The blueprint for the church?

News events and comment.

a_swordpennewscomment

●Netanyahu says "Strike on Iran possible within months." He says; "Israel will protect itself even if the US objects."

●Obama says (15 March) "Window for diplomacy with Iran is closing fast."

●Both evil leaders Assad and Ahmadinejad are coming under increasing pressure from the world. Both may act as a cornered wild animal. In other words, when the pressure is really on and intensifying, they may strike out at Israel, who to them, is the enemy.

●Iran has now been cut off by global financial transaction service - SWIFT. Further EU and other sanctions are also coming. These collective measures will either force Ahmadinejad to capitulate or to strike out, the latter being the more likely.

●This may produce the Isaiah 17 war in which Damascus is destroyed and lead us down the road to the great war of Ezekiel 38 & 39.

●There is a danger in trying to make current news events fit into Bible prophecy. This doesn't mean that we don't watch carefully! We simply need to be cautious until we are sure. We must have all the pieces of the jigsaw in place.

●Iran promises to support Palestinian movement Hamas, says they will defeat Israel. (15 March) Debka file reports that Iran has threatened northern Israel with bombardment from Lebanon, which is now Hezbollah controlled. They are allies with Hamas.

●The US is at its most critical crossroads ever. It has the potential and the resources to help Israel or to throw Israel under the bus. As the pressure mounts on Israel what will the US do? It's fate is involved.

●The US based "Emergency Committee for Israel is warning that "Obama will abandon Israel when the pressure is on."

●Israel strikes oil in shallow waters just off Tel Aviv. This discovery will yield 232 million barrels  of oil and 1.8 trillion cubic meters of gas. This adds substantially to the huge gas fields discovery further up near the Lebanon border. Israel has been one of the few Middle Eastern nations without its own oil. This also will add tension to the ongoing conflicts, making Israel even more desirable. One of the causes of the Ezekiel war is; "They come to take a spoil"

●French President Sarkozi says no to gay marriage....good on you! The central issue with the gay rights crowd and movement is not for gay rights, but to redefine marriage. They want us to become like them! Marriage between a man and a woman is one of the central tenants of a strong nation. The three pillars for a strong nation are Family (Gods' way), church (God's way) and government (God's way) Take away one or more of the pillars and it all falls down...just what the devil wants!

The blueprint for the church?

Introduction

This is a very controversial subject, and will be shocking to many, but we need to look at it from a Biblical and prophetic point of view. There is so much at stake that I dare not avoid the issue because some may get offended. (Which is not my intention.)

I know so many people who really want to know the truth in these days. It's also a real joy to see so many churches returning to the truth and actively forsaking error.

The only one who hates truth is the "father of lies" Truth will never hurt you, in fact it will "set you free."

Truth is inspiring, refreshing, uplifting, exciting, frightening, radical and revolutionary.

Truth is uncompromising, but must be applied sometimes with mercy and grace.

As we head towards the close of this era, these issues will become more and more critical and important. Don't take this edition lightly; there are eternal issues and consequences involved here.

The blueprint and pattern for the church

"There is no perfect church", many ministers will tell you. They are wrong! There is a perfect church and no, I'm not talking about heaven.

I'm going to outline the Biblical perfect church. I'm in no way implying that churches that don't meet the criteria are not being used by God, as you will see further on.

It's kind of a good idea to find the blueprint and build according to it...not so? If the blueprint is God's design and pattern, it will do you no harm. Following the traditions of man will get you into trouble with God when you stand before Him.

The blueprint for the church is the Bible, and the leading of the Spirit of the living God.

There are many things that are variable and not of major importance. For example, there is no problem with a local church indentifying with certain local cultural aspects of the country. There are many things that are not variable and must not ever change.

Many have tried to modernise the church by changing its value system to suit that of the present day variable values. It's pure arrogance to claim that God is incompetent while elevating themselves above Him.

The blueprint revealed in the early church

Jeremiah 6:16 "Stand in the way and see and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.."

