war ends this way: Psalm 83:16-18 “Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name O Lord...that men may know that You, whose name alone is Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.”
This implies that many of the participating Arab nations will seek the Lord and be found by Him at the end. This is a parallel with Isaiah 19:25, where many Arab nations get saved.
The participants of the Damascus war:
Let’s have a look at one of the parallel verses to Isaiah 17, which is the main chapter on the Damascus war. Amos 1:5-17 sheds additional light on this war.
Amos 1:5 “I will break the gate of Damascus and cut off the inhabitants from the valley of Aven and the one who holds the sceptre from Beth Eden. The people of Syria shall go captive to Kir, says the Lord.” Verses 7-8: “I will send fire on the wall of Gaza. The remnant of the Philistines (modern day Palestinians) shall perish, says the Lords.” Verse 13 “For the transgressions of Ammon (Palestinians today) I will not turn away its punishment...because they tried to enlarge their territory.”
So the Bible says that Syria will go captive to Kir. There are two possibilities for “Kir” One is a small outpost in Jordan and the other is a larger area in Iran with its city called Kerman.
If Syria is to go captive to Kir, it is very likely that it is Iran. Today, Iran, Syrian, Russia and all of these surrounding nations are in play.
So when the Damascus war comes to its bitter end, Amos places Iran as the final captor.
This means that the Damascus war could be part of the great Magog war, because Iran (Persia) is very much part of it.
If this is the case it also means that the entire inclusive conflict will begin before the tribulation begins or just into it, due to the seven-year clean up period. (See further down)
Ammon is in Jordan, but by extension includes many of the Palestinian people.
Some of these nations are also present in the war of Magog. Bear in mind that the Bible doesn’t have to name every nation. A huge horde of nations are implied in the term “And many nations with them.”
Bear in mind that the Damascus war has to place it at the end of these wars, because it is “never to rise again”. It can’t be destroyed, never to rise again, and then rise again to participate in either Psalm 83 or Magog.
The causes of the three wars, collectively called WW111:
War 1: Psalm 83:4 “Let us cut them off (Israel) from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
Psalm 83: 12 “Let us seize for our own use these pasturelands of God.”
War 2: Isaiah 17:14 (Damascus) “This is the portion (destruction) of those who plunder us and the lot of those who rob us.”
War 3: Ezekiel 38:12 “You will come to take plunder, to take booty (spoil)...to take livestock and goods. Verse 13: “To take silver and gold.”
So, now we see similarities between the causes of all three wars.
As we all well know, Israel is in the firing line now. It is greatly despised by many nations, but why? The Bible calls it an “ancient hatred.”
Israel is rich with economic abundance as well as being the bread-basket of the world in many respects. Israel has turned the desert into a fertile field! (Isaiah 35:1-2)
Most of Israel’s surrounding nations are in abject poverty especially as far as agriculture goes. They would love to get their hands on this abundance.
But there is a greater cause for the wars.
Ezekiel 35:5-6 “Because you (Arabs / Palestinians) have an ancient hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, when their iniquity came to an end. Therefore, as I live, says the Lord God, I will prepare you for blood and blood will pursue you...”
Please note the timing of this ancient hatred. It manifests during the time of Israel’s “calamity” and when their “iniquity comes to an end.” This is in the tribulation period, but may begin beforehand. Either way it’s not hard to see that it is now or close to it.
We can easily understand the first revealed cause of WW111, which is to take over the economic wealth and agricultural abundance of Israel. But the second cause, which is to destroy Israel, is a bit more involved. It stems from the Arab / Palestinian / mass-media’s “ancient hatred.”
This hatred for the Jews includes resistance to their God-given covenant ownership of all of the land of Israel. The so-called “occupation” and the so-called “settlements” are the fuse that will set WW111 ablaze.
You see, a nation can’t just go in and claim the spoils of produce, economic wealth and agriculture without a good reason. The lie of the occupation is the very smoke-screen reason! (I’ll deal with this in greater depth in the next edition.)
The poverty of attacking Arab nations is also a reason. They may have oil wealth, but that’s the end of it. Russia is also pretty close to economic collapse and most certainly, food poverty.
Nothing is new! It’s the “eternal Arab hatred” and jealousy for God’s blessing on the Jews. It’s the hatred for God’s choice. It’s the conflict of the ages between God and Satan. It’s the satanic empowerment of the mass-media. It’s because the Jewish Messiah will soon come to Jewish Jerusalem! It’s because so many of the riches of the world, including the Bible came to us through the Jews.
This everlasting and ancient hatred must be seen in light of the contraposition of the everlasting and ancient covenants and promises of God to the Jews and their land and Jerusalem.
The mystery of the seven-year clean-up:
The Great war of Gog and Magog contains a mysterious seven-year clean up after the war.
Ezekiel 39:9 “Those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons...and they will make fires with them for seven years.”
Here we are told that the clean up after the war will take seven years. The weapons are burnt, implying that there may have been some sort of contamination or residue upon them. The point is that the seven-year clean-up would not likely extend into the Millennium. In other words the war does not take place at the end of the tribulation period as many believe, but right at the beginning.
The war could and most probably will occur just before the tribulation begins. This would also “allow” the other two wars to be part of it.
Bear in mind that the clean-up takes seven years not the war. The war itself may be very short in duration.
This war could in fact be the subject or part of the subject of the Daniel 9:27 peace agreement.
I agree that there are many characteristics of this war that appear to indicate that it is a tribulation period war. It may end up being so, but I doubt it because of this seven-year clean-up.
This war is found in Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39. Bear in mind that in the original there are no chapter headings or division. This means that the war comes right after Ezekiel 37. This chapter is referred to as the “dry bones” chapter, in which the Jewish people begin to come to life spiritually. It is also when they are restored to their land and the “tabernacle” (temple) is set up.
