This website is distinctly Messianic, comprising the Abrahamic expression of faith, which is to the Jew and the Gentile. We affirm the fullness of truth contained in the Bible, embracing the cross and identifying with the convocations of the Lord. We reject the legalism of many in the Messianic movement. We reject the Babylonian Pagan traditions of the church. We consider all people Jews and Gentiles and those in all churches who are truly born of the Spirit of the living God to be one family. We proclaim a kingdom vision. We affirm and identify with God's plan and call to the Jewish people in these days and will support and stand with them as future brothers and sisters. Our slant is pre-trib! The Prophetic Scroll's aim is to glorify the living God.
I was saved in 1976 and became extremely interested in Bible prophecy, being an ex war-correspondent and photographer. My calling and aim is to share the dramatic, all-important issues of prophecy relating to our day. Please study these things further yourself. Please search the scriptures to “see if these be true.” The Prophetic Scroll stands as a watchman in these exciting and dangerous days.

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

How to be a radical Christian:
Matthew 3:10 “The axe is laid to the root of the tree.”
In Latin the word “root” is the word “radix” which also mean radical! It means getting to the very deep root and heart of things. The axe, beloved brethren, is your personal cross which you use daily. The tree is your self-life and connection to the world!
A radical Christian is a dead Christian! These are the words of life!
Compromised, shallow, half-baked, spineless, worldly Christians are the order of this day. Don’t be one them. It will cost you dearly and you will forever regret it.
Satan wants you! He wants to swindle you out of your place, calling and coming reward. He wants to entrap you, ensnare you and entangle you in his evil web, which he makes appear to be so inviting.
Satanic end-time pressure is increasing and intensifying. Now is the time to be radical, or risk being swept away by the invisible forces of mediocrity today.
The deeper and more established the roots of a tree are, the more difficult it is to take that tree out. Deeply rooted Christians are a tower of stability, endurance and safety.
If you compare yourself to today’s standards, you will soon see that “deep” is easy because modern Christianity is so shallow.
Don’t compare yourself with the world or the average Christian today! (2 Corinthians 10:12)
Beloved brethren, we are close to the rapture of the church. We are close to stepping into eternity with no way back (not that we would want to come back!) We are close to the last stroke of the pen being written in our book of eternal reward.
This edition is not about dates, or signs of the times. It is about your heart and your last chance to have God write good things in your book!
Proverbs 12:3 “A man is not established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous cannot be moved.”
Proverbs 12:12 “...The root of the righteous yields fruit.”
When a fruit is picked from its life source and root in God - the tree, corruption begins. Guard and nourish your spiritual roots.
How do we become radical today?
Proverbs 16:3-4 (Amp) “Commit and trust your works to the Lord, and He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and so shall your plans be established and succeed. The Lord has made everything to accommodate and contribute to its own end and His purpose...”
●Firstly, we become radical by faith. ●It comes by the desire to be a radical. ●It comes by the decision to pay the price. (This is very costly.)
●It means embracing and learning all about the “fear of the Lord.” You will never advance further than the elementary, basics of Christianity without the fear of the Lord.
●It means being brave and breaking out of much traditional thinking and believing.
●We must embrace the “goodness and severity” of God and the “hard sayings.”
●The radical must study the word of God till blue in the face, and must be well read especially with the old-school discipleship teachers who were mostly hell-fire preachers.
●The radical must be totally dependent upon our Lord and His Spirit at all times and must always draw from those deep waters.
●The radical must be aware of the big errors of the day, so that he can avoid them.
The ones who will rarely become radical in the things of God are those who have had little or no discipline growing up. (Proverbs 23:14)
Understand the working of sin and the cross:
The shed blood of Messiah deals with and cleanses us from sin, while the cross deals with who we are and slays us.
We can have our sins removed and cleansed by the blood, but still have no peace because self is still alive and won’t pick up that cross! That produces a war in our hearts. We must apply both the blood and the cross correctly to have deep inner peace.
It is only as the blood deals with sin, and the cross deals with the sinner, do we experience resurrection life. Our old life ends with death and our new life begins with resurrection life.
Salvation and all it entails is really our departure from this world. It is done! We are just waiting for the final manifestation of it.
Salvation does not reform us and make us better people. It kills us and starts again with “one new man.” (Ephesians 2:15) You don’t put your hand up and now you’re saved! That is only part of the process. When you get saved, God is asking you to receive His death and resurrection and to come and die on a cross daily!
The tragedy today is far too many churches are teaching their flock to be better people! “You can do it – yes you can”! That is the way to fit in neatly with the world and to love the world more. That concept is totally foreign to the true gospel.