Jeremiah 18:15 "Because My people have forgotten Me, they have burned incense to worthless idols and they have caused themselves to stumble in their ways, from the ancient paths, to walk in pathways and not on a highway"

Isaiah 46:9-10 "Remember the former things of old, for I am God and there is no other; I am God and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times, things that are not yet done, saying My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure."

The above verses of scripture show the importance of returning to the beginning or starting from the beginning. Any blueprint or plan has a beginning point.

Return to the beginning, not half way through!!! The beginning is not with Augustine or the Catholics or Calvin or any of the reformers.

Some say we must follow the reformers. How can you expect to get the whole deal from people who had limited revelation. How can you pattern the church after anyone with limited sight? Not only that, almost all of the reformers hated the Jews.

God's blueprint for the church was revealed in the early. This would be the church up to the year 300AD or so. The first church was truly successful. Satan tried everything he had to kill it, but he failed. He brought in much error, which was refuted and rejected in those early years. After the advent of the Roman emperor Constantine in 300AD and the advent of the Catholic church in 600AD, the true church was largely defeated as it prepared the way into the dark ages.

So, we must look at the church before 300AD to get the true blueprint. After that the church became corrupted. Like an apple with rot in it, you can slow down the rotting process by putting it in the fridge, but you can't reverse it. You must throw it away and get a new one!

Acts 20:29 "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock."

Ezekiel 34:8 "As surely as I live says the Lord God, surely because My flock became a prey and My flock became food for every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock...therefore O shepherds; I am against you..."

This early church was a mix of Jews and Gentiles. This early church observed the seven feasts of the Lord. It kept the Saturday Sabbath. This early church had no Babylonian traditions like Christmas, Easter and the like.

The keys of the church at Philadelphia.

revelationbible

Revelation 3:7-13

The seven messages to the church in the first three chapters of the Revelation are God's assessment of the church. As a believer, you should know what these messages have to say backwards. On top of the messages being vitally important, they plot the course of the church through the church age, so they have a profound prophetic meaning as well. (See edition 11 for more)

One church, Laodicea, has only condemnation from God, and one, Philadelphia, has only commendation from our Lord. The last four are churches of the end times.

Philadelphia has some wonderful characteristics, which should be part of the church today.

God sets before this church an "open door which no one can shut" This implies a church with a strong missionary element. This church is identified with the "key of David"  This key is also spoken of in Isaiah 22:21-22 and relates to those who are a "father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and the house of Judah" This implies a strong Messianic character with a heart for God's plan for the Jews.

This is a church that has "little strength" implying that it trust on the Lord rather than self effort. It is a cross-bearing church.

This church is told that those of the "synagogue of Satan will bow down to it." This means simply that a distinction is made between the rabbinical, religious Jews. But even these will one day bow down to the truth.

The biggest and most powerful word of commendation to this church is "You have kept My word". In fact this is said of them twice!

This church is promised that it will be "kept out (Lit = clean out away from) of the tribulation, because it has kept My word" Obviously this is not referring to general tribulations, because we all face these often. This is referring to the seven year tribulation period.

This is clearly a church embracing the Abrahamic expression of faith, which is to the Jew and Gentile. It is a church embracing the full truth of God's word.

Here are some structural elements of the church:

●This early church had a strong missionary aspect to it under the leadership of the church apostles of the day.

●God's plan is for one church only, which is divided geographically and not doctrinally. It must be in unity "speaking the same thing" If you don't like the verse below, take a pair of scissors and cut it out of your Bible.

1 Corinthians 1:10 "Now I plead with you brethren by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and judgement."

Romans 16:17 "Now I urge you brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you learned and avoid them."

●The early church was Kingdom-orientated and not local church or denomination-orientated.

●The church must preach the "whole gospel"

Acts 20:27 "For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God."

●The church must participate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11

John 16:13 "When He the Spirit of truth has come, He will lead you into all truth...He will tell you things to come."

