Dramatic news events
A number of news events have just occurred that are so important that they need to be dealt with now. They are shocking indeed, but also point to the veracity of Bible prophecy and the soon coming of our Lord.
As regular readers know I've often spoken of the coming onslaught on Israel by the world and supported by much of the church. This issue is of major importance. The Bible prophecies that Israel will be betrayed by a large part of the church. Israel is the rising fence that no one can straddle. It is the issue that will cause many to run with the world peacemaker, Satan, straight down the road to hell.
Why is it that so much of the church is now openly coming against Israel in a concerted manner? It's almost as if some invisible force is directing them from the sidelines!
Matthew 12:30 "If you're not with Me you are against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters." This verse flies in the face of modern day thinking. Note it does not say "if you are not with Me that's okay because your opinions are valid."
Here are the events that I will look at:
●The Catholic church turns on Israel.
●The Methodist church condemns Israel.
●The Anglican church in a move that threatens Israel.
●The Presbyterian church comes against Israel.
●World Council of churches continues with it's anti-Israel program.
●Palestinians to declare statehood in 2011.
The church greatly endangers Israel.
●Catholic church calls for Israel to get out of the "occupied territories." In a two week synod a few days ago at the Vatican, Middle Eastern bishops of the Catholic church decided that Israel was the "root of the Middle East woes" The final statement declared that Israel must end "occupation". It went on to say that security barriers, military checkpoints, the jailing of terrorists were the reasons behind many of the problems.
In clarifying remarks the synod declared that "the Holy scriptures cannot be used to justify the return of the Jews to Israel and the displacement of the Palestinians" The notion of a "Jewish state" was rejected.
Israel's ambassador to the Vatican, Mordechai Levi, decried the synod's view.
A week ago Benedict XVI and Vatican bishops called on the international community to "take the steps to put an end to the 'occupation' of the territories" The Vatican called for Jerusalem to be given a special status which involves dividing it.
Israel's deputy foreign minister Daniel Ayalon reacted angrily to this, calling it "Arab propaganda."
●The Methodist annual conference has now reviewed its policy on Israel. The church voted to boycott products from Israeli "settlements" calling them illegal. It enflamed the Israeli Chief Rabbi "This is a sad day for Jewish-Methodist relations". The Methodist Conference has "swallowed hook line and sinker a report full of inaccuracies, misrepresentations and distortions of Israeli policy" he said. "The Methodist church should hang its head in shame, just as surely as it will cause the enemies of peace to cheer from the sidelines."
The report also declares that Zionism, and in particular Christian Zionism, is incompatible with Methodist beliefs. The 54-page report was produced by a working group chaired by the Rev Graham Carter, a former president of the church. It states: "The key hindrance to security and a lasting peace for all in the region is the occupation of Palestinian territory by the state of Israel, now in its fifth decade."
It omits mention of Hamas's desire to eliminate Israel.
●Anglican archbishop of apostasy.The archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, the head of the worldwide Anglican Church, recently proclaimed, "Christian doctrine is offense to Muslims."
One publication said "It's hard to know where to begin to assess such a statement, when one considers the source. Officially, the archbishop of Canterbury is the chief bishop and principal leader of the Church of England, the symbolic head of the worldwide Anglican Communion and the diocesan bishop of the Diocese of Canterbury".
Not only did the archbishop apologize to Islam for Christianity, he turned history on its head in the same document, accusing Christianity of "being promoted at the point of a sword."
The Anglican church has long been a voice of enmity towards God's plan for Israel, being an adherent to the evil doctrine of replacement theology. (I must add that there are some within the Anglican church who do support Israel)
Retired South African Anglican Tutu has just renewed his call for a boycott of Israel.
●A new organisation called Churches for Middle East Peace has just organised a "religious rally against Israel". It's participants include many mainstream denominations. Some of these include sections of the Catholic church, the Anglican church, the Methodist church, the Presbyterian church, the Alliance of Baptists , the American National Council of churches and other Calvinist churches. One participant called Friends of Sabeel called for the dissolving of the Jewish state and replacing it with a "multi-ethnic Palestine".