The Jews are beginning to come to life spiritually right now. Yes there is a way to go, but these things can and will happen quickly. The Jews are back in their land and have been since 1948. Again the 2nd Exodus is far from complete, but it is on the go now. We still await the Temple, but that also could happen quickly and is already all over the Israeli media.
So it looks like many ducks are in a row already!
And what of Donald Trump?
In previous editions, I’ve said that the US may be indicated in the prophecy of Ezekiel 38:13. It speaks of nations called Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish and the young lions, implying that they are allies of Israel in this conflict, coming against those coming to “take plunder”.
“Sheba” is Saudi Arabia today, “Dedan” is Yemen and the “merchants of Tarshish” were people from Spain who traded fabrics and other products with what is today Britain. The lion is the symbol of Britain, so the “young lions” would be the commonwealth nations, including the USA.
There are already many signs of softening relations between Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Israel. This also implies that Donald Trump is walking onto the stage as an ally of Israel just at the right time!
Don’t go overboard on these identifications, but they are most certainly food for thought, and a bit more than speculation.
So who is the aggressor?
The media keeps telling the ignorant and uniformed, that it’s all the fault of the Jews and they are the aggressors. But the Bible reveals the opposite.
Joel 3:19 “Egypt shall be a desolation and Edom a desolate wilderness, because of violence against the people of Judah, for they have shed innocent blood in their land.”
The verse above is most important. It identifies Egypt, which is still the same today, but also “Edom” which is present day Jordan. It is also the root of many of the Palestinians today. So we can say that it refers to the Palestinian Arabs. The verse says that they (Palestinians) have shed innocent blood (Jews) in the land of Israel.
Psalm 137:7 “Remember O Lord against the sons of Edom, (Arabs / Palestinians) the day of Jerusalem, who said, ‘raze it, raze it, to its very foundations.’”
The Palestinian people today can trace their identity back to the people of Ishmael, those of the “house of Esau”, those of Edom, Ammon, and those of the Amalek peoples.
Bear in mind that there is no actual real Palestinian people. They came from numerous Arab nations, including Egypt. There never was a Palestinian state called Palestine with its own flag, national identity, language, currency and all the other things that constitute a nation state.
When the land of Israel was briefly called “Palestine” it was under the British mandate and Jewish ownership.
This is the year of WW111. It is also the year of world war against the truth.
The world has become immune to the shocking scenes of daily destruction in the cities of Syria. It seems that very little will shake the world out of their comfort zones and complacency. But beware! The Lord will begin to shake everything that can be shaken very soon. (Hebrews 12:26)
Prophecy watchers need to be full of the knowledge of God’s word and always ready for our Lord to reveal new things or aspects of prophecy as they unfold.
In a number of previous editions, I’ve suggested, always cautiously, that these wars may run into each other.
Some additional characteristics of WW111:
Ezekiel 38:16 speaks of the Magog war taking place in the “latter days” That does not mean the very end of the tribulation at the Second Coming. Ezekiel 38:19 speaks of a great earthquake in the region rocking the entire world including the fish, birds, beasts around the world occurring during this war. Some interpret this to be one and the same earthquake spoken of at the Second Coming.
But the word used here is not the normal word for an earthquake. This word should be translated, “a great shaking” This could also be a result of nuclear war. This war will affect the whole world; it does not mean a literal earthquake that will rock the whole world.
The original word used is “Raash” sometimes translated as “fierce commotion”, “great shaking and trembling”, “great confusion” and sometimes “earthquake.” The context suggests the previous words and not “earthquake.”
There will of course be many great intense earthquakes in the tribulation period.
If the word is a literal earthquake it presents some problems. Firstly, it occurs in the Middle East. How do you get an earthquake in that region to devastate the whole world including the fish, the vegetation and so on? The fall-out from a world nuclear war and its great shaking fits the bill much better.
Be careful out there:
Exactly when this Great War, WW111 takes place is not the central issue. Whether the three wars are one or separate again, is not the central issue. The big issue is the causes! It is really terrible news for the Arabs / Palestinians as a whole, but what about you?
Do you know that the Bible shows that we ain’t seen nuttin yet in terms of worldwide anti-Semitism and the fullness of replacement theology in the church?
Do you know that all the nations in the world will finally come against Jerusalem (Zechariah12:3)? This means that a great many people will end up turning against God, making war with Him!
Do you know that if you are not secure in the Lord, this may become the greatest deception ever, sweeping millions of Christians into the devils anti-Semitic and replacement theology camp?
They will fill the tribulation period with people of terror and great regret.
An outpouring of satanic spirits of error and deception will find a home in the hearts of all who are ignorant and arrogant.
►Ignorance of God’s word is the field full of satanic seeds. Arrogance is the drought that dries up all understanding of God’s ways and word.
As the 2nd Exodus gains momentum and comes to its completion in the salvation of the Jews, so the Exodus gains momentum of believers from the truth! We are already in a world war against truth!
As millions of Jews soon get saved, ushering in the Second Coming, so Satan will kill millions in these wars.
These three wars may end up being one and the same. If so, it’s soon – very soon. If not they will still be near enough to each other to spoil your whole day.
The cause of the war is the ancient hatred of anti-Semitism arising to devastating proportions, and their desire to kill, steal and destroy Israel’s blessings. Many ordinary people, the man in the street – many streets, will be swept away into the great deceptions that will surround these wars.
Don’t be one of them. Keep off the streets! My friends we are about to enter spiritually charged days like never before. It is time to know your God, His word and His way, and just where His blessings lie.
I took this picture of a family of Saddlebill Storks in the Okavango Delta, Botswana.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
