Truth and error travel the same highways:

There is a principle evident in the scriptures especially in Proverbs. The Bible speaks of knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Knowledge is the intake of information, understanding is the digesting of it and wisdom is the application of it.

Knowledge on its own can be dangerous and puff you up in pride, but when it's being done in the spirit, this knowledge becomes revelation knowledge. The original word for knowledge is gnosis, but the word epi-gnosis means knowledge that is above ordinary knowledge.

My job in these editions is to bring you knowledge, which has come to me over a long period of time. It is to me epi-gnosis. It is your job to take it further and transform it to into understanding and wisdom.

There is one very important issue that we need to know in our pursuit of knowledge, understanding and wisdom and this is; It is impossible to know God or His ways outside of His family. If you are not born of the Spirit of God, all the knowledge in the world will still land you in hell.

The Bible declares that the things of the Spirit are spiritually discerned. We need to go through the cross of Calvary to enter the family of God and then we still need to apply the cross to the realm of our intellect. This is the way the knowledge and truth of God comes to us.

To give us further access to the deeper things of God we need to be baptised in water and the spirit. The foundation of salvation is like a tripod and we need all three legs. The new birth, adult water baptism, and spirit baptism. If one or more legs are missing the tripod will fall over.

Isn't it interesting how many believers with one or two of these legs missing just can't see the impassable gulf between the world and the kingdom of God.

The ways of deception:

Deception has spiritual roots but it grows in the ground of ignorance.

Truth, on the other hand, is always rooted in the knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God.

The first thing that deception always does is it obscure the cross. When the cross is obscured, the things and ways of God become nebulous and variable. When the cross is obscured, the ways of the world, the flesh, and the demonic become strong, simply because the application of the cross into our lives on a daily basis, breaks and separates us from the power of the world the flesh and the demonic.

When the cross is obscured our minds becomes the playground of all sorts of great ideas...all devoid of God.

When the cross is obscured, people become very worldly, filled with the sins of the flesh and a home for the demonic. When the cross is obscured, try as you much as you like, but you can't see that Satan is the god of the world and the ways of the world.

When the cross is being applied into our lives we receive sight to see clearly and we receive the power to walk in victory.

Today deception is growing on all fronts. It is becoming very powerful and widespread. In many instances it is blatant and in your face. In some cases it is subtle and lurks like a snake in waiting for its prey. Deception is dangerous in all its forms and has immense power.

It is a surprising and shocking thing to read what God thinks of the church, as revealed in the seven letters in the Revelation. Here we see just how successful deception becomes, with many churches falling into the trap of the devil. (Please read edition 11 for more on this)

Deception is essentially a spirit. With this being the case, it's almost impossible to identify it or deal with it outside of the gifts of the Spirit. 1 John 4: 1-6 "Do not believe every spirit but test the spirits, whether they're of God...We are of God and he who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

Candidates for deception:

The proud:  Personal pride or ego will blind you to the things of God. Pride is essentially trust in self. Humility before God and His Word always gives clarity of spiritual sight. How can you have sight and understanding if God is resisting you. James 4:6 "God gives grace to the humble and resists the proud" Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things and is desperately wicked."

The self seeking: James 3:14 "If you have envy, self seeking in your hearts...this wisdom is worldly, soulish and demonic"

The ignorant: Ignorance is a playground for demons. 2 Corinthians 11.14 "Satan transforms himself into an angle of light." In this day and age we need to have spiritual discernment and insight into the fact that Satan can and does appear in many forms. Ignorance of the prophetic word will also set you up for deception. In fact ignorance is one of the curses which comes upon people for failure to obey God's Word. Deuteronomy 28:28. The Lord will strike you with blindness, madness and confusion of heart. This is brought out further in Hosea 4:1-6  which is an amazing discourse on the rise or fall of a nation. It says "Because there is no truth mercy or knowledge of God in the land, the land will mourn...My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge."

Deception of customs and traditions in the church:

False doctrines and idolatry:

There are so many false doctrines in the church today, it would take a book to deal with them all. Some of the big ones that are hugely damaging include replacement theology. These are playgrounds of demons.

Colossians 2:8 "See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception according to the traditions of men".

 2 Peter 2:1,2 "There will be false teachers and prophets among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies...and many will follow their destructive ways, because of who the way of truth will be blasphemed".

The way and plan of God for the church is to be in unity. There is only one church. Our Messiah doesn't have many different bodies growing from His neck all divided (denominations) from each other.