►Prophecy must be a major part of preaching and teaching. The organisation called Barna Research Group put together a shocking assessment of the modern church. The extensive survey showed that 96% of pastors don't teach or preach on end times!. 84% of people aged between 18-29 said that they had no idea how the Bible applies to them, which therefore makes it irrelevant.

There is a lot more in the Bible on the second coming and related issues than on the first coming. There is also a lot more in the Bible on hell than on heaven.

Perhaps the single biggest error of today is: Yeshua / Jesus may come back some time, and when He does He will come back spreading love, joy, peace and tranquillity.

He will come back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, bringing the judgement and destruction to all unbelievers. Perfection comes along in the Millennium after all unbelievers have been cast of this earth.

●Church leadership must be male. In the original languages many words have a gender association. Both "rabbi" and "pastor" are male words. There is not one example of a female rabbi or pastor in the entire Bible. There is no problem with females in other roles. There are examples of a prophetess for example.

●The church must root our Babylon in all its forms. It must identify with all the Biblical convocations, feasts and traditions.

●The church must guard against legalism creeping in and must operate in faith and grace rather than law and works. This obviously doesn't mean that there is no place for law and works.

●The church must teach and preach discipleship as outlined in the Bible (teaching) Keeping the apostolic tradition while rejecting the tradition of man.

Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you..."

This verse above is the key to discipleship. The word means "subjected pupil leaner" note that true discipleship involves teaching subjects to observe all things taught by our Lord.!

●A major mission of the church must be to stand for truth AND counteract error. The church was given the mission to stand as a bastion and pillar of truth.

1 Timothy 3:15 "...The house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth."

2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers and the will turn their ears away from the truth..."

1 John 4:1 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God..."

●Today the church has failed Israel. It has fulfilled Satan's plan revealed in the Catholic and Calvinist churches.

Ezekiel 34:10-13 "...I will cause them (shepherds) to cease feeding the sheep and the shepherds shall feed them no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them. For thus says the Lord God: Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out as a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so I will seek out M sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a dark and cloudy day. And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel..."

Convocations, traditions and practises:

There's no problem with a local church identifying to some degree with local culture, but some things must remain Biblical and never change.

The seven Feasts of the Lord are the Feasts of the Lord. They are not the Jewish feasts. If you are the Lord's person, you should identify at least in some way with these seven feast.

There is no excuse ever or anywhere for practising the satanic pagan traditions of Christmas, Easter, lent and all the others, inflicted upon the early church by the Catholics. If you do support these, you are a devil worshipper!

The Hebraic character of the church:

There is no doubt that the early church had a Hebraic flavour to it. It practiced the Feasts of the Lord, kept the Sabbath (Saturday) and had a great respect for the Torah. Gentile believers who came into the church came into this. It was only after Constantine and the Catholics that the Pagan satanic agenda and character was introduced and is still present in the church today.

Very few people, Christians included, know and realise that Satan's main aim was to replace the Hebraic character of the church with his own Babylon-based, pagan, satanic character. It was all designed to come against the Jewish natured church, because Satan knows that the true Messianic / Hebraic church will result in many Jews getting saved, which will lead to his defeat. Satan knows that when the Jews get saved in great numbers, his days are up. Of course he wants to delay his own destruction.

The early church celebrated the Feasts and kept the Saturday Sabbath as did our Lord and saviour. By the way, Yeshua / Jesus broke the law of the Pharisees, which had many things added to it. He in no way broke the law itself.

The table below shows the Hebraic character on the left and the Catholic / pagan founded character on the right. One would think that even if the church had created these occult convocations on the right, that they would also recognise the God-created convocations on the left. But no, the church now practises only the pagan festivals and rejects the Godly ones! If you don't believe me, look up the origin of everyone on the right hand side. You'll see that they all originate in devil worship!

yeshuajesusfeasts2

So, not only has the church lost it's Hebraic character it has replaced it with devil worship! It has become respectable to the world and it's god.