●Presbyterian church of the USA at its recent synod adopted a dangerous new policy. This is called the Middle East Study Committee (MESC) and was put together by a group of theologians who set out to use theology to delegitimize the Jewish state of Israel. This group calls for the US to withhold financial and military support to Israel. It apologizes to the Palestinians for the fact that the church conceded that Israel has a right to exist. It denies any connection between biblical covenants and the Jewish people. Oddly, this new Presbyterian policy is sub-titled "breaking down walls" It will in fact do the opposite. Reading through all the details it is nothing short of a declaration of war against Israel.
The Anti-Defamation League called this new policy an "offensive attack on Israel, which mixes toxic bad history with politically motivated distortions."
●The World Council of Churches (WCC) has always been anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian. There is a 'same-spirit' among all its members. In fact all multi-faith organisations are anti-Israel without one single exception. In 2007 the evil multi-faith WCC launched an anti-Israel global initiative. It has spearheaded many others since then.
In reading up on all the recent World Council of Churches material, I felt a terrible deathly spirit of antichrist over all the material. Some of it made me very angry. In fact I won't even write on it, it just makes me feel sick. I have not one single positive word or thought towards them. This organisation is prime-evil in disguise.
Isn't it interesting that many of these church institutions are dying dinosaurs in their own right, yet still have the energy to launch attacks against the work of God!
Israel in growing danger:
There is a fast rising swell of churches around the world taking a stand against God's plans for Israel, Jerusalem and the Jews. Many others are complicit in their silence, but what is particularly important is that many are now coming out in open attack.
Why is this happening:
Firstly, a large part of the church is coming against Israel because it's politically correct to do so.
Secondly, it's happening because deceived, blind leaders are following a spirit and the people at large couldn't be bothered to find out what God's word says. They are blindly submitting their spirit and soul to their church leaders and church doctrine without question.
Please don't email me and tell me not to point out all this stuff and just let things be. My friends, that would not be walking in love. Love warns of coming danger. We are heading for very dangerous times. Eternity is at stake for many!
Judas the betrayer:
Right in the midst of the disciples was the betrayer. Judas thought he was right in what he was doing. He was politically correct. He had the unsaved world (the Romans) on his side. Although the betrayal led to the crucifixion, what Judas and his unsaved partners couldn't see was that God had a plan of victory right through it all!
The betrayer committed suicide and went to hell. His work of betrayal failed. He thought he was right, but ignored Gods plan. He was the failure. All those that were on his side were left in ultimate failure. Our Lord rose from the dead into glorious victory as will all of His true disciples.
Today a large part of the church is the betrayer of God's purpose and plan to bring salvation to the Jews and through them to complete His plan, which He began thousands of years ago. Church betrayal will result in a second Holocaust, but in the midst of it God's plan will be accomplished and ultimate glorious victory will be the end, while the betrayers will be doomed. Church betrayal will result in them being cut off! (Romans 11:22)
You can't come against the work of God ultimately. You can try but you will broken in pieces.
Replacement theology (supersessionism)Replacement theology holds that Jews are not actually Jews. Christians are! It is the evil doctrine that replaces Israel with the church. It maintains that God has finished with the Jews and has no future plan for them. It maintains that all the curses in the Bible are now upon the Jews and all the blessings are on the church. It maintains that the eternal covenants God made with the Jews are for the Christians and that they have no relevance for the Jews. It maintains that the church has superseded the Jews. It rejects any importance for the city of Jerusalem.
Replacement theology was brought into focus by Martin Luther, who wrote a series of the most hateful words against the Jews ever. His writings prefigured the Nazi holocaust almost exactly. Interestingly Hitler often quoted these words written by Luther.
Luther's works volume 47: "The Jews are a miserable accursed people. What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people...we dare not tolerate them. We should set fire to their synagogues and schools and bury and cover whatever will not burn, so that no one will ever see a cinder of them. This is to be done in honour of our Lord and Christendom. I further advise that their houses also be seized, burned and destroyed....their Talmudic writings and prayer books must be taken from them...and much more. Luther died two days after this cursed writing. These volumes go on to define replacement theology.
Interestingly, the Lutheran church today is strong into replacement theology.
Replacement theology leads to replacement reality! The church (much of it) is and will again be responsible for a great many troubles that are coming on Israel.