1 Corinthians 1: 10 This condemns all sectarianism (denominationalism) as sin! We are to be "perfectly joined together in the same mind and judgement, speaking the same thing" Some may be thinking now that you can't believe I just said that. Well no I didn't...God did!

Sectarianism, denominationalism and division is deception.

Calvinism, Catholicism and other denominations which all have their own different divided sectarian beliefs and ways are all deceived. How can God be divided against Himself?

Bibles: (I will do a separate edition on this some time soon as it is a huge and very important subject)

The Bible is the Word of God or is it? Yes it is in it's original form. It is absolutely vital and of major importance to all true believers who love our Lord. Wouldn't it be logical then that Satan, who is the chief counterfeiter would want to bring confusion into the Bible itself.

Today there are many differing Bibles around. In fact choosing a Bible could be like walking through a mine field.

Very few people know this but as the Spirit of God moved over a group of people who compiled the Word of God, so the spirit of deception moved on another group of people to produce Spirit-less Bible. The two are irreconcilable.

An early church conference dealing with the Byzantine manuscripts (20,000 surviving) became the canon of scripture, inspired by God. The second was the Alexandra conference which authorised manuscripts which were essentially re-written by Origen and viewed as corrupt.

Bibles originating from Byzantine are the truth. Then a latin version came about and then The King James Version in English (which has some minor translational issues) The New King James version, which by-passes the latin version and goes back to the root of the the original manuscripts but is in modern English. It is the best by far.

Bibles originating in the corrupt Alexandra manuscripts include the New International version and many other modern Bibles.

The New International Version yields to modernism. It has 64,000 words omitted (compared to the Byzantine manuscripts) Many of these omissions and changes relate to major doctrines. It has numerous verses completely removed. Revelation  22:18 warns against changing the Word. Deuteronomy 4:2 and 12:32 also warns of the same thing.

The NIV will soon have a newer version called TNIV. (Today's NIV) This new version has even more changes including a host of changes making it gender-neutral. References to the Son, Father, He, Him and thousands of others have been removed.

The NIV is an exercise in translational treason and has led to much deception today.

You may think these issues are not important. They are the seeds of deception and error, which are becoming more and more dangerous as we move on towards the close of the age.

Very few Christians today know their Bibles never mind which ones are right.

Let me share with you a tragic example.

A friend of mine a while ago came running in with a big smile on his face yelling: "Did you hear...they've found out that Jesus was married and had kids" It just so happens that this individual doesn't know his Bible at all.

Isaiah 59: 14 "Truth is fallen in the street"

Believer, if you love our Lord, you need to love His Word as well. 2 Thessalonians 2:10 Speaks of those that "God will send strong delusion so that they believe the lie, because they didn't receive the love of the truth."

Romans 1: 18 is one of the few verses of scripture in which the wrath of God is evoked. "For the wrath of God is revealed against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness."

At the end of the day, deception is always the fault of the recipient. God has given us the answer, which is His Word and the tools needed to walk in truth and victory.

Deception is progressive. This is just the same as our walk with our Lord. It is progressive as well.

Luke 21: 8 "Take heed that you are not deceived"

Daniel 8:25 The coming of the antichrist will be shrouded in deception. "Through his cunning he will cause deception to prosper under his hand."

Deceptions of the world:

Blue Beam

The Blue Beam Project will deceive many. Essentially, its a technology simulated  second coming. Tests have already been done involving a holographic projection of a "Christ Image" Blue Beam promotes a new world order, one world religion. Holographic images projected from satellites of Christ, Mohamed, Buddha and others will 'merge' into one to produce a new 'One God'

The first step will be to cause a collapse of archaeological and other scientific understanding by bringing in supposed new discoveries that will falsify evidence already in existence supporting the Bible. The purpose will be to cause the masses to reject their foundational beliefs and undermine them, paving the way for a new multi-faith God encompassing all beliefs in a new powerful globalist movement.

The second stage will be a huge world-wide simultaneous staging of optical holograms and lasers with sound in 3D. NASA is involved secretly at this stage. These strong holograms will give the appearance that they have come from the sky, when in fact they will have been projected from satellites. This new unique divinity will in fact be the devil at work. He will explain that the Bible has been misinterpreted and misunderstood on a massive scale, setting the stage for his acceptance.

Some of you may be wondering if there was something wrong with the pizza I've just eaten. This is just ridiculous you say. Oh yes, I say! Well then please tell me why it has been so incredibly easy for someone like dan brown to deceive untold millions of Christians with his "Jesus was married and had kids" story.