Hosea 7:8 "Ephraim has mixed himself among the peoples, Ephraim is a cake unturned (half-baked) Aliens have devoured his strength but he does not know it..."

We don't keep the law for salvation, but the Spirit of God will lead us in obedience to the law of God. The funny (or not so funny) thing is that the Calvinist / Catholic founded church insists on keeping pagan feats and days as law!

Yeshua / Jesus did not become a Gentile. He was King of the Jews, as He is now and will be forever.

The Gentile church calls Him Jesus, but that's a transliteration. Here's how the name evolved:

yah_evolution

You may have noticed I call Him Jesus sometimes and Yeshua / Jesus most times. I use the two together simply so that both Jew and Gentile know exactly who I'm referring to. Bear in mind that the name Jesus is offensive to most Jews, because of the mass murder and hatred shown them by the Catholic church through the ages.

This is the name above all names. It is Hebrew for Jesus the Messiah:

yeshuahamoshiach

It's not that critical which name we use, what is far more important is who we are referring to! The Bible itself calls our Messiah by many names. The problem though, with the name Jesus, is that it has lost it's Hebrew / Jewish connection and been fully Gentilized!

What did our Lord and Messiah look like? We really don't know, except that he was Jewish. He would have had the same characteristics as the Jews of His day. The images below are a compilation of a few possibilities:

yeshuacompilation

Our Jewish Messiah in no way looked anything like the Catholic-based sickly sweet blue-eyed paintings and images that we see through history, represented below:

►The following "How to preach..." lists are originally from the pen of Charles Finney some 200 years ago. I've modified them and added a few here and there.

How to preach so as to produce Godly results:

●Know that you are representing the authority of the living God.

●Know that you are working for God and not your hearer.

●Preach the exclusivity of Christ crucified and how to take up your own cross daily.

●Preach the full gospel including its offensiveness, goodness, severity and hard sayings.

●The church must preach against sin and on how to be overcomers.

●Preach on the necessity for holiness and separation from sin and worldliness.

●Preach so as to produce tears of regret and repentance in the fear of God.

●Preach so that your hearer has no escape and knows God has him in His sights.

●Peach pointedly to those in your presence, not being vague and general.

●The church must come against paganism within itself, if it wants to be clean before God.

●Preach Yeshua / Jesus the Lamb and the Lion of God.

●Preach eschatology (end-time events) It's the most powerful tool of evangelism.

●Preach to prepare your hearer to stand before the living God as you will.

How to preach so as to produce spiritual death:

churchpathdark-lg

●Have a Biblically unqualified preacher.

●Make sure you are well prepared not to offend Satan.

●Preach so as not to offend anyone or any popular lifestyles.

●Avoid preaching offensive doctrines on law, judgement and hell.

●Do not teach the cross and how to take up your own cross.

●Don't preach on the need for repentance and overcoming.

●Don't preach on eschatology and don't stress any urgency.

●Be a friend of the world, it's ways, and it's entertainment.

●Preach Jesus the Lamb, as He was at the first coming only.

●Do not appeal to the conscience of your hearers or to their feelings.

●Make sure your hearers have nothing to fear, especially not God.

●Make your hearers feel at ease, loved and comfortable in whatever state they're in.

●Don't dare touch controversial subjects in which Satan has sewn confusion.

●Use manipulation techniques like a special voice and shout a lot.

●Be very general and vague when dealing with sin. Don't be dogmatic on truth.

●Make it your great aim to be very popular with everyone. Be politically correct.

●Preach universalism, religious pluralism, tolerance and coexistence.

●Preach so that people will greet you at the door afterwards saying, "That was wonderful."

Here's what happened to the 12 apostles after a life of service to our Lord. If Yeshua / Jesus was a fraud, surely these 12 and the many others, would have denied our Lord to save their lives, especially from such violent horrific deaths.

apostlesdeaths82893_n

The church must produce true believers. Here is the single biggest measure:

There is one huge big indicator of the reality of your salvation. It's got nothing to do with feelings!

