|This ministry has a distinct kingdom, Messianic vision, identifying with God’s call and plan for the Jewish people and the church. My position is pre-trib! Personally: I was saved in 1976 while working as a war correspondent, journalist, photographer, artist and environmentalist. My calling is to share these great end-time dramas, to stand as a watchman and above all, to glorify my God.|

Exodus 19:5-6 “If you (Israel) will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation...”
Amos 9:15 “I will plant them (Israel) in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord God.”
Isaiah 41:11 “Behold all those who were incensed against you (Israel) shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.”
Isaiah 44:18 “They do not know nor understand; for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their hearts so they cannot understand.”
Shabbat (Sabbath) begins on Fridays at 6pm and ends on Saturdays at 6pm. The purpose is to help the church and Israel become reconciled in Messiah and to identify the rift, and the needed restoration. There is much in the church that needs to change before it can be fully reconciled with the Jew. Likewise, changes in Jewish thinking are also needed.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
The tree-huggers delight:
The Bible uses plants, trees, colours, animals, birds, numbers and more to describe people and nations. It is the subliminal symbols that are of great significance and meaning, especially in relation to Israel.
Did you realise that the entire course of Israel’s history is plotted in the trees? There is much more to these symbols and metaphors - for another time.
Here are some amazing messages blowing in the wind, relating to Israel.
►The Olive tree: (Romans 11)
These trees have very deep, well established roots. They are sometimes called eternal trees, because they are so hardy; they live for many thousands of years. An ancient olive tree appears to die, but then miraculously, new shoots appear out of the dead wood continuing its existence.
The olive tree produces a rich olive oil which has numerous uses, but is also a type of the Holy Spirit. Olive oil is required to keep the temple menorah flames burning. This symbolises light. Olive tree leaves are symbols of peace. Remember the dove bringing back an olive branch to the ark after the flood of judgement.
The root of the olive tree is symbolic of God Himself. The root is called, “holy.”
Biblically, there are two olive trees of importance. The natural olive tree, is symbolic of Israel, and the wild olive tree, is symbolic of the church. The wild olive branch was “grafted” into the natural olive tree, thus partaking of the goodness of the root.
The national emblem of Israel includes two olive branches.
An ancient olive tree grove:
►The Fig tree:
The fig tree is symbolic of spiritual fruitfulness after severe pruning or judgement. It relates to Israel in the tribulation period, awakening to spiritual life.
The fig tree is unique in that its blossoms appear before the leaves. It should have fruit appearing before the leaves. This is why our Lord cursed the unfruitful fig tree, causing it to die. The root was not destroyed though, and a new tree full of fruit, is about to appear.
When the disciples asked out Lord what would be the sign of His coming, He listed a number of judgements to fall on the world. But one of these was the sign of the fig tree.
Matthew 24:32-34 “learn the parable of the fig tree: When is branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So also you when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the very doors. Assuredly, I say to you, ‘this generation (of Jews) will be no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled.’”
Present day Zionism and the awakening of the Jews, as well as modern anti-Semitism are signs of the fig tree putting forth leaves and about to produce much spiritual fruit.
►The Almond tree:
The almond is the first tree to flower in its season, which at the end of winter. The flower has five petals to it, five being the number of grace. The temple menorah, a symbol of light, has oil cups or containers in the shape of almond flowers.
The Hebrew word for “almond” is “shakeid” which also means to “awake” and “watch”.
The almond is symbolic of Messiah’s resurrection. It speaks of the supernatural power of God as seen in Aaron’s almond branch that budded in one day. (Numbers 17:8)
Jeremiah 1:11-14 “The word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ I said, ‘I see the branch of an almond tree.’ Then the Lord said, ‘you have seen well for I am about to perform My word.’ And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, ‘what do you see? And I said, a boiling pot and it is facing away from the north.’ Then the Lord said to me: ‘Out of the north calamity shall break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.’”
The message here is that as the almond (Israel) flowers and buds she will be plunged into the tribulation period.
Jeremiah 31:28 “It shall come to pass that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy and to afflict them, so I will watch over them to build and plant says the Lord. In those days they shall say no more, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes...’”