Most are not aware that Hitler wanted to create a millennium of peace. He believed the Jews were an obstacle to this. Today the world's "roadmap to peace" is essentially no different. It aims to set up Middle East peace, which will translate into world peace, by replacing Israel with Palestine and the Jews with the Palestinians.
Don't be so naive and deceived as to think that the Palestinians want to live under a two state solution. If they do accept it, it will only be as a strategy to take the whole land.

Who are the Palestinians?
The Arab people who became known as the Palestinians were of many different origins. Most originate in Jordan and Egypt and some from Cypress. The majority originated way back from the Philistine people and not from the land of Israel. Palestine on any map is a region and not a country. It was never a state. The Jews never displaced anyone from a country that didn't exist.
The land was given by God to the Jews, then it fell to the Romans, then it came under Ottoman control, then the British mandate controlled it, then the UN gave it back to the Jews.
Here is an excerpt from the Palestinian Charter(PLO) It is directly contrary to God's prophetic will and plan:Article 22: "Zionism is a political movement organically associated with international imperialism and antagonistic to all action for liberation and to progressive movements in the world. It is racist and fanatic in its nature, aggressive, expansionist, and colonial in its aims, and fascist in its methods".
"Israel is the instrument of the Zionist movement, and geographical base for world imperialism placed strategically in the midst of the Arab homeland to combat the hopes of the Arab nation for liberation, unity, and progress. Israel is a constant source of threat vis-a-vis peace in the Middle East and the whole world."
"Since the liberation of Palestine will destroy the Zionist and imperialist presence and will contribute to the establishment of peace in the Middle East, the Palestinian people look for the support of all the progressive and peaceful forces and urge them all, irrespective of their affiliations and beliefs, to offer the Palestinian people all aid and support in their just struggle for the liberation their homeland." (Hogwash!)
●Ramallah October 2010: Salam Fayyad said that they would declare statehood in the summer of 2011.
●A joint survey of Israelis and Palestinians published last week revealed that the majority of Israelis want peace and the majority of Palestinians want war and reject peace talks.
●Reuters (October11 2010) : "Israel makes settlements offer; Palestinians say no." Prime Minister Netanyahu offered Palestinians a trade off. This incorporates a freeze on building of settlements, if they recognise Israel as a Jewish state.
Democracy:
Please don't send me emails on this, it won't change what I believe.
Democracy has been elevated to god-status by the god of this world.
If we were in 1940 now and we had 10 people in a room and we voted on weather homosexuality was okay or not. Realistically, we might get 9 against, citing Biblical opposition to homosexuality as a reason, and one in favour. Democracy would vote homosexuality out. Now fast-forward to today and the same scenario. Now we would get something like three against and seven in favour and democracy would say it's okay. What has changed? God's word hasn't. Modern man has changed, replacing God's values with their own.
Democracy will eventually vote God down and out, in fact its already happening at an alarming pace.
Democracy is and will vote Israel out and the Palestinians in. It will vote for a divided land and city of Jerusalem. It will eventually vote for the antichrist himself.
Democracy is only okay when it is itself in subjection to the word of God. Democracy is on a hell-bent collision course with the living God!
In fact anything released from God's influence will manifest the spirit behind it..
I'm not suggesting a theocracy, I'm simply warning of the inherent dangers of democracy. Most people think that the majority is right. They believe in safety in numbers. There will be a great number in hell.
Prophecy spells it out:
930 times the Bible declares that Israel belongs to the Jews!
Christian, you can only give the Palestinians their "rights" to the land of Israel if you replace the Word of God with your own word!
Genesis17:8 "I give to you and your descendants the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession and I will be their God."
Jeremiah 3:10, 31 "Hear the word of the Lord O nations and declares this in the isles afar off and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him...for the Lord has redeemed Jacob." Behold the days are coming says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah...for I will forgive their iniquity and remember their sins no more."
Ezekiel 11:16-19 "Although I have cast them off among the Gentiles and although I have scattered them among the countries, I will be a little sanctuary for them in the countries...Then I will give them one heart and will put a new Spirit within them and take away the stony heart."
Ezekiel 20:41-42 "I will accept you as a sweet aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered and I will hallowed in you before the Gentiles. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for which I lifted My hand in an oath to your fathers."
Amos 9:14-15 "I will bring back the captives of My people Israel, they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them. They shall plant vineyards and make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land and no longer shall they be pulled up, from the land I have given them says the Lord."