By the way, if Jesus was married and had kids, then that blood line is still around today. If you know your Bible the blood of our Lord was supernatural. It was pure and without the Adamic sin-line in it. This sets the stage for someone in our day to declare that he is the new Messiah being the continuation of the pure blood line of Jesus.

It is only the blood of Jesus that cleanses from sin. Can you see the deceptive power of the devil in dan brown? The world stage is now set for another Christ to declare that he has supernatural powers originating in the blood line of Jesus.

The Blue Beam Project may sound out of this world, but actually its exactly the sort of thing of the devil would do to set the stage for his entrance. It may itself be a big deception.

Weather it comes off this way or not isn't really the issue, what is of critical importance is that need to have ourselves well armed and prepared to stand in the face of many coming deceptions.

The Bible warns of end time "lying signs and wonders"

The sheer numbers that are and will be deceived according to Bible prophecy are enormous to say the least.

Some other deceptions.

Perhaps the biggest most widespread and dangerous deception is that which is adhered to by most unsaved people, but is also very widely manifest in the church. Most unsaved people believe that if there is a God He would not send them to hell, because they are basically good. Many who are not truly born again of God, but do go to church, think the same thing. Well, going to church can't save you simply because it didn't die for you!

God saves no one , neither Jew nor gentile because they are good. He only saves those that gone through the cross.

Neutrality is a curse. The agnostic believes that the truth is unknowable, so they're neutral. Many others believe that absolutes are old fashioned. Isaiah 5:20 "Cursed are those who call evil good and good evil; who put light for darkness and darkness for light...woe to those who are wise in their own eye."

Many believe that truth is not important is relative and open to interpretation. This was the very first sin recorded in the garden of Eden. Satan said to Adam "Has God said you shall not eat of every tree" In other words...question God's authority...a very stupid thing to do!

The purpose of prophecy:

The purpose of prophecy is to give us eyes to see where we are, where not to go and where we should go. It is ultimately to glorify our risen Messiah. It is hated in many circles today, simply because it is in conflict with the ways and goals of the devil and his world. He always slams and brings confusion into whatever is against him.

The prophets of old were often despised by the people back then because they warned people that they were on the wrong track. These prophets of old were often loners, spending long periods of time in the deserts, seeking the face and wisdom of God. They were granted spectacular insight into Gods plans and purposes as they separated themselves from the masses. Today Bible prophecy is more important than ever. It a lot more important that hardly anyone can imagine! Ignore Bible prophecy at your own peril.

Masses will be saved:

One of the most interesting factors relating to the soon coming of our Messiah and the surrounding events is that untold masses will turn to the Lord. The Spirit of antichrist will intensify, but at the same time the Spirit of the Lord will be poured out causing many to get saved.

Joel 3:14 "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision, for the Day of Lord is near."

What is most important these days is to question things. Not in a big deal way, but to look for the truth. Truth can stand scrutiny without any problem. The problem is that so many just accept and receive anything and everything blindly.

Truth stands victorious:

One of the churches mentioned in the seven letters of the Revelation is without a single word of condemnation levelled against it by our Lord. It is highly favoured and commended. It is told; "Because you have kept My Word to persevere, I will keep you from the hour of tribulation coming on the whole world to test it." The church of Philadelphia is a glorious church free from deception, powerful and victorious.

Truth always leads to correct living while error always leads to wrong choices and a life set on the wrong road.

Truth is the road and path to the presence of God while error eventually leads to hell.

James 3: 17 The wisdom that is from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, yielding, full of mercy and with good fruits.

Heaven or hell:

Old man before you died you had every opportunity to make Yeshua / Jesus the Lord of your life. Did you? You know all about it now, but from your eternal home. Where are you now old man? You're not in your grave, that's just the remains of your body! If only you could speak to the living, what would you say? I wonder if  it would make any difference.

Young girl, you're alive now, you have your life before you. Are you going to waste it? Heaven or hell is before you and what you do now with the salvation offered by our Messiah of Glory will determine your eternal abode! Don't gamble with eternity!

Ezekiel's amazing prophecies: Form resurrection to nuclear war!

Before we discuss Ezekiel lets have a look at some history. Whenever there are historic patterns that repeat themselves we need to sit up and take note! History repeats itself sometimes with deadly consequences. Imagine going into war and knowing the outcome beforehand. I think that's what may be called having an unfair advantage. Except in this case it's an advantage alright and is completely fair. God's word says; "He declares the end from the beginning"

In 1948 World War Two had been finished for a short while and The League of Nations had just become the United Nations. One of its early resolutions was to give statehood to Israel. On May14 1948 the nation of Israel was born, bringing about a very important milestone in prophetic fulfilment. This infuriated the surrounding Arab nations.