Psalm 80:8-9 “You have brought a vine out of Egypt, You have cast out the nations and planted it. You prepared room for it, and caused it to take deep root and it filled the land.”
This vine, Israel, is described as “the choicest vine.” But it is a vine that also has within it a “winepress.” (Isaiah 5:1-2) The “winepress” speaks of the crushing tribulation to come!
God planted Israel as a “noble vine” of the highest quality, yet it became an alien, degenerate vine. This speaks of Israel's rebellion to Messiah. (Jeremiah 2:21)
As with the olive and the fig tree, the vine will bear its good fruit in its time, which is just around the corner!
►Other trees symbolic of Israel:
Joel 1:12 (Context: Israel is invaded in the tribulation period) “The vine has dried up and the fig tree has withered; and the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree. All the trees of the field have withered. Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
But we know that Israel's story does not end in the tribulation. Joy will return.
The Cedar: Symbol of power, royalty and majesty. The Oak: Symbol of strength and stability. The Palm: Symbol of military victory and victory in Messiah. The Pomegranate: Symbol of abundance and joyfulness. The Acacia: Symbol of beauty. The Myrtle: Symbol of God’s favour and blessing.
The grand summary:
Israel is: Deeply rooted in God with an eternal future. Israel contains the light-producing oil of the Spirit of God and soon will be Messiah’s light of the world! Israel will be at peace soon. The church is a “wild” family member of Israel through our joint root in God. Israel will become fully fruitful after pruning. Israel’s ripening fruit is a sign of Messiah’s coming. Israel will bud and come to life supernaturally in a day and then bring the light of salvation to the Gentile world. Israel will go through the winepress of tribulation, be attacked from the north and fall under calamity, because she was the choicest, noble vine and yet gave herself to paganism. (Baal) Finally Israel will fulfil God’s call and plan in power, majesty and strength, abundance, and blessing.
All of this is revealed in the nature of this forest of trees, and the corresponding Bible verses. How can you not be a tree-hugger!
Edition 180 November 1st 2013
In these days if you don’t have spiritual sight and understanding you are on very thin ice!
How can you see what you can’t see? Ah – good and very important question. Let me say right up front that if you could see what you can’t see, you would be well on the way to great victory.
We can all see the world that that we live in, not so? Unfortunately very few people can see this world never mind the world to come!
If the great ethereal curtain were opened, and people could see what they can’t, their lives would be dramatically and forever different!
The Bible has plenty to say about our relationship to this present world and has even more to say about the world to come. But for many these are dead words no different to the words in a phone book or from a politician.
This is obviously true for all unbelievers, but it is horrifyingly true for most believers, which is the subject of this edition.
2 Corinthians 4:4 “The god of this age has blinded the minds of them who believe not.” Yes, and many believers too!
Seeing what you can’t see:
If you want to see things from God’s perspective and with deep revelation knowledge, understanding and wisdom, you need to do it His way.
Salvation is free and comes by faith and grace in the finished work of the cross. But then comes the pursuit of truth and the renewal of our minds. This is not free! It will cost you everything you are, or cost you nothing and you will remain blind as a bat.
Proverbs 23:23 “Buy the truth and do not sell it, also wisdom, instruction and understanding.”
Truth must be bought... it has an enormous cost to it, but the received value is unquantifiable.
●Whatever you want badly enough forms and makes you what you are. You become what you love. It’s expensive following the Lord!
●The true believer is the one who knows and obeys God’s truth. It’s the big measure of your faith and progress.
Today the world at large and much of the professing church casts down the truth of God to their eternal detriment!
Isaiah 59:14”...Truth is fallen in the street.”
Romans 2:8 “To those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth and obey unrighteousness – indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish...”
2 Peter 3:3-4 “In the last days scoffers will come walking according to their own lusts saying, where is the promise of His coming...all thing will continue as there were.”
The above verses reveal the way to spiritual blindness.
Please realise that there is a price to pay and you must want to pay it. That is the way to have your spiritual eyes opened.
One gains deeper life by losing your self-life and your self-orientation for God and others. Only then can you see clearly. Only after paying this price willingly, will you be truly satisfied. Only the true living God can fully satisfy the heart of man.
