|This ministry has a distinct kingdom, Messianic vision, identifying with God’s call and plan for the Jewish people and the church. My position is pre-trib! Personally: I was saved in 1976 while working as a war correspondent, journalist, photographer, artist and environmentalist. My calling is to share these great end-time dramas, to stand as a watchman and above all, to glorify my God.|

Amos 9:15 “I will plant them (Israel) in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord God.”
Isaiah 41:11 “Behold all those who were incensed against you (Israel) shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.”
Isaiah 44:18 “They do not know nor understand; for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their hearts so they cannot understand.”
Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
The tree-huggers delight:
The Bible uses plants, trees, colours, animals, birds, numbers and more to describe people and nations. It is the subliminal symbols that are of great significance and meaning, especially in relation to Israel.
Did you realise that the entire course of Israel’s history is plotted in the trees? There is much more to these symbols and metaphors - for another time.
Here are some amazing messages blowing in the wind, relating to Israel.
►The Olive tree: (Romans 11)
These trees have very deep, well established roots. They are sometimes called eternal trees, because they are so hardy; they live for many thousands of years. An ancient olive tree appears to die, but then miraculously, new shoots appear out of the dead wood continuing its existence.
The olive tree produces a rich olive oil which has numerous uses, but is also a type of the Holy Spirit. Olive oil is required to keep the temple menorah flames burning. This symbolises light. Olive tree leaves are symbols of peace. Remember the dove bringing back an olive branch to the ark after the flood of judgement.
The root of the olive tree is symbolic of God Himself. The root is called, “holy.”
Biblically, there are two olive trees of importance. The natural olive tree, is symbolic of Israel, and the wild olive tree, is symbolic of the church. The wild olive branch was “grafted” into the natural olive tree, thus partaking of the goodness of the root.
The national emblem of Israel includes two olive branches.
An ancient olive tree grove:
►The Fig tree:
The fig tree is symbolic of spiritual fruitfulness after severe pruning or judgement. It relates to Israel in the tribulation period, awakening to spiritual life.
The fig tree is unique in that its blossoms appear before the leaves. It should have fruit appearing before the leaves. This is why our Lord cursed the unfruitful fig tree, causing it to die. The root was not destroyed though, and a new tree full of fruit, is about to appear.
When the disciples asked out Lord what would be the sign of His coming, He listed a number of judgements to fall on the world. But one of these was the sign of the fig tree.
Matthew 24:32-34 “learn the parable of the fig tree: When is branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So also you when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the very doors. Assuredly, I say to you, ‘this generation (of Jews) will be no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled.’”
Present day Zionism and the awakening of the Jews, as well as modern anti-Semitism are signs of the fig tree putting forth leaves and about to produce much spiritual fruit.
►The Almond tree:
The almond is the first tree to flower in its season, which at the end of winter. The flower has five petals to it, five being the number of grace. The temple menorah, a symbol of light, has oil cups or containers in the shape of almond flowers.
The Hebrew word for “almond” is “shakeid” which also means to “awake” and “watch”.
The almond is symbolic of Messiah’s resurrection. It speaks of the supernatural power of God as seen in Aaron’s almond branch that budded in one day. (Numbers 17:8)
Jeremiah 1:11-14 “The word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ I said, ‘I see the branch of an almond tree.’ Then the Lord said, ‘you have seen well for I am about to perform My word.’ And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, ‘what do you see? And I said, a boiling pot and it is facing away from the north.’ Then the Lord said to me: ‘Out of the north calamity shall break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.’”
The message here is that as the almond (Israel) flowers and buds she will be plunged into the tribulation period.
Jeremiah 31:28 “It shall come to pass that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy and to afflict them, so I will watch over them to build and plant says the Lord. In those days they shall say no more, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes...’”
Psalm 80:8-9 “You have brought a vine out of Egypt, You have cast out the nations and planted it. You prepared room for it, and caused it to take deep root and it filled the land.”