1948 war of independence

24 hours after independence Israel was attacked by Arab armies much larger than their rag tag, very small army. The odds against Israel were huge to say the least. But this was the first of six wars that all ended in Israeli victory.

Now history is about to repeat itself with the most dramatic and tragic consequences the world has yet seen.

Firstly, just a word of warning. It's difficult to put a time line on prophetic events if the Bible itself doesn't. That said, the Bible does offer many indications and by applying simple logic we can see pretty clearly what fits in where. We must be clear and dogmatic on what the Bible is clear on. At the end of the day we have the Author living in our hearts and He will guide us and show us things to come.

Ezekiel sees 'dry bones' coming to life!

If you read the book of Ezekiel from beginning to end you'll note that it's prophecies are continuous in time following one after the next. In Ezekiel 37 we have one of the most incredible prophecies of the Bible. It is called the vision of the Valley of Dry Bones. It follows many of the prophecies of conflict with the Arab world which I've detailed in edition 16

Dry Bones is one of the most important prophecies of the spiritual new birth of the Jews at large. It is followed immediately by world war.

So, Israel's natural birth brought immediate war and now we see that Israel's spiritual new birth brings war again!

This is the amazing story of Dry Bones coming to life and then provoking the hatred of the world.

Ezekiel 37 outlines a vision given to him by God of a valley full of dry bones. God says to Ezekiel "Can these bones live?" He goes on to tell Ezekiel that He will cause breath to enter and then He will put sinews, flesh and skin on the bones. He will put breath into them and then they will "know that I am the Lord."

Ezekiel then hears the bones rattling and sees the bones coming together and as breath enters they live and stand on their feet "an exceedingly great army." Then God tells Ezekiel that these bones "are the whole house of Israel".

Verses 12 to 14 are amongst the most exciting in the Bible. "Thus says the Lord God, behold O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves and bring you into the land of Israel." Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves. I will put My Spirit in you and you shall live and I will place you in your land, then you shall know that I the Lord have spoken and performed it."

This is one of the clearest portions of scripture of the coming salvation to the Jews at large. It is directly associated with the return to the land of Israel as well. We are now at the start of this wonderful drama as more and more Jews are beginning to see that their Messiah is Yeshua / Jesus.

The Bible declares that God will bring the Jews back into their land in spiritual blindness and will then lift the veil, so to speak, and they will see and recognise who their Lord is. We are now at this point where these things are just getting started.

Ezekiel 38 and 39 comes right after 37!

Now that's not an unusual headline, but what is unusual is the content. Dry bones (chapter 37) coming to life speaks of a re-birth and new life. Well, now as the we see the incredible new birth of Israel on a spiritual level, we again see an almost immediate attack. The war of Ezekiel 38 and 39 takes place right after dry bones live. In fact it will most probably be while 'dry bones' are coming to life. Unlike the war of independence, this time it's a world war and the indications within Ezekiel are that it will be nuclear.

The odds stacked against Israel in this war are again monumental, but again Israel is victorious in the end. She does suffer great loss in the war. Israel has had the odds stacked against it in six major wars since independence and has won each time. What this actually means is that any nation coming against Israel really has the odds stacked against it and not the other way around.

After all these Messiah-less years and all the hardship and persecution, the Jews are now ready to complete and fulfil God's original calling on them to be a blessing and to bring salvation to the nations. This really is such wonderful drama!

The Ezekiel 38 and 39 war of Gog and Magog

Ezekiel identifies a number of time factors in this prophecy:

Ezekiel 38:7 says that it will be; "after many days and in the latter years, when you are brought back...from many peoples and are gathered on the mountains of Israel." This places the war in our day.

The nations mentioned in the Ezekiel prophecy which collectively come against Israel, come form the regions indicated in the map above. The exact modern locations might be a bit different, but this isn't important. What is important and without doubt is that the leader of this war will be modern day Russia, supported by many other Islamic nations. There is one important addition: Ezekiel says "and many peoples with you." This could refer to numerous other Arab Islamic states. I have indicated them as the "others" in the map above.

In modern day terms the nations who attack Israel are Russia, Turkey, Iran, Libya, Ethiopia, and various Islamic nations south of Israel. Some historians identify Gomer with Germany. We will see once the battle gets underway won't we!

One thing that is a certainty is that this will be an incredible and large mix of nations. The majority are Islamic.

This will be the war where God uses Israel to break the back of Islam.