Soulish Christians blend in perfectly with the world. They are motivated by motivational teaching and thinking, but it’s all cross-less...with no spiritual value, just like the world.
Watchman Nee said, "The greatest negative in the universe is the cross, for with it God wiped out everything that was not of Himself: the greatest positive in the universe is the resurrection, for through it God brought into being all He will have in the new world. The resurrection then stands at the threshold of the new creation.”
●"As soon as we see the Lord on the Cross, we know our sins are forgiven ; and as soon as we see the Messiah on the Throne, we know the Holy Spirit has been poured out upon us."
●As soon as we see the Lord on the cross we also see that we are crucified with Messiah to the world. We see the world as doomed. As soon as we see the Messiah on the throne we see the world to come!
If you do not see the Lord on the cross, you will never see the world under judgment, nor will you see the Messiah on the throne or the world to come, until it is too late!
Intellect, human reasoning and brain-power are useless in comprehending the true depths of God. Without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, intellect is undependable and in fact dangerous.
The way of the flesh is the way of materialism and its supreme god. The sense of possessing, owning and controlling is its path. This goes hand in hand with the belief that man is basically good. This ignores or removes the doctrine of judgement.
Natural strength is what we receive from God at our creation, with the rebellious blood of Adam flowing in us. Spiritual strength is what we receive from the shed blood of Messiah on the cross and its application into our lives.
Many people think we become holy by stopping this or that. No, we become holy by being separated unto God. We must choose it and want it to move into it.
Can you see what the great all-powerful secret KEY to the victorious Christian life is? Firstly realise that you can’t do it, and secondly set your heart to want it and want Him. That’s it in a nutshell. If you take your hands off your own life and give up your own media-made ideas and set your desire to know our Lord – you are on the road to victory!
This present world and the world to come:
The glossy brochure drawn up by some blind idiot showing the family on the patio with expensive cars, boats and toys does not measure success. It is not exorbitant holidays, possessions and pleasures of and in this world. Today many preachers live a lifestyle no different from the opulence of Satan.
Here are some verses dealing with this present world and its god. These are not popular. You will seldom here a modern preacher teaching on them.
1 John 2:15-16 (Amp) “Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh (craving for sensual gratification) and the lust of the eyes (greedy longings of the mind) and the pride of life (assurance in one’s own resources or the stability of earthly things) – these do not come from the Father, but from the world itself.”
James 4:4 “Friendship with the world is enmity with God.”
Colossian 3:2 “Set your mind on things above and not on things of the world.”
2 Peter 3:11 “Since all these things (world) will be dissolved, what manner of person ought you to be in holy conduct and Godliness?”
1 Corinthians 3:19 “The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.”
John 3:19 “This is the condemnation, that light has come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.
1 John 5:19 “We know that we are of God and the whole world lies under the power of the wicked one.”
1 John 5:4 “Whoever is born of God overcomes the world...through faith.”
A disturbing reality:
Regular readers know that I and other end-time teachers believe that the scriptures teach in many places that few will be saved and many lost. It’s not my business to decide who is saved and who isn’t, but the Bible teaches that we will “know them by their fruits.”
Luke 18:8 “When he comes will he find faith on the earth?”
So many believers today are one with the world. They are in it and of it. They have the “right” words, but their fruits are the fruits of the things of the world. Not necessarily outright sin, just worldliness. It’s all they talk about and all they live. Their prayer is consumed with self and worldly prosperity. They are a total bore.
Self is a deadly enemy. It hides and masquerades as God, but bears the fruits of the devil himself when “watered” with worldliness; self becomes your worst nightmare and you don’t know it nor can you see it.
Too many are too gullible simply because the world is their god and therefore its god -Satan rules them.
The pursuit of God is easy if we die to self and set our hearts to want Him and know Him.
It is a great thing when I discover I am no longer my own but His. A life fully surrendered is the most valuable thing on earth.
Satan always works from the outside in. He works through the un-renewed mind which is linked to the things of the world. God works from the inside out.
Self can’t save you. Your brain can’t see and comprehend God and His truth. Only your recreated spirit can. Faith baffles brains, so don’t try to figure it all out in your head, just die to self, and surrender to Him in faith.
The consequences of not seeing:
The consequences are obvious for the unbeliever, but what about the half-baked believer? The spiritually blind believer will not see the world for what it is, or the world to come, but the danger is that these ones will see a false Christ, thinking he is the real deal.
They will accept the teachings of Oprah and other new age Godless guru’s, themselves destined for hell. They will believe that they can save themselves.
Mark 15:30 “Save yourself and come down from the cross.”
You must look forward into the heart of God in faith. When you take your eyes off our Lord, like Peter walking on water, you will sink. When you look back at your friends in the boat like he did, you will sink. Neither you nor friends can save you. The opinions of the world will sink you – guaranteed.
●God will prepare you if you give yourself to Him for this radical job and if you set your heart to want it, His way. The big key to failure is, “I can do it”! Self sufficiency and strength is your weakness.
People think God is on their side. Wrong! Are you on God’s side? How many foolishly proclaim, “Rest in peace” when the individual being buried was a rebel to God’s word all his life. Now that he’s dead they “lay him to rest”. But God sends him into eternal suffering. They proclaim, “He was a good man” God says there is none good no not one” besides Messiah of course, and he did not have Messiah alive in his heart. “Let the dead bury the dead,” says the Bible.
Many ask, “Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people”. Let’s look at just what God has allowed.
He has allowed you to reject His word and spit in His face. He has allowed you to worship the god of sex, evil entertainment and drug-addicted, demon-possessed celebrities. He has allowed you to flaunt your homosexuality to the world and redefine His ordinance of marriage. He has allowed you to murder your inconvenient unborn children. He has allowed you to be selfish, hateful, arrogant and a stingy lover of money and materialism. He has allowed you to bring your children up without discipline turning them into brats with no barriers or borders. He has allowed you to worship numerous false gods. He has allowed you to kill in wars more gruesome than ever. He has allowed you to destroy and devastate the environment and savagely torture His created animals to death. He has allowed you to try to build a world of peace your way without Him. He has allowed you to mock Him and the most important thing in all creation – the cross of Messiah! He has allowed you to ignore His warnings over and over again. He has allowed you to choose the devil.
And you say, “Why does God allow bad things to happen?” – You fool!
Obadiah 3 “The pride and arrogance of your heart has blinded and deceived you.”
Proverbs 1:24-26 “Because I have called and you have refused, I have stretched out My hand and no one regarded, because you have disdained all My counsel , and would have none of My reproof . I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes.”
It’s a good exercise to read the curses and blessing of Deuteronomy 29. You will see just why God allows bad things to happen.
Church academics with doctorates are perhaps the most dangerous people of all. They are well schooled in opinions of man and the doctrines of the church fathers. They will teach you how to ignore the plain clear truth of the scriptures illuminated by the Holy Spirit and conform to their denominational divisions.
2 Corinthians 3:15-16 “Even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 “Even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this world has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
The many church leaders and the few:
There are many churches lead by blind guides today. Their churches have few members – all dead!
There are few churches lead by Spirit-filled wonderful leaders. Their churches are growing.
In this day you need to know who you can trust. Many will lead you according to the poisonous so-called church fathers. Many will lead you according to the traditions of the whore of Babylon and her daughter. Many will lead you according to divided, dead, denominational tradition. Many will lead you according to cross-less multi-faith and its ‘good’ god Satan. Many will lead you according to worldly success, self motivation and all things nice and happy. Many will lead you according to self-indulgence and self-glorification. Many will lead you according to the principle of materialism and the love of money. Many will lead you into doctrines of demons.
Few will lead you according to all truth and the true pure doctrines of Messiah, led by the Spirit.
Acts 20:27 “I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.”
Too many leaders are themselves untaught by the Spirit of God. They are filled with religious pride and arrogance just like a Caesar!
How to spot a dangerous leader a mile off:
●Does he wear clothing that separates him from ordinary people? ●Does he go by titles that separate him from ordinary people? ●Does your hero / leader indulge in luxury of many forms? ●Does he care what people think, and is he mindful of the fear of Man? ●Does he have the mantle of pride in his teaching and speaking? ●Does he avoid controversies like homosexuality? ●Does he avoid, and scorn end-time doctrines? ●Does the leader teach replacement theology? ●Does he teach you to practice occult traditions like Easter and Christmas, infant sprinkling and the like? ●Does he teach the doctrine of continuance, which is “all things will carry on as always.” This comes from a distinct lack of teaching on eschatology.