This vine, Israel, is described as “the choicest vine.” But it is a vine that also has within it a “winepress.” (Isaiah 5:1-2) The “winepress” speaks of the crushing tribulation to come!
God planted Israel as a “noble vine” of the highest quality, yet it became an alien, degenerate vine. This speaks of Israel's rebellion to Messiah. (Jeremiah 2:21)
As with the olive and the fig tree, the vine will bear its good fruit in its time, which is just around the corner!
►Other trees symbolic of Israel:
Joel 1:12 (Context: Israel is invaded in the tribulation period) “The vine has dried up and the fig tree has withered; and the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree. All the trees of the field have withered. Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
But we know that Israel's story does not end in the tribulation. Joy will return.
The Cedar: Symbol of power, royalty and majesty. The Oak: Symbol of strength and stability. The Palm: Symbol of military victory and victory in Messiah. The Pomegranate: Symbol of abundance and joyfulness. The Acacia: Symbol of beauty. The Myrtle: Symbol of God’s favour and blessing.
The grand summary:
Israel is: Deeply rooted in God with an eternal future. Israel contains the light-producing oil of the Spirit of God and soon will be Messiah’s light of the world! Israel will be at peace soon. The church is a “wild” family member of Israel through our joint root in God. Israel will become fully fruitful after pruning. Israel’s ripening fruit is a sign of Messiah’s coming. Israel will bud and come to life supernaturally in a day and then bring the light of salvation to the Gentile world. Israel will go through the winepress of tribulation, be attacked from the north and fall under calamity, because she was the choicest, noble vine and yet gave herself to paganism. (Baal) Finally Israel will fulfil God’s call and plan in power, majesty and strength, abundance, and blessing.
All of this is revealed in the nature of this forest of trees, and the corresponding Bible verses. How can you not be a tree-hugger!
Edition 358: April 5th 2017.
The Incredible Journey:
The Incredible Journey:
Before we begin this edition, in an upcoming edition, I have some very exciting revelations from our Lord to share with you about the rapture. It is surprising and wonderfully glorious!
“A tree is known by its fruit!” But the tree must be cut down! “The axe must be laid at the root of the tree,” says the Bible.
In this edition I want to take you on an incredible journey. We will go from death to life to glory!
Many are on the journey already, but too many are chasing the wind with no set purpose in life.
Many are in the “valley of decision” and many have just started their journey. Many others need an understanding of some of the majestic miracles of the believer’s walk in faith with our Lord.
Once you are truly born-again of the Spirit of God, by the blood of Messiah and the work of His cross, you must be adult-baptised in water by full immersion, - you must be baptised in the Spirit, and you must set your heart to “study the word, and show yourself approved unto God.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
The journey begins:
Our incredible journey begins the wrong way around from the world’s perspective. It begins with death and moves on to life and then heaven.
We are told in the Bible to lose our life to find true life. To take up our cross daily, to die daily, to fall on this Rock, and be broken!
But, here now is the great holy contradiction: We are told in the Bible that we already have “abundant life,” that we are “seated in heavenly places now.” We are told that we are “more than conquerors and joint heirs of all things, complete in Him”.
We are born-again into the perfection of God. We are “complete in Him” from the moment we are truly saved. But this relates to our spiritual position in Him. In the temporal, soulish and bodily realms, nothing changed at the new birth.
This is where self-denial, cross-bearing and life-losing comes into play.
That’s the unique and glorious thing about our salvation. We are made new, 100% perfect in spiritual rebirth and then, we work that pure salvation from the inside to the outside.
All other religions (including counterfeit Christianity) work the other way around. You are required to become right with God from the outside in. That’s why they all produce the fruits of failure.
The incredible journey:
There are two most important journeys for us to consider. One is inward and the other is outward. The inward journey is far more important for us at this stage, and will affect the outward journey later on, which we actually can do nothing about.
Let’s have a rather unusual look into our journeys, by looking deeply into ourselves.
If the unbeliever could see into spiritual things with his eyes, he would look into himself and see only the common, sin-soaked red blood of Adam, forever cursed, which he can never get rid of.