Jeremiah 51:20  "You (Israel) are My battle axe and weapons of war, for with you I will break in pieces the  nations  and with you I will destroy kingdoms."

Note that the weapons spoken of by Ezekiel like swords etc are all he knew at the time. It does prophecy no harm to apply modern weaponry if the context and time places its fulfilment in modern times.

The attacking nations run headlong into the fury of God. He uses various supernatural 'weapons' as well like giant hailstones, and a massive earthquake.

The allies of Israel are mentioned in Ezekiel 38 : 13 These are "Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish and all their young lions." These are difficult to identify, but common interpretation says that the people of Tarshish originated from the Mediterranean sea area that is most probably around Spain today. They traded fine linen by sea with the people of what is today called Britain. The lion is a symbol of Britain and the 'young lions' would then be the main commonwealth powers.

Sheba and Dedan are now in the area of Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Kuwait. These nations may end up being allies of Israel. In fact they are kind of allies today.

This is not the war of Armageddon spoken of in The Revelation. That war is terminated by the return of our Messiah, while this one ends with Israeli victory. Armageddon is very short in time followed immediately with the commencement of the millennium. this one lasts seven years.

This war is commonly called the war of Gog and Magog. Ezekiel identifies Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. Gog was the name of a prince who lived in the area today called Russia. Magog simply means the people of Gog and Rosh is current day Russia. The name Gog could also be a reference to the spiritual prince or power behind him. It is symbolic of the antichrist spirit behind the Russian leader.

The war (and any other in the Middle East) could have dramatic effects on the world economy. As much as 40% of the world's oil travels through the straights of Hormuz, which are controlled by Iran. (part of Persia in ancient times) That nation could easily cripple the world economy or do substantial damage to it by sending the oil price sky high as a result of closure.

War involving the Middle East will inevitably result in oil wars. This will be one of the factors that will cause another world economic melt down, setting the stage for the Satanic /antichrist world economy grab which will result in financial control and domination. The fact that so much of the world's oil lies in Arab / Islamic countries is not accidental. I see it like a giant play with the actors waiting in the wings, about to come onto the stage. They meet their match in the Middle East!

Nuclear?

The language used by Ezekiel to describe aspects of this war indicate that it could be nuclear. We have not had a nuclear bomb dropped in hostile action since the close of World War Two. This will most likely be the next.

Ezekiel uses terms that imply great devastation which could be nuclear. "Fire and brimstone" and a "great shaking" are just two of them.

Military might will come from the air "like a storm covering the land, like a cloud covering the land" as well as by land and sea.

Ezekiel 39: 9 is remarkable and strange. It says that the weapons used will take seven years to destroy after the war. Verse 12 says that for "seven months the house of Israel will be burying the dead in order to cleanse the land." Verse 15 says that a "search party will mark the bones of the bodies, till the buriers come." These verses could be due to nuclear contamination.

Ezekiel 39:6 "I will send fire on Magog and those who live in security in the coastlands."

What sort of fire is this? It could be nuclear, but lets also bear in mind that God doesn't need the help of atom bombs, remember Sodom and Gomorrah!

The war of Isaiah 17 which sees the destruction of Damascus the capitol of Syria may be part of the Ezekiel war. Syria today was part of the much greater Assyria in Bible days. This Damascus war may also be nuclear. Personally I think it will be a separate war, but we will all find out soon, wont we!

We all know too well that the leader of Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map. We also know that he has nuclear aspirations. Iran will undoubtedly be one of the nations to meet its fate in Israel.

There are things in this war that we know for sure and other things that we can't be sure about.

We can't be sure about the exact timing of the war although it will most probably be just before the tribulation starts. We can't be sure if the USA will be involved, although it may classify as one of the 'young lions'. We cant be sure if it will be nuclear, although it may well be. We cant be sure who all the nations are today.

We can be absolutely sure it will be in our time. We can be sure it will involve Russia. We can be sure that it will be largely Muslim driven. We can be sure it will be one of the most devastating wars of all time. We can be sure that Israel wins and God defeats the enemies. We can be very sure that this war will confirm the spiritual rebirth of the Jews which started just before the war.

Israel's victory brings world peace:

Ezekiel 39 ends in a most wonderful way.

Verse 23 "The Gentiles shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity and because they were unfaithful to Me, therefore I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of the enemy and they fell by the sword."

Verse 25 "Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel.

Verse 28 "Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God...and I will not hide My face from them anymore, for I shall have poured out  My Spirit on the house of Israel."

Israel's long and hard fought road to survival and victory ends in natural and spiritual victory. These things will all transpire exactly the way God has spelt it out.

