|This ministry has a distinct kingdom, Messianic vision, identifying with God’s call and plan for the Jewish people and the church. My position is pre-trib! Personally: I was saved in 1976 while working as a war correspondent, journalist, photographer, artist and environmentalist. My calling is to share these great end-time dramas, to stand as a watchman and above all, to glorify my God.|

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.
Edition 415: May 1st 2018
Beloved Jewish brethren to be:
Hosea 3:5 (Amp) “The children of Israel shall return, seek the Lord their God from the line of David their King of kings and fear the Lord and come to His goodness in the latter days.”
Romans 11:28-29 “Concerning the gospel, the Jews are enemies, but concerning the election, they are beloved... for the gifts and calling of God (on the Jews) are irrevocable.”
One of the big obstacles in the way of Jews seeing and recognising Yeshua as their Messiah is caused by their Rabbi-taught belief that Yeshua was not from the line of David. This is wrong! The profoundly important verse above, in Hosea reveals prophetically, the exact opposite.
Yeshua was born of a virgin and therefore could not be of the line of David, and therefore not the Messiah, claim the Rabbis. But the Bible refers to Yeshua as the “Son of David” in numerous places. In His flesh, He was of the lineage of David. This Son of David, the Son of God, will rule from the throne of David in the Millennium.
I’m well aware of all the controversies over the issue, but if you study it out carefully, it works out.
Beloved, saved Jewish brethren, you already know that your Messiah is the crucified and resurrected Jew of all Jews – Yeshua Hamashiach, the living God of the universe – the King of kings. Most Christians call Him Jesus, the Christ. We are talking of the same person.
This edition is primarily for the Jews who are still to become, “beloved brethren”.
The Bible is full of clear dispensational divisions for the church and Israel in these end-times. The final seven years of Daniel’s prophecy (Daniel 9:24-27) is essentially for “My people” the Jews. Numerous other passages point to the Jews being the major participants of the final seven-year tribulation period on earth, while the true church is seen in heaven for that time.
Perhaps the most exciting aspect of Bible prophecy, already starting to be fulfilled, is the lifting of the veil of spiritual blindness upon the Jews, as to who their Messiah is. (2 Corinthians 3:16)
At the same time there is already the beginning of a veil of spiritual blindness being drawn across the eyes of many within the largely Gentile church. This is especially true for those of replacement theology. (See previous edition on “hooks in jaws!”)
Talk about drama! And it was all written thousands of years ago!
If this edition results in one Jew being saved and or escaping the tribulation period, it was well worth it. If you are Jewish or have Jewish friends, please read this edition well. Perhaps you may want to save it or print it out. Many of these things are right on the horizon now!
There are a lot of verses in this edition. Read them all and take note of their gravity and seriousness.
If you could see into the future and saw an individual that you know getting truly saved in a few weeks time, do you think that would change your attitude to that person now? Yes it would. You would start seeing that person as a beloved brother already.
Although the Temple veil was torn at the time of the cross, it is just beginning to show beams and streams of light shining through now for many Jews. Many are getting saved now ahead of the tribulation period. These Jews become part of the glorious church. They are saved – born-again, just like others in the church.
Israel is entering her most dangerous time ever. Millions are about to be saved – Satan knows that and hates that. Huge wars and conflicts are about to break out. The land issue is coming to an international head. Jerusalem is on the world’s chopping block now, thanks to Satan. A large part of the church has teamed up with Satan and the mass-media to give Israel, the land, the city and the people over to Islam.
In all of this, God’s will stands supreme, with promises of total destruction to all His and Israel’s enemies including President’s, Prime Ministers kings, queens and other world leaders. “Hell from beneath is excited about you, to meet you at your coming...” (Isaiah 14:9)
Jews – beware, beware which covenant you choose!
Covenants, covenants, covenants!
God made an eternal covenant with Israel, which involved the land of Israel (all of it) and Jerusalem (all of it) and the Jews (all of them)
This covenant remains in place from God’s side of things. This land, city and people covenant never included the church. We were given a new covenant. Now God has made a new covenant on top of His existing covenant with the Jews. It is called a “new covenant” and is just the same as ours for the church, except that the land and city covenant remains in place, side by side with the new covenant for the Jews.