Only the pure blood of a sin-free sacrifice can purify it.
Satan is the author of all sin. He can never be appeased, always demanding more until he consumes his victim.
Biblically, red is the colour of sin, death, fire, hell.
The unbeliever now looks even deeper into himself, and he sees the numbers six and four. Six is the number of man under sin and four is the number of the world. Four is also the number of Adam and the number of blood.
Forever stamped on the doomed unbeliever’s forehead is Adam, sin and the world! He can’t shake it off. It’s right there, even though the mirror won’t show it. He is on his journey to hell.
The poor unbeliever sits doomed, trying to be good, trying to be a better person, thinking that some angry God is going to smile on him because at least he tried to be good. But his good is as doomed as he is because he can’t get rid of his cursed red blood and his cursed numbers six and four.
I once heard someone say: “If only I could get away from my life!”
Now, here comes the true, born-again believer and he looks into himself, and his spiritual eyes see blue blood! Blue is the colour of royalty and kingship, divinity and heaven.
As he looks even deeper, he sees pure, beautiful sapphire-blue blood change to blood of gold. Gold is the colour associated in the Bible with God, refinement, wisdom, truth, authority, anointing, holiness and rest. Then, deeper still and he sees pure, shining, glorious white!
Deeper still and the believer sees with spiritual eyes, the numbers eight and seven, eternally, invisibly stamped on his forehead. Eight is the number of resurrection and seven is the number of spiritual perfection.
So, what happened? How did the believer’s blood lose its curse, become pure and holy, and how did he shake off those cursed numbers six and four, and acquire the divine numbers of eight and seven?
Well, glad you asked. He died! Yes he did. He died and was raised a new creation, with old things passed away! It is the work of the cross that kills you dead, and raises you to glorious new life. As the believer dies and is born-again, the curse in his blood and those cursed numbers disappear, albeit positionally at this stage of the journey.
Let’s have a look at some strange creatures:
Do you know what the “tola” is? Do you know what the “Chillazon” is?
►Psalm 22:6 “I am a worm (tola) and not a man, a reproach of men, despised of the people.”
The normal Hebrew word for a “worm” is “rimmah,” but here the word used is “tola.” This word means “crimson scarlet” – the colour of blood. This rare, rather odd worm clings to a tree in its death and oozes its crimson red blood, staining the tree. Three days later the red blood solidifies into a pure white permanent stain. Say no more!
Isaiah 1:18 “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.”
►The stripes of the prayer shawl (Tallit) and the tzitzi (tassels) are stained with a beautiful royal, sapphire blue. In Bible days this royal blue was attained by crushing a particular Mollusc with blue blood called the “Hillazon”, also spelt “Chillazon.”
After the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, this mollusc disappeared into extinction. The Rabbis then permitted the stripes of the tallits to be stained with black dye.
Only in recent years, the mollusc has reappeared in the shores of the Mediterranean. Some believe it’s a sign of the soon coming of the Messiah.
Do these sea shells on the sea shore tell a prophetic story? Is this a prophetic sign of things to come?
When I bought my new tallit about a year ago, I recall looking all over for one that had this particular blue dye in the stripes with alternating gold stripes. I finally found one that cost almost as much as a blue Ferrari! It was one of the best things I ever bought!
This is the royal blue which the Bible commands the garment of the High Priest to be stained with.
If you look into yourself with spiritual eyes and see blue blood, and you see seven and eight on your forehead, you are qualified for the outward stage of the journey. That is the journey to heaven, and in fact to co-rule and reign with our Lord in the entire universe and all its worlds – for eternity.
The Great Escape:
Our incredible journey includes the much hated great escape – the rapture! As the world runs out of the grace of God, the wrath of God will begin. This is when we as true believers are snatched, grabbed and yanked right out of the world in an atomic flash!
Critics of the rapture (the real dumb ones) always say, “O, that’s just escapism.”