When sin and temptation comes along, we are to “reckon ourselves dead to sin.” You see, we have already died and been given a new life. We need the revelation of it and its power. That word “reckon” means: To account, deem, judge, and to “number among.”
Romans 6:6-11 “Know (with revelation knowledge) that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin may be done away with, for he who has died has been freed from sin...Likewise you also reckon yourselves to be dead unto sin and alive to God in Yeshua the Messiah.”
This “reckoning” only comes by deep revelation of the Spirit. Let me say it again: We need the revelation of our co-death and resurrection, before we can even begin to be successful.
God’s way is to make us weaker unto death, and then we arise to live a new type of life.
We have been made holy and desire more holiness, because it is part of the essence of the life of God, which now works in us.
Perhaps the two greatest revelations we as Christians can have is that our sins have been removed and we are dead – killed on a cross!
Imagine going to an undertaker and ordering a tombstone with the words: “Here is Joel – killed on a cross...Now more alive than ever!” Then when it is done having it delivered to, and erected next to the front door! That would confuse the neighbours!
The radical Christian is a dead Christian! Your epitaph is: “Not I but Messiah.” (Galatians 2:20)
The cross is the radical, great destroyer, while resurrection is the greatest positive, life-giving thing imaginable.
Self - confidence is an esteemed worldly attribute to be aspired to. Self - confidence, beloved brethren is for fools, the proud and arrogant.
If self must go to the cross to die, (Galatians 2:20) can you see why the unsaved who reject the cross are in such trouble?
The radical Christian is the one who stands securely and endures. He has the scars, marks and blood-stains of a violent death on a cross all over him! He now stands, resurrected, in glory.
Being radical makes you restrained doctrinally. It helps you put the brakes on when all sorts of doctrinal rubbish is around. A true radical for our Lord is one who is cuffed, shackled and imprisoned by truth and doctrine, by the Spirit – just as Paul was. (Ephesians 3:1, Philemon 1:1)
This is real freedom and liberty!
The world can try all it likes to suck you into its hell on earth, and hell to come. It can tempt you, entice you and give you all sorts of arguments why it knows better.
►There are no more arguments from hell!
Remember the terrifying cry from hell:
Luke 16:24-30 “Please may he dip just the tip of his finger in water to cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame...No, besides, there is an impassable gulf fixed between us. I beg you then warn my family so that they will not also come to this place of torment...No, even if they were to see one rise from the dead, they will not repent.”
The radical journey:
The seven feasts of the Lord are grouped into three in the Bible. They are Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. The others fit in between as normal. Amazingly, and apart from their regular meanings, these three represent the journey of the radical Christian.
We go from Passover, which is symbolic of the cross and initial salvation, to Pentecost, which represents the coming, empowering and filling with the Spirit. Don’t stop there! We then get to Tabernacles, which represents our deep experience of living in close fellowship with our Lord.
To get to Tabernacles we must go through the previous feasts experientially.
You can never get to the destination if you leave out either of two previous experiences.
Do you see why it is such blasphemy to replace Passover with Easter, the Catholic convocation glorifying sex with temple whores in Babylon? (Look it up!)
Have you ever wondered why many of the churches and their believers, who reject the fullness of the Spirit never get to that place of deep inner peace in the presence of our Lord? It’s because, they’ve rejected the fullness of Pentecost and the baptism in the Spirit.
If you surrender to God’s way, things will work for you!
We need to go the way of the cross, and the baptism in the Spirit to get to the experience of Tabernacles.
In fact, part of this incredible journey begins before the cross in a garden called Gethsemane! This is where our battle of decision takes place. Do we decide to go the way of the cross? Or do we back out? Gethsemane comes before Golgotha!
Then when we get to the cross, we want to run back to Gethsemane and change our choice!
Adam had a similar battle in a garden! He yielded to the devil. Jacob had a similar battle with the Angel of the Lord at a place God re-named Peniel, which means “I have seen God and now live.” (Genesis 32:30)
But the Bible says “no man can see God and live.” That means that Jacob’s wrestling experience was in fact his “death” experience.
Jacob was forever changed by that encounter. God “touched” the socket of his hip and walked with a limp the rest of his days – a reminder that’s it’s not so clever to fight God!
Moses had an encounter with God which left him temporarily blind with a face that shone like the sun. (Exodus 34:35
Paul the apostle had an encounter with the risen Lord and feel to the ground being left blind for a short time.
To the hungry radical – Even the bitter is sweet, when it’s all from God! (Proverbs 27:7)
We are called to the depths of experience with God. “Deep calls unto deep”. (Psalm 42:7)
The radical has learned the lesson: “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
Standing with Israel:
The radical Christian will be radical in all his ways with all of the word! He will be pro God’s choice for Israel, Jerusalem and the Jews. He will stand for them and against those who come against Israel.
The opposite of a radical Christian:
The non-radical Christian will be average, ordinary, worldly, superficial, empty, and half-baked.
His believing will be shallow, skin-deep, and depthless. He will not endure when the pressure is on.
He will retreat, run-away, surrender and yield to the world. He will be “disapproved unto God.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
He will get to Gethsemane, turn and flee for Hollywood.
The non-radical will be moved and swayed by every opinion out there. They will be swallowed by “every wind of doctrine.” (Ephesians 4:14)
This is happening right now with many, some I know personally.
They will think people who repeatedly see meaningless signs in the sky are in tune with God. They will repeatedly fall for error over and over again. They will never advance in the deep things of God.
Some are blind to the curses they’ve come under. Are you aware that certain doctrinal beliefs bring curses with them and trap you?
Compromise will take the pressure off. Satan won’t bother a person who has given up.
The self-led Christian is no different to the world. They will be tossed around with every new Christian fad, backed by terrible music, manufactured in hell!
So many Christian lives are a shallow sham. They are dull, dark, dumb and boring. They have no spiritual conversation! Colossians 4:5-6
►If you seek the Lord and are unwilling to repent or change, you will not find Him. You are looking where He is not! You will find a god of your own creation though.
In all of this, like the famous prodigal son, God’s hand of forgiveness will always be outstretched to them, desiring them to come back quickly. Many will in these last days.
The testimony of the radical:
2 Corinthians 3:2 (Amp) “You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written in your hearts, to be perceived, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Messiah, delivered by us, not written with ink but by the Spirit of the living God.”
Beloved brethren, you are a living epistle, read by many!
The unsaved must be fascinated with you as a radical believer. They must really wonder what makes you tick. They know deep down that you have Someone who is living deep in your heart, but they can’t comprehend it.
The world must also hate you. The devil in them must recognise God in you, and that you are untouchable and unreachable by him and his demons. Some will hate you, some will love you and most will think you’re crazy.
But, I tell you this, the unsaved will change their tune, and come running to you when their world starts shaking and falling! When the pressure is on, you will be their stability...and you must be.
Your life needs to show them up. Your life needs to speak to them, notifying them that have been big turkeys. You don’t need to tell them that, but your life will if it is right with God!
You must realise that your life, if properly broken by God, will emit and radiate a beautiful “aroma” which is the Spirit of the living God. It will be infectious and contagious affecting those around you with God’s own Spirit.
The effects of the poison in the unbeliever, and the sick, epidemic of sin, evil, wickedness, demons and devils will be silenced or at least impacted and forced to retreat.
►A few words spoken by a Spirit-led, deep radical believer has greater power than millions of worldly words, no matter how wise!
As a true radical believer, you are of extreme, immeasurable value to our Lord and His kingdom. To be honest, the ordinary, average Christian today is of more value to the devil and his world than the kingdom of God.
The radial believer is a rare, great and powerful testimony, and a very real help to others in time of trouble and need.
His self-confidence is gone to the cross, and now he is strong in God. He has an air of mystery to him – the very mystery of God. He now has the confidence of God and is ready to distribute God’s life to others. (2 Corinthians 5:15)
You must be known for your testimony. You must be known for what you believe and accept and what you reject. You must be soft, humble and broken towards the things of God and hard as nails to that which opposes.
The radical Christian is filled with passion. But it is passion for truth and against error!
Who you follow and receive from is most important. People cannot impart much more than who, or what they are. Is the message you receive from a messenger of the cross, the message of the cross?
In these end times we need to be wildly radical, in the face of worldly compromise! We need to soar way above the modern church. Not from a pride point of view, but to glorify God.
As the much of the church and the world sinks further and deeper into the mire, you need to fly ever higher!
It is easy to do with the Spirit of our Lord imparting His strength, power and wisdom to you. It is next to impossible without the Spirit of the Lord actively at work in you.
When we let God do the work in us we get the reward!
2 Peter 1:2-4 “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of Yeshua the Messiah, as His divine power has given to us to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him, who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” Verse 10 “If you do these things, you will never stumble or fall!”
This magnificent portion of scripture above is so profound and says so much. Note the multiplying effect for the radical. Note the divine power and note the end result – escaping the world! – Wonderful – glory indeed!
Dying, we conquer!
Radicals beget radicals. Look for them, you will find them and something in your heart will bear witness with them, and you will rejoice.
The deeper you go with our Lord and more radical you are, the more disconcerted you become with the world. You will see its progression downwards and you will see your eternal separation from it. You see its terrifying future even now!
I took these pictures from a chopper flying over the Drakensberg Mountains. That’s the Tugela Falls, the second highest in the world.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
