|This ministry has a distinct kingdom, Messianic vision, identifying with God’s call and plan for the Jewish people and the church. My position is pre-trib! Personally: I was saved in 1976 while working as a war correspondent, journalist, photographer, artist and environmentalist. My calling is to share these great end-time dramas, to stand as a watchman and above all, to glorify my God.|

Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.
Edition 442: November 6th 2018
Standing before the Lord:
Tick tock, tick tock goes the prophetic clock!
We are right on the verge of major end-time prophecies coming to pass. People look excitedly at all the events unfolding – and rightly so. But some people either don’t see, or underplay the biggest, soon-coming event of all time for themselves personally.
Are you ready to stand before the King of kings, Lord of lords and Judge of judges – the grand perfect, holy, God of the universe? Do you remember the words of the hide-and seek game: “Coming ready or not”? Well, this is not a game...it’s the real deal!
As a believer, ready or not, you will soon stand alone – very alone before our Lord in judgement. Everything, including your thoughts will be judged. You will receive reward and loss of reward. How wise it is to be ready!
As believers, we will never stand before our Lord in judgement for salvation. That is a done deal, achieved on the cross and through the new-birth. But we will be judged for our works.
This edition is a heart-felt desire to help you prepare confidently to meet the Judge.
Hebrews 6:1-2 “Let us go one to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith towards God, of the doctrine of baptisms (plural), of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead and of eternal judgment.”
Resurrection, rapture, reward, and hell all have eternal outcomes!
Cleansing judgement is coming.
The overall principle of judgement, is love in action. It is a powerful cleansing agent.
A new Eden, a new paradise of unimaginable wonder is coming soon on the wings of the destruction of this present polluted “paradise.”
A world released from the restraint of God’s influence doesn’t get worse and worse. It gets worse and worse and then judgment!
We are to come out of what God has decreed to be evil and is doomed.
1 John 2:15-16 (Amp) “Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, craving for sensual gratification, and the lust of the eyes, the greedy longings of the mind, and the pride of life, which is assurance in one’s own resources and the stability of the earthly things – these do not come from the Father but are from the world.”
Today the fruits of the evil one in the world are arising. All man-made, plans to make the world a better place to live in are essentially plans to make it a better place to sin in.
1 John 5:4 “Whatever (whoever) is born of God, overcomes the world.”
Revelation 21:7 “He who overcomes shall inherit all things and I will be his God and he will be My son.”
We as believers, have authority to judge in areas where we have responsibility. We all have responsibility over ourselves. We must fearlessly judge ourselves. This involves deep change, but also involves your influences and whom you let into your life and how far.
Are you secure in your life choices? You can only really be secure when you have chosen God’s way which itself is secure. All else is as a secure as a mud hut in cat 5 hurricane and a magnitude 10 earthquake at the same time!
Restraining yourself not to sin is good, but not the best. The best is when the restraint, over time, becomes automatic and it has changed you into a new holiness-loving individual. You are then a true conqueror of sin and free indeed!
1 John 3:6 “Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.”
Exercised restraint, over time, turns the attractiveness of sin into repulsion. Deliberate restraint refines you in your walk on the narrow road.
Restraint grows. It begins at the great U-turn, when you begin to deny self and the sin-nature. Then, the attractiveness of sin begins to wane. If you don’t, you lose the restraint and your conscience becomes dull and eventually seared.
►The more you do something the more normal it becomes. The more you don’t do something, the more normal that becomes!
If you are truly saved, you will get to know our Lord more as you seek Him. Your life’s direction changes with your priorities and your lifestyle. Your depth of character changes, and what you even perceive to be sin changes. Your change is deep and enduring.
Proverbs 4:18-19 “The path of the just is like the shining sun that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like darkness, they do not know what makes them stumble.”
If your path is not getting brighter – you are on the wrong path.
Some people never change because they are not saved!
Power to change:
Philippians 3:10 (Amp) “My determined purpose is that I may know Him, and become progressively more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognising the wonders of Him. And that in the same way, I may come to know power flowing from His resurrection; and that I may so share in His sufferings as to be continually transformed into His likeness.”
There is a wonderful power that emanates from the resurrection. It is the power that helps us in transformation. But we must understand that there is also a power in sin and darkness.
●Powers of darkness: Luke 22:53. ●Power of demons: (principalities) ●Ephesians 6:12. ●Power of Satan: Acts 26:18, Ephesians 2:1-3.