In the natural or physical, God will continue to use Israel to bring about the destruction of His enemies, ultimately resulting in world peace. On the spiritual side of things, God will continue to bring salvation to His people and only when this has all happened God's way, again peace will be the result.

Its not clear exactly when this war will take place. We do know that it is the latter years. We know that it is during the period of Israel's return to the land and spiritual awakening. We know that it takes seven years to clean up and we know that it results in Israeli victory.

Gog and Magog appear again in the Revelation, but this time they are used symbolically for Armageddon. The Bible often uses types and shadows as a double reference. The Revelation uses Gog and Magog because there will be many similarities. The two wars are not one and the same though.

The Ezekiel war sorts out once and for all who owns the land of Israel, Jerusalem and all its contents.

This war brings the world's 'roadmap to peace' to an abrupt halt in the most dramatic failure of all time. It sets Israel firmly in the land and in control.

Principle of attack:

There is a well established principle and pattern that has been evident throughout the scriptures.

It is that whenever God does something that is important, Satan attacks it. Where it relates to God's choice Satan always loses in the end. Its important for us to know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the driving Satanic, demonic forces in the background.

If the church were to come into unity in favour of God's choice in many of these issues, the outcome may have been different. But prophecy spells out the fact that much of the church will side with the devil against God.

You new -age preachers, deceived adherents to, and promoters of replacement theology in the church take note of this: God will breathe new spiritual life into the Jews, He will give them their land, all of it and He will destroy all enemies that come against His plans.

Pastors, priests and very reverends who promote replacement theology, you're working with and for the devil himself and you will lose! You're on the losing side.

Let me just add that there is no such thing as neutrality. If you say you neutral on these issues, no you're not. Our Lord says that if you're not for Me you're against Me.

The purpose of prophecy:

At the end of the day, knowledge of Bible prophecy is not designed to amuse us or give us more knowledge so that we can be informed and impress our friends. It's primary overriding purpose is to draw us, heart, mind and soul closer to our great Messiah. Knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God's prophetic Word is a very powerful tool of evangelism as well, but don't ever lose sight of the fact that it is given to us to defeat our own wisdom and replace it with the glorious wisdom of our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Prophecy, ultimately exalts and magnifies our Lord and His ways, purpose and plans. His ways are above ours and it is us not Him who need to make the adjustments.

The reason many people don't like Bible prophecy is that they have some sort of knowledge that it will interfere with their plans and life's goal.

So many times I have heard believers say; "No one knows the time, don't you know the Bible says nobody knows the time of the coming of the Lord." This isn't actually what they mean. What they really mean is; "Don't interfere with my happy life. Everything will carry on just as normal!

2 Peter 3:3 "Know that in the last days scoffers will come, walking according to their own lusts, saying where is the promise of His coming, all things will continue as they were."

No my friends, all things will not carry on as normal. God is about to intervene in the affairs of this world like never before. Prophecy, shows us things to come, giving us the grace of being well prepared and helping others to be prepared as well. Prophecy brings us face to face with a Holy, Righteous God, no arguments allowed.

This edition is a follow on from edition 15 on the new world order.

In this edition I would like to have a brief look at the three main paths to world peace. Only one will work

Today there are a number of new world order initiatives on the go. Some will take place within weeks in December. None are likely to be the final new world order treaty or government, but all are dramatic steps to this end. They are all deadly forerunners preparing the world one step at a time to swallow the devil's plan for world domination.

An organisation called the World Council of Religious Leaders recently came about. It's aims, outlined at its Millennium World Peace Summit, amongst others is to bring about collective wisdom for the establishment of a community of world religions and to inspire understanding in the pursuit of world peace.

In December we will see another organisation, the Council for a Parliament of World Religions convene in Australia. We will also see The UN's Copenhagen Climate Change Conference (which involves new world order discussions.) kick off in December. We've just seen the EU appoint its new President, who takes office at the end of December.

The coming antichrist system will have two arms to it. These will be a multi- faith ecumenical movement which will become the religious arm. This will be headed by the Biblical false prophet. Either this new Parliament of World Religions or a revised form of the World Council of Churches will be it. It will be headed by the devil in disguise and all of its participants will end in hell.

The political arm will most probably be a reformed United Nations or G20, headed by the EU or a revised form of it.. Either way it will be headed by the antichrist from the Biblical revised Roman Empire, which is the EU today.

The political arm and the religious arm will work side by side, driven by Satan in an attempt to bring world peace.