Zechariah 2:12 "The Lord will take possession of Judah and His inheritance in the Holy Land and will again chose Jerusalem. Be silent all flesh before the Lord."
Prophetic judgement on the end time church and those in replacement theology:
Ezekiel 36:2-7 "The Lord says: "Because the enemy has said of you (Israel) , Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession" Therefore O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord, surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and all Edom (Arabs), who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with whole hearted joy and spiteful minds in order to plunder the open country...I have lifted My hand in an oath to Israel, that the nations around you shall bear their own shame, but you Israel shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit."
Isaiah 49:26 "I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with wine. All flesh shall know that I am your Saviour and your redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."
Isaiah 51:22-23 "See (Israel) I have taken out of your hand the cup of trembling and the dregs of the cup of My fury: You shall no longer drink it. I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to you, 'lie down that we may walk over you'..."
Jeremiah 30:16 "Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured and all your adversaries will go into captivity. Those who plunder you shall become plunder and all who prey on you I will make a prey". vs22 "You shall be My people and I shall be your God."
Amos 1:13 "For the transgression of the people of Ammon (Arabs), I will not turn away it's punishment, because they ripped open the women with child, that they might enlarge their territory."
Zechariah 12:3 "It shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem and I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples and all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it."
Romans 11:21 "For if God did not spare the natural braches (Jews), He may not spare you either...If you do not continue in His goodness you will be cut off." vs25 "For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own eyes that hardening in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in."
1Timothy 4:1 "The Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith giving heed to deception and doctrines of demons."
2 Thessalonians 2:3 "That Day won't come unless the great apostasy comes first"
What can you do:
What you need to do is find out what your church believes on the Israel, Jerusalem, Jew issue. Find out what your church leader believes on replacement theology. It is not my right or duty to tell anyone to leave this or that church. What I am saying is that the fence is rising fast and your eternal destiny could depend on these issues.
Don't get involved with some of these organisations with a right-wing political agenda. Don't get involved with any organisation that supports violence. We as believers walk in love, but sometimes that love also means separation and a breaking from the evil spirits at work in mounting an ever increasing resistance to Israel and Gods work of bringing them to salvation.
There are a great many churches fast becoming aware of these issues and changing their tune. They are now aligning themselves with God and His work. You may want to seek out a church that is open to this.
Summary:
The only way you can adopt an anti-Israel approach is by denying or casting down the truth of the Bible and prophecy in particular. Many of Israel's enemies in the church do use the Bible but in an allegorical manner. In other words they cast down the literal meanings and foist into it whatever they want it to say.
Isaiah 59:14 "The truth has fallen in the street"
We are on the verge of monumental times. Many will betray Israel. Thankfully, many will not. Many who do will repent and change their ways in line with the Bible.
There are fearful consequences for betraying Israel.
Perilous times are upon us and in the midst is glory and victory.
In the midst of all the confusion, betrayal and apostasy, God will have His watchmen for Israel. He will have many who will be a blessing to Israel. He will have His glorious church moving ever forward with Him in victory.
There is one profound way to say safe and moving with God in these days and that is to have a humble, broken attitude before our Lord and His word. A soft heart and a head full of the WORD is the way to glory.
Matthew 16:3 "You hypocrites, you know how to discern the face of the sky, but you can't discern the signs of the times!"
Matthew 24:33 "When you see all these things know (command) that its near right at the very door."
Hebrews 10:25 "Exhort one another, so much more as you see the Day approaching."
Heaven or hell:
These images were taken of Benedict meeting and praying with Muslims and other religious leaders in a multi-faith meeting in Jerusalem recently. The multi-faith movement sounds good and politically correct. If there are other ways to be saved, the cross and shed blood of our Lord were meaningless.
Only the cross and shed blood of our Lord offer salvation. All other roads may lead to Rome, but be careful, Rome is doomed. Some religious leader giving legitimacy to other religions doesn't legitimise them with God. If you believe that there are other legitimate ways to heaven other than through the cross of Calvary, you are in grave danger.

This is a really amazing painting by Marc Chagall. It is titled "resistance" It symbolises centrality of the cross, but also the resistance of the people to the work of God in their midst. Unfortunately there is no difference today!