Interestingly the word “power” in the verses above is ●Strong’s G1849 “Exousia”, meaning power of judicial authority. The word “power” given to us is ●Strong’s G1411, “Dynamis”, meaning miraculous force, mighty strength. It is the word from which “dynamite” comes.
Your sin-nature, residing in self is the devils legal right into your life, so kill him – crucify self. He cannot penetrate the cross. The sin-nature likes the status quo, hating the cross!
The cross was Satan’s victory for a brief moment. The resurrection was his total defeat and God’s eternal triumph forever! There is great power in that!
►When you have applied the cross and repented over something, God has removed it forever. Don’t go and bring it out from under the cross again, and don’t let people condemn you for that sin which is now as far removed as the east is from the west!
Do remember that the powers of darkness have a judicial authority in the world-system. We are to “crucify the world to us”. (Galatians 6:14)
The unsaved are not aware that they are fulfilling the sin of Lucifer. They are exalting themselves and their ways above God and His way. They think they are creating their own paradise! Their end is a ride with the Valkyries, a dance with demons in a paradise lost!
Modern man is about to find out the hard way that he not the centre of the universe. Behaviour determined by fallen man is about to explode under the judgement of God.
Brass is always a type of the judgment of God. (Bronze is similar to brass with the same meaning.)
●“Heavens of bronze”! This is a most remarkable curse. Deuteronomy 28 spells out the blessings and curses of God for obedience and disobedience.
Deuteronomy 28:23 “Your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze and the earth which is under you shall be iron.” (Iron is a symbol of crushing.)
The symbolism in the verse above, speaks of being totally covered by judgement as seen in the sky of bronze, and having crushing defeat below your feet. It relates to the unsaved, but can also apply to defeated Christians under the weight of an enduring, expansive curse.
●The brazen (brass) laver of the temple was made of brass with pieces of mirror imbedded into a frame of bronze. (Exodus 38:8)
The brass laver was used for the washing and cleansing of the hands of the temple priests, to make them pure. This was also a type of Messiah.
As they looked into the laver made with brass and mirrors they saw themselves precariously surrounded by judgement!
When you look in the mirror if you see yourself, you’re in trouble! If you see our Lord looking back at you, that’s good. He is reading you and preparing you for your great triumphal entry into heaven.
2 Corinthians 3:18 “We all with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord.”
●Moses, at God’s command, made a bronze serpent. (Numbers 21:9) He was to put it on a pole. “Anyone bitten by the snake, or who looked at this bronze snake would live.”
That’s very strange, because a snake bite is associated with death not life!
This is a powerful type of our Lord being raised on the cross of Calvary, where He “became sin and death for us.” Salvation emanating from all who receive the work of the cross is life!
If you have not been bitten and judged by this life giving snake, you are still un-judged, unsaved and poisoned by your sin.
●Amidst the amazing descriptive terms used for our Lord in the opening chapter of the Revelation we see Him returning with “feet of brass, refined in a furnace.” (Revelation 1:15) This speaks deeply of the pure, holy and cleansing judgement of our Lord.
The final act:
►Job 36:7 “He does not withdraw His eye from the righteous; but they are on the throne with kings, for He has seated them forever, and they are exalted.”
The last thing God will do is judge! Judgement is a powerful, holy, cleansing and revealing thing. It strips away the evil and leaves you truly exposed and open.
Will the real you please sit up straight. After judgement, you will be the new you forever – eternally glorious and beautiful in every way.
After judgement you are clean, holy, and pure in every area of your new life of glory. This new you will now be ready for eternity. After judgement, you will be exalted and enthroned with our Lord, ready to rule and reign with Him in the entire universe.
God answered the rebellion of Lucifer with judgement. He answered Adam with judgement. He answered Babylon with judgement. He answered Egypt, Jericho, Sodom & Gomorrah and others with judgement.
God answered you, dead in your sins with judgement. He pronounced us all - guilty as charged. But then He gave us the free gift of 100% perfection in spirit. And now we work that perfection from the inside to the outside.
One thing I can absolutely promise you, is that our judgement for reward and loss of reward, will be a once-off act and then it will be forever over, but with its enduring results.
The Judgement seat of Messiah:
Romans 14:12 “Each of us shall give account of himself to God.”
2 Corinthians 5:9-11 “We must all appear before the judgement seat of Messiah, that each one may receive the things (reward) for what was done in the flesh (works), whether good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men...”