Here are just a few “escape” stories and promises:
●Noah escaped the flood. (Genesis 7:13-17)
●Lot escaped the fiery fury of God in Sodom and Gomorrah. (Genesis 19:16)
●Enoch escaped the flood too. (Genesis 5:24)
●“He delivers us from the wrath to come.” (1 Thessalonians 1:10)
●”I will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world...” (Revelation 3:10)
●“Watch and pray that you may be found worthy to escape these things.” (Luke 21:36)
Here are two verses speaking of those who won’t escape:
●1 Thessalonians 5:3 “When they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes...and they shall not escape.”
●Hebrews 12:25 “See that you do not refuse Him who speaks, for if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on the earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven.”
Our great escape places us neatly in heaven for the duration of the tribulation on earth – how wonderful is that?
Spare a thought though for all those who could have escaped, but will soon sit in great regret, filled with anguish, grief, sorrow and heartache!
Are you worthy to escape?
Those who go in the rapture will be those who are truly born of the Spirit of God. In other words - all true Christians / believers.
Romans 8:14-16 “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the children of God...The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.”
1 John 5:4 “Those who are born of God overcome the world”.
Please remember that there is also a separate category of believers who are set apart for special favour. These are those who are found written in the “Book of Remembrance”, these people will obviously also be found in the “Lambs Book of Life.”
Here is the glorious “book of remembrance” and the conditions to be found in it (in bold):
Malachi 3:16 “Those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them, so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His word.”
Some people get so mad when you speak to them about their morality. They’ll be your great friend in all things, until the morality issue comes up then they’ll turn on you like a viper. That’s when you really see what they’re made of, and what sort of person they are.
The coming world of glory will be a world that has gone through judgement! It will be pure and holy in all its ways. It will be full of His holy majesty. For it is the judgement of God that will have made it so!
Do see that the judgement of God is a good and glorious thing.
God’s creation is utterly beautiful and what is coming will be so beautiful in all respects, that we can’t even imagine it – you should be a lover of all things holy, pure, righteous and beautiful.
My friends, we are on an incredible journey of great expectations and great adventures, leaving the common people behind! If you are saved, you are not common! We are on a pilgrimage and a quest for greatness in eternity.
March on and make your days count for our Lord and for eternity. (Psalm 90:12)
The Great Adventures:
This is yours truly (above) at seven years old. You can see that I developed a love for great adventures a long time ago! In fact it was this very passion that led me to become a journalist / photographer with various media around the world, experiencing some very exciting, wild times!
My love for great adventures was most certainly what inspired my interest and love for eschatology once I was saved. The same passion led me to a love for God’s word for all things related to Israel.
As far back as I can remember, I was always moved by what moved people. I wanted to know what made them tick and kick and what motivated them to do the things they did. I was always fascinated with psychology and the “windmills of the mind.”
I always wanted to know what the purpose was of life, and what was over the horizon.
Only after I was saved and started to move forward with our Lord, did I begin to understand what the world is and who is behind it, and why the unsaved can’t even see their world for what it is.
“The world cannot receive Him because it neither sees Him nor knows Him” (John 14:17). The world through its wisdom did not know Him. (1 Corinthians 1:18.)
Here are some thoughts relating to modern man and his futile existence, which I have gleamed through many great adventures around the world.
People of this modern, instant, digital era are essentially lost, empty souls with shallow minds. They are the living dead; darkened - with no true enlightenment. Their attempt to rule their lives is a futile, directionless, valueless attempt to turn themselves into their own ill-conceived image of their god.
Their emptiness echoes with the silent voices of hosts of invisible demons. They don’t live; they just exist. They pass the time, filling their lives with what is essentially nothingness.
Their worship of nothing is in fact the worship of Satan, as can be seen by the fruits of modern cultures, especially in Europe.
They have no borders, barriers or restraint in their morality and their lives in general.
They are self-made, of troubled, disturbed minds. Their lives are no different to that of a beautiful stone sculpture. Their modern despairing civilisation is characterised succinctly by “The Scream.”
They are living, walking idols – for destruction!
The modern world has the standards, variable values and virtues of the world’s man as their truth and the world’s god, as their guide.
They are one with unredeemed Adam. They have his sin-laced, blood in their veins. They are cursed along with their entire ‘respectable’ civilisation of doom.
Let me tell you that modern civilisation is as uncivilised as a savage. The same spirit lives in, and drives them. Modern civilisation is changing fast – very fast. It is getting worse all the time.
The history of civilisation has taught us one thing. – We don’t learn from the history of civilisation!
The Bible shows us the cause of the nightmare: People are “wilfully ignorant”. (2 Peter 3:5) One of Satan’s names is, “The wilful king!” If you want to become biblically wise, you must set your will to go His way, and be willing to pay the price.
Be very careful of allowing others to drag you into their doomed journey with them!
Imagine the shock of having the eyes of your understanding opened as you arrive at your journey’s eternal destiny – hell!
The great identity crisis:
If in your new identity as a Christian, you find it difficult to move forward, you are in desperate need of the cross. Give up trying and die! The application of the cross wipes out the old and generates new resurrection life – on the far side of the cross.
The only way you as a Christian can rid yourself of the inner conflict between the voices of your heart and your will, is to get rid of and silence one of them.
You can throw out the voice of God, who is calling you forward to perfection, or throw out the voice in your head telling you that you are right and God is wrong!
If you throw out the voice of God, you’re in for a big surprise and it won’t be a teddy bear’s picnic!
You must go through this identity crisis as soon after being saved as possible, and you must let it tear you apart and crush you. If you don’t, you will always be drawn up by God and down into the pits by the devil. You will be unstable, susceptible to deception and never be usable.
This great identity crisis gets to the root of you, and remakes you from the root up to the branches and to the fruit. The word “root” actually comes from the word “radix” from where we get the word radical! If you are not a radical Christian, you need to go and change your name to Half-Baked Harry.
Truth is the greatest friend you can have. It keeps you safe. Have you noticed that there are some people you just feel safe around and others you feel an uncomfortable disquiet when you’re with them?
To be double-minded is to be half crucified, half living, mixed with truth and error. It’s a dangerous journey into the bowels of evil. It begins with a small erroneous belief. The little error, then starts growing and it spreads.
That little error rejects correction. It then transfigures into a small spiritual monster. It then grows into a huge idol - owning, enveloping, engulfing and consuming the individual.
Once an idol has flourished in the heart of an individual, it’s very difficult to remove.
We are not on any old journey! We are on a journey to perfection! Our Lord says “Be perfect even as your heavenly father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)
Spirits can see that we are different. People can see it too. That’s why we are hated, and that’s why our Lord of love was hated!
My friends, once you have gone through this awkward Christian identity crisis, you enter a glorious leg of the journey. Your disputes with God and in your own mind are over, and you will fly high!
Peace is your new best friend.
Most people have a desire to know the future. They want to know what’s coming. They want to know where their journey is taking them. They make their plans accordingly. It’s no different in the bigger scheme of things.
The funny thing is that many traditional ministers of the gospel ridicule us who love and teach eschatology, which they don’t even mention.
But their flock want to know. They are hungry to know! They are being betrayed by their ministers!
My friend, eschatology is one of the most powerful, primary tools to motivate us to perfection. It’s a primary ingredient for a successful journey now and to come.
You need to get into an environment with other believers who are like-minded and open to the fullness of the truth, including all aspects of Bible-based doctrines, including eschatology.
Your eternal future, your reward-state, your position in the Kingdom of our great King and Lord is more important than you can imagine.
Much of the purpose of this edition is to help you to move forward with our Lord and to give you the strength to stand securely and to be well-prepared, so that you will never backslide or fall away in these days of increasing pressure.
We are on a glorious journey...it’s a glory-story, but there are many obstacles along the way in the form of error, doctrines of the world, and misdirected “truth.”
These are all words of life my friends.
This is a composite of a few of my photographs: A baobab tree, leaves and a lion. I merged them together and created some texture effects.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