Why on earth would Satan work to bring world peace? Simply because, as the master of deception, if he could achieve it, he would suck almost the whole world into his domain. Because the whole world wants peace he will oblige! Satan is a master counterfeiter and he knows that Gods plan is to bring peace to the world. God will do this His way, but Satan will try to counterfeit it. His attempted peace will be false, deceptive and counterfeit, coming very close to the real thing in many respects along the way.

Satan's underlying objective is not be to bring world peace but domination and control. World peace will be his weapon.

This is all well described in hundreds of prophetic verses of scripture in both the old and new testaments. All the nations of the world eventually do hand over power to the antichrist.

The new appointment a few days ago of Herman van Rompuy as President of the EU is interesting. I can't say if he will be or won't be the final antichrist. I tend to believe he will be the forerunner. He has already (since appointment) said that he will work towards a new world order. "This is my desire" he said. His two year appointment has done away with the six month rotating president system.

He is relatively unknown, mild mannered, humane and Catholic with a background in high finance. I will watch his progress carefully.

High on the agenda of a new world order will be economic as well as environmental issues. Obviously this doesn't mean that everything to do with the financial world is to be avoided and likewise with environmental issues.

The environment was created by our Lord, not the devil. Yes it has the Adamic curse on it until the millennium begins, but we should still have an active concern for our environment. We need to simply steer clear of the new age mob.

Those interested, have a look some of the amazing verses of scripture relating to the environment at the top of the "God's Garden" section.

 1) The plan for peace by the World Parliament of Religions.

The new Parliament of World Religions kicks off in Melbourne Australia on the 3rd December...just a few weeks time. It will be one of the biggest conferences ever of this sort with many thousands of participants from all the regions and religions of the world.

It's main goal is to bring about a new world of peace for the common good of all humanity and nature. It's intention is to promote inter-religious harmony

It all sounds so good doesn't it?

There is one very big all important thing that we as believers need to bear in mind and heart: We need to be arrested  by the Word of God. It needs to be the source of our whole life and only dwelling place.

If other religions are legitimate and there are other ways to God, the cross of our Messiah would have been meaningless, to say nothing of the very many portions of scripture declaring that Yeshua / Jesus is the one and only way to salvation. Purity and separation from the ways of the world are key factors for the true believer.

The cross of our Messiah gives us victory over the world the flesh and the demonic and puts us in another world so to speak. Now don't get all weird and take things to ridiculous extremes!

If you are not saved the Bible way you are going to hell. So then how can you walk and work together with other religions. You see, there are two major things standing in the way of world peace the world's way:

1) The cross of our Messiah. The cross brings salvation to our spirit beings. Then after we're saved we still need the application of the cross into the soul realm of our lives. It delivers us from the root of humanism and separates us from the world and its ways.

2) All of the prophetic Word relating to Israel, Jerusalem and the Jews. The Bible is very clear on exactly what role Israel will play and I can assure you its not the world's way! The world's 'road-map' to peace is not God's way. If you go down this road you will meet God in the middle of the road

If you want world peace the world's way, you will ultimately have to deny our Lord, reject His Word and get rid of God's prophetic plan for Israel!

2 Corinthians 6:17 "Come out from among them and be separate" James 4: 4 "Friendship with the world is enmity towards God...Whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." Amos 3:3 "How can two walk together lest they be agreed."

There is only one thing that describes this World Parliament of Religions and that is Babylon. The main characteristic of Babylon was the attempt to reach God and bring peace to the world in collaboration with all the Babylonian occult religions. God would have none of it and destroyed the whole lot.

This is exactly the same thing. Unfortunately there will be hundreds of so-called Christians in attendance. Beware, many Christians will become nothing more than useful idiots in the hands of the devil.

Every aspect of this World Parliament is cursed.

2) Islam's plan for world peace:

Islam's desire for Britain recently expressed in mass demonstrations is much the same as its plans for the world.

The World Parliament wants to bring peace to the world by tolerance while Islam wants to bring peace to the world by domination

The Prince of Peace Yeshua/ Jesus will bring peace to the world when He returns to Jerusalem in the midst of world war and puts an end to it all. He then sets up the true new world. At this time Satan, who is the inspiration behind all rebellion to God is banished, preparing the way for real world peace.

Islam also wants world peace, but to them, a world of Islam is world peace and the way to get there is by crushing all in its path.

Islam's big mistake:

Of course this isn't true for the moderate or nominal Muslims, but it most certainly is the case for true radical Islam. (Radical means "going to the root")

The short over-riding bottom line is this: Islam believes that Moses was called of God to form the Muslim religion and bring it to the world. He failed, so God moved on to the prophet Jesus and the apostles, who were also true Muslims and were also supposed to do the same thing. They failed, so God moved on to His final act which was to form the Muslim religion and bring it to the world through the prophet Mohammad. He is the answer and only way to world peace in their view.