1 Corinthians 3:12-15 “If anyone builds on this foundation (salvation in Him) with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will reveal it, because it will be revealed by fire. If anyone’s work endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”
The two verses above succinctly explain the believer’s judgement for reward and loss of reward. But don’t miss that it is a “terror!”
Let’s have a look now at some little-known, vital aspects of our coming judgement:
John 2:24 “Yeshua did not commit Himself to them because He knew all men...He knew what was in man.”
Psalm 50:21 ‘You thought that I (God) was altogether like you...”
Proverbs 21:2 “Every way of man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs his heart.”
Psalm 139:1-2 “O Lord you have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You understand my thought afar off... There is not a word on my tongue, but You know it altogether.
Psalm 139:16-24 “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. In Your book they were all written. The days were fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them...Search me O God and know my heart. See if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Unlike in a normal courtroom, we will have no lawyer or defence team. We will have no excuses. This will be a judgement of total justice. Rewards will be given and lost for exactly the right reason. The Judge knows everything, right down to our thoughts!
2 Peter 1:10 “Brethren, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things (previous verses), you will never stumble.”
Colossians 1:12-13 “Thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints of the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”
Rewards are given for sacrificial giving, and for obedience to the will of God.
The terror of the Great White Throne Judgement: (Revelation 20:11-15)
I strongly suggest that you read the verses of the Judgement seat of Messiah (above), and the Great White Throne in one go. It gives you a glorious and shocking picture.
All unbelievers appear at this judgment. They are judged because they rejected the salvation God. They are all cast out to hell.
Let’s have a look at some little know facts:
Psalm 7:10-11 “My defence is of God, who saves the upright in heart. God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day.”
The unsaved cannot please God with anything, because they are of another, foreign family and god. In case you think VIP’s, celebrities, kings, presidents and world leaders will escape judgement, think again!
***Psalm 110:5-6 “The Lord is at your right hand. He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.”
The essence of the thinking of modern man is wrong. It is wrong, wrong and wrong again!
Psalm 10:13 “Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart, You will not require an account.
Psalm 50:21 “You thought I (God) was altogether like you.”
Ecclesiastes 12:14 “God will bring every work into judgement, including every secret thing, whether it is good or evil.”
In these few verses above we see the entire problem of man encapsulated!
●He thinks God is like him. ●He compares himself with the world around him. ●He thinks God will not require an account of him. ●But every aspect of his life will be judged!
►For individuals it’s the Judgement Seat or the Great White Thorne Judgement! Corporately it’s the marriage feast of the Lamb, (Revelation 19:7) or the great feast of vultures. (Matthew 24:28)
The eternal rule of the saints:
Psalm 103:19 “The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.”
What follows is absolutely incredible! For the sake of space, I’m not writing out these verses. You can hover your mouse over them, or study them yourself. But I have summarised the main points just below.
Matthew 19:28, 1 Corinthians 6:2, Revelation 2:26, Revelation 3:21, Revelation 20:6, Revelation 21:7, Romans 8:17, Psalm 8:6, Daniel 7:18, Daniel 7:22, Daniel 7:27.
●Believers have been ordained to sit on God’s throne. ●The saints will judge the world, with Him! ●Believers will be given power over the nations! ●Believers will reign with Him. ●We will inherit all things. ●We will share in His glory as co-heirs. ●God will give us dominion over His works. ●The saints shall receive the kingdom forever and ever. ●The greatness of the whole everlasting kingdom shall be given to the saints.
This is all little-known, yet it is so profound! To me this is so extremely sobering. What amazing grace!
This all occurs after rapture / resurrection and we have stood before our Lord in judgment and been made totally new.
The closer you get to God, the more you see that His judgement is in fact pure love in action.
We are all destined to appear in that great hall. We will then be destined for the great wide universe, for heaven, for the New Jerusalem, and for worlds we never knew existed.
I feel a growing excitement as the coming of the Lord nears. I feel a wonderful confidence and also a growing fear!
1 Timothy 4:7 Amp “...Train yourselves towards godliness – keeping yourselves spiritually fit.”
There’s a “terror” involved in the loss of reward, because of the eternal effects and great regret. There’s a huge terror involved in the Great White Throne Judgement, because it ends in hell.
Psalm 33:5 “The Lord loves righteousness and justice (judgement).”
We will be in eternal joy with pleasures forevermore, eternally incorruptible and undefiled. We will be just like our Lord forever.
Ephesians 2:6-7 “God raised us up, even when we dead in trespasses and made us alive together with Messiah and raised us up together, seating us together with Messiah in heavenly places, that in ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace and kindness.”