►Here it is: Are you an overcomer? It's easy to say yes to that question, but let's look a bit more deeply into it.

Have a look at the shocking verses below and note that they're all conditional. They speak of overcoming the devil in the world. (Editions 109 to 111 deal with Satan's attack on believers through the world the flesh and the demonic.)

We as believers must overcome the devil in the world system.

Are you a church leader who worships the great satanic god - entertainment today? Please read the following verses.

Is your church teaching you to be an overcomer or a follower of the world?

1 John 5:4 "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world."

1 John 2:13 "...I write to you young men, because you have overcome the wicked one."

Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

Revelation 2:7 "...To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God."

Revelation 2:11 "...He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death."

Revelation 3:5 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and His angels."

Revelation 3:21 "To him who overcomes, I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne."

2 Timothy 2:12 "If we endure (lit- overcome) we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will also deny us."

If you do not overcome, or are not on that road, the following verse may apply:

Matthew 7:22 "Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness ."

The word "many" in the above verse means: a great abundance or plentiful group. That is shocking!

The only group who can qualify for the above verse are professing Christians! These are they who have not overcome!

By the way, there're many more verses of scripture throughout the Bible dealing with overcoming and they're all consistent! The people of all seven of the letters to the churches in the Revelation are warned to overcome...no exceptions.

I was chatting with a 'believer' the other day, who worships Hollywood. I just thought to myself, it's not so much a matter of bowing down to Satan, it's that he wants to! Most believers today have not overcome, simply because they don't want to.

They're in love with the world and are secretly in love with sin and evil.

According to the verses above, they're in grave danger. They may think they're saved, but just might qualify for that eternally fateful verse above in Matthew!!

Don't argue with me and send me emails. Read the "overcome" verses above without your church glasses on. Read those verses...how are you going to get around them?

One of the biggest and most important things the church must do is teach how to overcome the devil in the world, the flesh and the demonic. (See editions 109 to 111)

Many ministers especially those in the excesses of the prosperity crowd are not teaching their people to overcome. They're teaching how to be followers of the world.

Summary

So, what is the perfect church?

Now, of course the perfect church is idealistic, but hey, it's in the Bible. It's God's plan. Our Lord has only one body and one plan. Yes He does use churches that don't meet the criteria. He uses many churches in spite of their divisions and problems. There are many that are counterfeits, but many that want the truth.

As we move ahead and things start shaking, you can be pretty sure that many churches will repent and come into His great restoration. I believe that a great many churches will be swept up in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and reform themselves very quickly.

Even now there are many who are breaking away from their pagan-filled past into glorious newness. Many are questioning and looking for the truth.

The truth is out there, but it's not available to many. It's exclusive. The truth is available only in faith and to them that "diligently seek Him". Hebrews 11:6

Finally

If you're going the right way, it will be deeply fulfilling and joyful to walk in holiness! If holiness is a burden, you are far from God. (See edition 96 on Holiness for more)

If holiness is a deep desire drawing you forward and a great attraction...you are going the right way!

If you are going the right way, there will many things that you will affirm and many things that you will reject. This is right and must be so.

We are going to live forever. Shouldn't we be concerned about preparation for eternity? Wouldn't you like to have an all new life in a body that never ages or gets sick, that's made of glory, incorruptible and completely supernatural and with full, perfect knowledge?

The true church produces deep glorious life, while the counterfeit church produces spiritual death dressed up as life!

Psalm 57:7 "My heart is steadfast O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. Awake my glory! awake lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you O Lord among the peoples; I will sing to you among the nations. For your mercy reaches into the heavens, and your truth unto the clouds."

If only he knew then what he knows now!! Vincent van Gogh was no believer. After his suicide he undoubtedly went to hell. Here is a painting of a church in Auvers done in 1890 by a man now in hell. Interestingly most of the church in France today will join Vincent one of these days.

The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace
