Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.
13th September 2019
Shabbat Shalom to all!
Signs of numerous times:
Biblical signs are designed to draw people in to the kingdom of God and to our grand Messiah. They are not designed to promote the pomp of pastors and teachers. Biblical signs will get the attention of some and others will never respond or believe.
Far too many teachers use signs which are not true signs to elevate themselves.
Signs do not take the place of the Holy Spirit who is the primary agent in these things.
True biblical signs can be very exciting indeed.
But don’t go overboard looking for signs everywhere. Your faith is much more important.
There are signs relating to almost every subject of the Bible:
There are numerous signs of the times we are in now. There are signs of The Lord’s coming, signs of the coming tribulation, signs of the veracity of the Bible itself, and of false prophets, teachers and deception. There are examples of erroneous signs, and signs of biblical truth. We see signs of the antichrist arising and many signs of anti-Semitism and replacement theology in the world and the church.
They are all there if you honestly look for them, led by the Spirit. Signs are really for those who want to see! If you genuinely encounter the Spirit of God, He will firstly cause you to repent. If you really see the true signs, you will repent.
Signs presented as from the Lord, which fail, are in themselves a sign - a sign of a false teacher. These failed signs instead of causing repentance cause mocking, scoffing doubt, discouragement, disbelief and falling away! (Deuteronomy 18:21-22, Jeremiah 23:30-32)
Great discernment is needed in these things, it’s no small issue!
Micah 3:6-7 (Amp) “It shall be night to you and you shall have no vision, yes it shall be dark without divination (comprehension) and the sun shall go down on the false prophets...and the seers shall be put to shame...for there is no answer from the Lord.”
Jeremiah 14:14 “The Lord said to me, ‘The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I have not sent them...”
Signs and Israel:
Isaiah 8:18 “...We are for signs and wonders in Israel, from the Lord.”
The greatest sign is Israel’s journey to salvation, and yet most can’t see it at all! They think it’s just the normal progression of history.
We are now, even within the next few weeks, at the point where signs for Israel are about to break and come into play. (1 Corinthians 1:22)
Of course regular readers know just how it will work out in the end:
Isaiah 66:19 “I will set a sign among them (Jews)...they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles.”
Funny things this: The world calls the Palestinian territories the “occupied territories.” But have a look at the verse below and see what God says!
Deuteronomy 1:8 “See I have set the land before you; go in and possess (Lit=occupy) the land which the Lord swore to your fathers – to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give to them and to their descendents after them.”
Other verses show that these areas to be occupied by Israel are in fact today’s so-called West Bank, Jordan Valley and surrounds.
So, Netanyahu promises to annex these very areas, and the world comes against it!
Beware of disinformation and collusion alliances! These are the methods of the media to entrap you.
Bible teachers today, more than ever, need to be full of great truth. The secret key is to teach the full gospel as led by the Spirit. (Hebrews 6:1-2) If you do it will contain within it a powerful method of checking. It will show Israel is: ●Elected ●Rebelled ●Rejected ●Regathered ●Repented ●Accepted.
Any doctrine that does not include all of the above bullet points, in that order is suspect!
Today many teachers stop short at “Rejected.” You can hear them and tell them a long way off. They make derogatory remarks about Israel and her fall and never have any good thing to say about what is coming for Israel. Their teaching will not bear witness in your heart. Obey that still small voice.
When the Jews come to spiritual life, it will be a great sign for the world and in fact for themselves also. It will be “Life from the dead!” (Romans 11:15)
When you are fully surrendered to our great King and Lord, everything in your life’s doing goes through the cross and is approved by our enthroned King. When not, life is a hit and miss affair founded on all that is shifting and shaking, surrendered to your own pride!
►Psalm 82:5 “They do not know, nor do they understand; they walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are unstable (Lit=moving).”
Proverbs 4:19 "The way of the wicked is like darkness, they do not know what makes them stumble."
The great shaking is beginning. We see it as we look at the sudden deterioration of law and order, morality and political chaos in the world. World war is on the horizon. Will you be able to stand securely, if we are not snatched out of here before?
Will you be able to help others see and stand in these days?
Edition 395: December 12th 2017.
Embassies of more nations are now announcing they are moving to Jerusalem, which is an act of recognition of the city as the capital of Israel. This does have huge implications prophetically. Do not neglect to read this entire edition. It is much more important than you may think!
Is this the beginning of the “shaking of all things” leading to the tribulation period, a peace covenant, the coming temple, and of course the rapture? It could be! It most certainly brings the entire end-time picture into focus, shining the spotlight on it, and thrusting it onto centre-stage.
The great awakening is gathering momentum!
What is happening now is the sceptre of wickedness, (Islam) over Jerusalem, the rod of its authority, is being broken. (Psalm 125:3) The nation born in a day – Israel, (Isaiah 66:8) and its eternal city is travailing before its spiritual birth. And before the male Child – Yeshua, arrives and begins His glorious work amongst the Jews.
Is your church enlightening you on these issues? If not, it’s high time to awaken to the Spirit of God, hear His word and do His will. Beloved brethren, these things are vitally important. Spiritual forces are at work and are intensifying even now!
You will overcome, or be overcome in these coming times! You must have a solid, strong foundation to stand in the coming storms.
End Time Jerusalem:
The recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is a landmark milestone, and watershed. It is the beginning of the end-time prophecy train. It is a great sign to be noted...a true sign of the times.
Amongst other things, it shines the spotlight on God’s truth and the veracity of His word. It identifies His enemies in the world and in the church and brings them out into the open!
The Trump decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has “doomed the peace process,” say the Palestinians, and many of their puppets, the world’s leaders. Actually, when you think about it they are quite right, but they won’t like what I’m about to say and neither will many churches!
The world-peace process is doomed! True godly peace is now coming – on the wings of the destruction of the world’s useless efforts to create Middle Eastern peace, and world peace, which flies in the face of God’s way to peace.
The name “Jerusalem” comes from two root words: “Jeru” and “Shalom”. Jeru means “king” and Shalom means “peace”. The Hebrew name: “Yerushalayim” means: “The foundation of peace”.
Jerusalem is referred to as “The city of God” in the Bible. (Psalm 46:4, Psalm 48:1-3)
Jerusalem is also referred to as the city of David in the Bible. (2 Samuel 5:7) David is a type of our Lord and Saviour.
Jerusalem is also referred to as the city of Zion in the Bible (1 Kings 8:1) “Zion” means fortification.
Jerusalem is also referred to as “the city of the Great King”, “the city of peace”, “and the stumbling stone of the nations” in the Bible.
If we put this lot together we have:
Jerusalem is the city of the King of peace, the foundation of peace, the city of God, the city of the Great King, the city of David, the city of Zion and the city over which the nations shall stumble! What sort of incredible city is this?
It is the city of huge prophetic significance in reality and in type.
God moved His Embassy to Jerusalem long ago!
God chose Jerusalem and He inscribed His name upon the city.
Isaiah 49:16 “See, I have inscribed you (Jerusalem) on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.”
But why did God place His “Embassy” in Jerusalem and why did He choose that old city?
Was it because the Jews are chosen and are special? Was it because that’s where so many biblical things occurred? Was it because the city itself is special?
No sir- none of the above!
Do you think the Jews are special? Here is what God thinks of His chosen people the Jews:
Jeremiah 17:1 “The sin of Judah (Jews) is written with a pen of iron, with the point of a diamond it is engraved on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altar.”
The “point of a diamond” in the verse above refers to the hardness of this engraving instrument, which also speaks of the hardness of Israel’s heart. This deadly pen does not write on paper or papyrus. It engraves on Jewish stone-hearts, and you can’t erase it! Or can you?
The cross of Messiah is the great eraser! It erases sin and re-writes lives. Now sins are re-written with invisible ink!
Jews – soon your sins which were like “scarlet will be white as snow” – invisible and erased! (Isaiah 1:18)
We have been “crucified with Messiah” and as such, we have a book containing clean, holy, indelible records, written with God’s diamond-tipped, fiery pen. Yes, God has been writing our autobiography every day of our lives with purity, light and truth! What a wonderful diary that will be for many!
We are the living epistles of God, known and read of all men, now and forever. (2 Corinthians 3:2)
The world has its doom written out with God’s diamond-tipped pen of fire. It is the “writing on the wall” declaring its destruction and soon-coming end. The world has no cross to erase this writing!
So, the sins of the Jews are seen by God just as they are for all others, there is no difference. God chose the Jews simply because that was His choice and He, in His foreknowledge, knew that the Jews would finally recognise Him and fulfil His calling and plan to take salvation to the nations.
2 Corinthians 5:20 “We are ambassadors for Messiah...We implore you, “Be reconciled to Messiah” (Jew and Gentile)
Ambassadors hang out in Embassies. We are the walking Embassies of God!
For us as believers, God has placed His name in our hearts by the new-birth, and Satan always tries to rip it out and destroy us.
Isn’t that just what is happening now in Israel?
God put His name In Jerusalem:
2 Chronicles 6:6 “I (God) have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people, My people – Israel.”
2 Chronicles 7:16 “Now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.”
2 Chronicles 33:4 “...The Lord said, My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”
When you put your name to something, you are imparting to it your authority. The Bible is Israel’s mandate and authority. If you reject that, Satan becomes Israel’s mandate for you, promulgated by the world and the world church.
The word “author” in the Bible is the same as the word for “authority.” The authority of any work is that of the author. So when we come to God’s prophetic word, we must remember that we are dealing with God’s own “breathed” word by His Spirit and that is the final authority!
God put His name in Jerusalem, with His authority, word and plan – exclusively!
What, do think God put His name in Jerusalem, but not His will and word? Do you think He put His name there with Muhammad’s? To believe that, you have to be stark raving mad in the head, or a member of the Emergent Church movement!
Because God put His name there by His authority, Satan tries to do the same:
Zechariah 3:2 “The Lord said to Satan, ‘The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you..!
1 Chronicles 21:1 “Now Satan stood up against Israel...”
Do you know why Satan stands against Israel? The answer below is indeed profound!
●Exodus 4:22 “Thus says the Lord: ‘Israel is My son, My firstborn.”
●Hosea 11:1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him...”
Why did God choose Jerusalem?
God chose Jerusalem to be home for the Jews returning to the land. He chose it because He knew the Jews would awaken to, and recognise Yeshua their Messiah and that they would then, in the tribulation period, take salvation to the Gentile nations of the world.
Zechariah 12:10 “I will pour on the House of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look upon Me whom they have pierced...”
Isaiah 28:16 “Behold, I lay in Zion (Jerusalem) a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation...”
But there’s a much more important and deeper reason why God chose Jerusalem.
He chose to put His name in our hearts as believers, in anticipation of our coming transformation and glorification. Jerusalem, in a sense, is in the same situation. God put His name there in anticipation of its future transformation into the glorious New Jerusalem – still to come!
Israel is still blind:
Many Jews and Christians are awakening to God’s great end-time plans, which will absolutely come to pass. “The Word cannot be broken.” (John 10:35)
But today most Jews, although positive about their land and city, can’t see why and what it’s all about.
Luke 19:42 “If you had known, even you (Jerusalem), especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now your peace (Shalom) is hidden from your eyes...because you did not know the time of your visitation.”
The “peace of Jerusalem” is still hidden from their eyes. They are still blinded by their sin.
Jeremiah 4:16-17 “Make mention to the nations yes, proclaim against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country and raise their voice against the cities of Judah. Like keepers of a field they are against her all around, because she has been rebellious against Me, says the Lord.”
But Israel will soon open her spiritual eyes, have her sins erased and be the world’s greatest evangelists!
Isaiah 62:6-7 “Watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem: Make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in all the earth.”
Jeremiah 33:16 “In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely, and this is the name by which she will be called: ‘The Lord our Righteousness’”
Today, people blindly follow the masses. They follow group speak, belief bias, crowd psychology, confirmation bias, and the collective consciousness of the doomed soon to be destroyed masses and their leaders the mass–media.
Many churches today follow the media’s advice and information and have written it into their stupid, band-wagon theology.
The whining, whimpering, wailing, snivel-drivel of the mass media is what influences the world. But God’s handwriting is on the wall! World, your gloomy - doom looms large!
Zechariah 12:3 “It shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away (move its boundaries) will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.”
Joel 3:2 “I will bring all nations down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgement with them there on account of My people Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have also divided up My land.”
The world thinks dividing and sharing the land and the city will bring peace. It will bring war and judgement.
The world thinks capitulation, compromise, placating, and appeasement is how to deal with terrorists and bring peace! How can that bring peace? They will not stop the terror. Throw them out!
Is peace coming to Jerusalem?
The answer is no and yes. In the short term, war is coming in the name of peace!
God’s word declares that His will is for the salvation of the Jews, in their land and in their city, after their return, and that will ultimately bring world peace – the Millennial age.
But Satan opposes that with war and destruction first.
In the longer term, the Prince of Peace is coming with great peace. That will be at the end of the tribulation period.
Satan has his name imbedded in Islam, and like a giant Trojan horse, he forces his way into Israel and Jerusalem by occupation!
But the real occupation is by God! All other “occupations” are illegitimate. The Palestinians have created a fantasy reality, believing that Israel and Jerusalem is theirs. Because the world is of the same god, it supports that in its blindness.
Peace the world’s way brings war with God. Peace God’s way brings Satan to war with God. Ask Babylon about that!
War is coming to Jerusalem well before peace:
Jeremiah 4:7-15-16 (Amp) “Behold the enemy comes up like the clouds, his chariots like the whirlwind; his horses swifter than eagles. Woe to us, for we are ruined – destroyed! O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. Warn the neighbouring nations that our adversary is coming; announce to Jerusalem that besiegers are coming from a far country, shouting against the cities of Judah.”
We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. It is coming – God’s way!
Isaiah 61:3 “The Lord will console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.”
By the way, USA, you can expect some sort of significant blessing to come your way now as a result of blessing Israel.
The claim of the enemies of God:
If you claim something that’s not yours is your own, and the rightful owner is standing right there, you can say that they are occupying your property. But you know that you are a thief and a liar. And just because the media supports the cause of the thief, that does not make them right. They are all of the same evil spirit!
Just to take this a step further: We as true cross bearing believers are born-again and occupied by our rightful owner God. Satan, his demons and puppets, hate that, and want to rip the cross out of us and occupy us with their devil instead!
Claiming that something is yours repeatedly does not make it your own. That was the strategy of Hitler (and of Satan.) He said: “Make the lie big, keep saying it and eventually the masses will believe you.”
How to pray for Israel, Jerusalem and the Jews:
In your prayer, quote the scriptures. Make them proclamations. Write them down. Pray them with like-minded believers too. Fast and pray. Pray to keep from falling into deception; pray that God keeps your spiritual eyes open. Pray often and regularly on these things. Pray in the fear of the Lord.
Here are just a few verses to pray:
Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you (Israel), and I will curse him who curses you.”
Psalm 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may they prosper who love you.”
Psalm 129:5 “Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.”
Psalm 68:1 “Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: Let them that hate Him flee before Him.”
Isaiah 41:11 “Behold, all those who were incensed against you (Israel) shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.”
Hosea 11:10 “They shall walk after the Lord. He will roar like a lion. When He roars then His sons shall come trembling from the west.”
Nehemiah 2:20 “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you (descendants of the Arabs) have no heritage or memorial in Jerusalem.”
Isaiah 14:1 “The Lord will have mercy on Jacob and still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. Strangers (Gentiles) will be joined to them and they will cling to the house of Jacob.”
Zechariah 8:13 “It shall come to pass that just as you (Israel) were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear and let your hands be strong.”
Isaiah 43:1 “Thus says the Lord who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you: I have called you by your name; you are mine.”
How to face the end-times fear-free!
A major characteristic of the great shaking soon to come is fear.
Fear is a spirit. I’m not talking about just getting a fright. I’m talking about an enduring, overhanging, tormenting fear. It actually hinders your walk with the Lord and much more.
The Bible talks of the “spirit of fear” in numerous places.
2 Timothy 1:7 “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and a sound mind.”
Hebrews 13:6 “The Lord is my helper, I will not fear.”
●Do you know how to be truly wonderfully fear-free? Then fear!
Proverbs 19:23 “The fear of the Lord leads to life. He who has it will abide in satisfaction and will not be visited with evil.”
Please understand the incredible power in that simple verse! Do you want abundant life, a life of satisfaction? In these coming days of the outpouring of evil, do you want to be free from evil? Then fear the Lord!
Isaiah 33:6 “The fear of the Lord is His treasure.”
Are you a special treasure to God? You are not if you don’t actively fear Him!
The great bottom line in all of this is: God has chosen / Satan has chosen! Pick your choice wisely beloved brethren!
There is no neutrality or middle ground!
It’s all about what God says, thinks, has done and will do, which is fully contained in His word. That’s the beginning and end of it all!
So pick your choice – but choose carefully –you will be identifying yourself as a giant fool of the world, or a wise child of God!
There is no neutrality!
The Palestinian concerto of lies, its war of words, its hatred in the name of peace, fools the blind media and the world. Their bloodshed, hostility and contention is now clashing, and crossing swords with God: Carnage is coming.
This began as an art work with leaves “stamped” onto the canvas. I superimposed the acacia-tree sunset over the art – viola!
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