Here it is:
Jeremiah 31:31-33 “Behold the days are coming says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah...I will put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God and they shall be My people.”
Ezekiel 37:14 “I will put My Spirit in you and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land...”
There are other verses too like Psalm 105:6-11. Many Jews will respond to this new covenant, before the tribulation begins, but many will not and will fall for Satan’s counterfeit covenant.
The antichrist will deceive the nations and tragically, many Jews too – They will sign away their side of God’s covenant. They will be signing for their slaughter – the seven-year tribulation period.
Becoming “beloved brethren!”
Acts 5:31 “Him (Yeshua) God has exalted to His right hand, to be Prince and Saviour, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.”
Now we come to the grand, unique, glory-story of Israel created, elected, rejected and accepted.
Isn’t this the grand, unique, glory-story of our Messiah born, elected, rejected and accepted?
Jewish brethren to be, your Rabbis have led you with blindfolds on their own eyes! They have taught you that Yeshua is not your Messiah for numerous reasons – all wrong. But here is your Messiah revealed in your Bible – all the following are from what we call the Old Covenant, not the New:
Our Messiah was born of a virgin. At the cross He was whipped, beaten and spiked with a crown of thorns, and crucified. Then He was resurrected – all revealed in the Old Covenant, prophetically, long before it happened.
Isaiah 7:14 “The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son and shall call His name Immanuel.”
Micah 5:2 “You Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me, the One to be ruler in Israel whose goings forth have been from old from everlasting.”
Zechariah 9:9 “...Behold your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.”
Zechariah 12:10 “I will pour out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look upon Me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for His only son and grieve for him as one grieves for a firstborn.”
Isaiah 50:6 “I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.”
Psalm 22:17-18 “I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.”
Isaiah 53:5 “He was wounded for our transgression, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes (whipping) we are healed.”
Psalm 22:1 “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? (Words from the cross)Why are You so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning.”
Isaiah 53:8-9 “He was taken from prison...He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked – with the rich at His death, because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.”
Psalm 16:10 “You will not leave My soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your holy One to see corruption.”
Zechariah 13:6 “Someone will say to Him, what are these wounds in Your hands? Then He will answer, ‘those with which I was wounded in the house of My friends.” (After the resurrection.)
Isaiah 49:16 “See I have inscribed you (Zion) on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.”
The words from these verses above, in bold paint a vivid, dramatic, accurate, definite, graphic and highly detailed picture of the major events of our Lord and Messiah from birth to the cross and to resurrection – all from the Old Covenant, written long before the event.
Interestingly, every title in the entire Bible for our Lord has a numeric gematria of a multiple of eight, which is the number of resurrection, besides one which adds to a multiple of thirteen – the number of the sin of rebellion. That is “Yeshua of Nazareth King of the Jews” – the title nailed to the cross. It was on the cross that our Lord became our sin and rebellion!
Is this all coincidence? I think not!
Beloved Jewish brethren and brethren soon to be, and beloved Gentile brethren soon to be (yes, you too Colin) your time is running out! Don’t wait too long. If you want to, just have a peek behind the veil! Let the glory shock you to your roots!
It’s time to repent now!
If you wait too long, you will miss your opportunity to be saved now. You will go into and through the tribulation period.
The Rabbis need to consider this tragic verse below. It speaks of their leadership! It speaks of them leading their people into the tribulation! They teach from behind the veil!
Jeremiah 25:34-36 “Wail, shepherds and cry! Roll about in the ashes, you leaders of the flock! For the days of your slaughter and your dispersion are fulfilled; you shall fall like a precious vessel. And the shepherds will have no way to flee, nor the leaders of the flock to escape. A voice of the cry of the shepherds and a wailing of the leaders to the flock will be heard...”
Let me add right here, that many Rabbis will be part of those who get saved before the tribulation. Some are in fact being saved now.
The coming light:
Here is a “before” verse and a few “after” verses:
Isaiah 44:18 “They do not know nor understand; for He has shut their eyes, so they cannot see and their hearts so that cannot understand.”
Jeremiah 29:12-13 “Then you (Jews) will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all of your heart.”
Isaiah 42:16 “I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them...”
Isaiah 29:18 “In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book and the eyes of the blind shall see out of the obscurity of darkness.”
Isaiah 9:2 “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.”
Psalm 36:9 “In your light we see light.”