If these traits are in your leader you are on dangerous ground. Your house is being built on quick-sand.
Psalm 89:15 “How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound of the shofar.”
The verse above is a wonderful oddity - a holy contradiction! The shofar is blown to call armies together, to warn and to announce judgement, but here it is associated with blessing and joyfulness. The people who know their God can rest and be joyful in the soon coming judgement on God’s enemies. It will be a most joyful thing to see Satan forever removed and a new world of glorious holiness installed in the entire universes forever!
At the same time the blowing of the shofar is fearful. It instils fear in those who hear its blast: “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
For God’s people the shofar of judgment is an object of blessing and abundance. It signals the outpouring and overflowing of God’s purity as His enemies are destroyed. Knowing God’s ways and word in these days is vital and of immense value.
Is your cup overflowing? In these days of approaching full-scale terror, you need to be overflowing with the Spirit of God and all His goodness, security and glory.
Proverbs 20:15 “There is gold and a multitude of rubies; but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.”
Your greatest desire:
If our Lord appeared to you right now...right in front of you, what would you say to Him or what would you ask Him? If He said to you, that you could have anything you wanted right now...what would that be?
I know for myself it would go along these lines: “My Lord, my God and King... that I may know you more deeply and will you be my close friend. My Lord grant unto me the strength to endure and to walk in purity. My Lord, there is so much I would say, yet I can say little in your presence. My Lord, may I know and understand the deep secrets of your word. My Lord, I love you supremely and desire to be with you in your kingdom forever.
The funny thing is that we will all stand before this God soon, many will be thankful that have set their hearts after Him earlier.
Today there are few who know the depths of experience with God. The deeper devotional life is all but impossible in this world.
Can you see this world and the world to come?
If you can see this world for what it is, and see its future, you will see right through its deceptive veneer and into the eternal world to come.
If you see only this world and it is your playground, you will never see the glorious world to come.
Jeremiah 33:3 (Amp) “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know or recognise, or have knowledge of nor understand.”
The world to come:
The following verses relate to the coming world. They speak wonderful things:
1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Revelation 11:15 “Then the seventh Angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever.”
Romans 8:21 “The creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”
Daniel 2:44 “In the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”
Daniel 7:27 “Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.”
Daniel 7:18 “The saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.”
2 Peter 1:10-11 “Therefore brethren, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord.”
Philippians 3:20-21 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who will transform our lowly body, that it may be conformed to His glorious body...”
What you can do:
●Learn to develop love and fear – and love and fear the Lord. Get rid of pride and arrogance. Get rid of the idea that you can do it because you’re okay!
●If you want to see things God’s way ask Him and be prepared to pay the price and you will.
Here are some verses of gravity:
Psalm 119:37 “Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things and revive me in Your ways.”
Psalm 119:18 “Open my eyes that I might see wondrous things from your word.”
Daniel 12:10 “Many shall be purified, made white and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly, and the wicked shall not understand, but the wise will understand.”
Psalm 36:9 “In your light we see light.”
►If you can’t see worlds apart you are in grave danger – much more so than you think! You are deceived and blinded by the god of this world, Satan, and you are in danger of hell.
These are severe times my friends, there are great enemies out there and their attacks are powerful. It’s time to be very serious about these things.
Psalm105:7-10 “He is the Lord our God, His judgements are in all the earth. He has remembered His covenant forever, the word which He commanded for a thousand generations, the covenant which He made with Abraham and His oath to Isaac, and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant.”
Psalm 125:3 “For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity”
Zechariah 8:13 “And it shall come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.”
I took this picture high in the Drakensberg mountains at sunrise after a dramatic night on top, back in the early 80s. Some friends and I had climbed the mountain to sit on top and make proclamations into the air about God’s plans and purposes for Israel.
The pinnacle is called the Devil’s tooth. In the midst of Gods abundant beauty, the devil lurks!
Psalm 36:6 “Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgements are a great deep; O Lord You preserve man and beast.”
Shalom and grow in grace!