The Jews who miss the rapture:
The majority will miss the rapture. However, the majority will be saved. It is only the Jewish people who are promised almost complete national salvation. Not every last Jew will be saved, but the great majority will be saved in the tribulation.
Romans 11:15 “If their (Jews) being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be, but life from the dead.”
Zechariah 8:13 “It shall come to pass that just as you (Israel) were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear and let your hands be strong.”
The nations who think they know better than God:
Isaiah 65:14 “My servants (Israel) shall sing for joy of heart, but you (the nations) shall cry for sorrow of heart and wail for grief of spirit. You shall leave your name as a curse to My chosen, for the Lord God will slay you and call His servants by another name.”
Psalm 21:8-12 Your hand will find all Your enemies; Your right hand will find those who hate You. You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger; The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. Their offspring You shall destroy from the earth, and their descendants from among the sons of men. For they intended evil against You; they devised a plot that they were not able to perform. Therefore You will make them turn their backs; You will make ready Your arrows on Your string towards their faces.”
Psalm 76:3 “There (Jerusalem) He broke the fiery shafts of the bow; the shield and the sword, of the battle.” (Israel Bible)
Isaiah 2:19 “They shall go into the holes of the rocks and into the caves of the earth, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake the earth mightily.”
But, in the midst of all the drama, there will be some wise nations:
Isaiah 14:1 “The Lord will have mercy on Jacob and still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. Strangers (Gentiles) will be joined to them and they will cling to the house of Jacob.”
What a wonderful comfort...and warning!
Isaiah 45:25 “In the Lord all the descendents of Israel shall be justified and shall glory.”
Isaiah 66:19 “I will set a sign among them (Jews)...they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles.”
A comforting hope for saved Jews is the “blessed hope” of the soon-coming rapture. (Titus 2:13)
Isaiah 40:1 “’Comfort, yes comfort My people!’ says your God. Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her that her warfare has ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received from the Lord’s hand, double for all her sins.’”
This beautiful verse above is written to the Jews, but not about them, because they are the ones to be “comforted.” It can only be another group of people who are also of the Lord. That is you, the church! It is your God-ordained job! Do it well, and do it now!
Interestingly, this verse is a lot more than an enormous slap in the face to all Christians of replacement theology. And please note that God includes the city of Jerusalem in the “comforting!”
Jews, God is on your side. He loves you with an enduring love. He is already beginning to remove the veil causing your blindness – your own rebellion.
Jewish brethren to be: Do you know that as our Lord was crucified and died, your Temple veil was supernaturally split from top to bottom? That veil was a reminder of your sins separating you from the presence of the living God.
Now through the new-birth you have access beyond the veil! (Hebrews 6:19) The torn veil gives you Jews access directly to Messiah and it also reveals that God is no longer exclusively hidden behind the veil.
At the time the veil was torn, the graves of many righteous, mostly Jews of Jerusalem, flew open and these once dead people, walked out of the graves – resurrected! Do you know, my Jewish friends, that this is a picture of your own resurrection to life eternal life now in the new-birth?
But there is much more to the story! Here it is in one powerful short succinct verse:
***Isaiah 25:7-8 “ He will destroy on this mountain the surface of the covering cast over His people, and the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces. The rebuke of His people, He will take away from all the earth; for the Lord has spoken.”
Do you see and understand what an incredibly powerful verse this is above? Well, here are a few snippets from some of the preceding verses in this discourse: (Isaiah 25:1-6)
“You have made cities a ruin...The strong people (Jews) will glorify You... The city of the terrible nations will fear You... The blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall...The song of the terrible ones will be diminished.”
There are over 300 prophecies in the Old Covenant referring to Yeshua as Messiah. In 1944 a study was done showing that if just 48 of these prophecies were fulfilled, that would be 1 in 10 to the 157th power.
Isaiah 9:6-7 “Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulders. His name shall be called, ‘Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government there shall be no end...”
Isaiah 44:8 “Have I not told you from that time and declared it? You (Israel) are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock, I know not one.”
I took the cheetah picture lying down flat so I could “look it in the eye.” I took the background baobab tree picture at Kubu Island, Botswana (an island of salt desert). I combined them and framed it all with bits of gold leaf.
Shalom and grow in His Grace!