Let me add that by world peace they mean a Muslim dominated world. By peace they mean, no more opposition to themselves.

The meaning of the word Islam means submission to the will of Allah.

You may not be aware of it; Islamic Shariah law governs every aspect of human life including: When to lie, when to kill an apostate, how to run a government, the correct way to beat a wife and many more.

There are certain sects within Islam that do believe that other religions have legitimacy. But again they believe that world peace will only be achieved when all religions come into a Islamic unity. Many of these adherents will be at the conference in Melbourne mentioned above. They believe that working with other religions is a means to their end.

In their view, because the Jews and Christians failed in their mission, God rejected them and therefore they have no legitimacy today. The root of Islam believes that the very existence of the Jews, a Zionist state and the very existence of the Christians is an anathema. They believe that the Jews and Christians of the world stand in their way to bring Islam to the world.

This is the root of the conflict. Please read edition 16 on the Arabs / Palestinians in prophecy for more on this subject.

●An Egyptian Muslim cleric Amin Al-Ansari recently said this on Al Rahma TV "Judgement day will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. The Muslims will kill the Jews, be patient"

●Hezbollah: All of Israel is now within our range of fire" (November 12)

3) The way of our Messiah:

Isaiah 9: 6 "His name will be called Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace and of the increase of His Government and peace there will be no end."

This is the way it will all work in the end. It will occur in fullness after the second coming and setting up of the millennium, but before this happens Daniel 9 is in play.  It speaks of the fact that "wars and desolations are determined."

Daniel 8:25 "Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper...he shall destroy many in their prosperity and peace." This is the way of the antichrist. Just as the world thinks it has achieved peace and shortly after the fateful peace treaty is signed with Israel, the devil will reveal his true character and turn on all who have put their trust for peace in him.

1Theselonians 5: 3 "For when they say peace and safety then sudden destruction comes upon them as a thief, and with labour pains and they shall not escape."

In front of the UN building in New York is a massive sculpture entitled "Let us beat our swords into ploughshares." It's title is part of a quote from Isaiah 2:4 Which says "Let us beat our swords into plooughshares and our spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore."

Here it is:

Oooo! How nice! what a looovely idea, it sounds just like John Lennon's "Imagine." Here are a few verses from his theme tune of hell! "Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try, no hell below us, above us only sky...I hope someday you'll join us and the world will be as one." Right now at this point in time John Lennon knows how wrong he was, but it's too late!

The only problem is that what comes before world peace from God's prophetic point of view is an Armageddon verse in Joel 3 :9,10 "Prepare for war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near. Beat you ploughshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears."

The UN and all other new world order organisations may think that they can bring peace to the world, but no they can't!

Not only will they not bring peace to the world but they will all end in hell for their failure to recognise the one and only true saviour of the world. This is an end far worse than any can imagine!

Isaiah 48:22 "There is no peace for the wicked"

Psalm 119: 165 "Great peace have they that love your Word and nothing causes them to stumble."

John 14:27 "My peace I leave with you, not as the world gives, give I unto you, let not your heart be troubled nor fearful."

The way of our Messiah is the way of true peace. It is fully available to any who would chose to go His way. He brings us wonderful peace and joy internally in the face of escalating external troubles. And after the world has met its match, and been defeated, then comes external world peace as well.

How amazing is this. We win on all fronts!

Summary:

In this edition I have presented you with three paths to world peace. They are as different as can be with two being of the devil himself and will end in world war and ultimately in hell.

The first is the way of tolerance and the second is the way of domination, neither are Gods way.

The third is God's way and will end in true world peace, but only after a brief visit to this nice calm location in the image below. No, not for a nice eased out, sun-tanning holiday. This is the Jezreel valley, also known as the valley of Megiddo, the scene of the battleground of Armageddon and the futile end of all the world's attempts to do things without God.

The new World Parliament of Religions will fail to bring world peace, just as its predecessor, Babylon did. it will bring the judgement of God to the world as they strive for peace their own way. Islam will fail to bring world peace. It will bring only violence, hatred and misery.

Only the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, THE Prince of Peace, Messiah Yeshua / Jesus will bring world peace. Final, complete, total world peace is coming soon. Peace is coming to Jerusalem and the world. A new Jerusalem is coming to Jerusalem as well, further down the line, but more about that another time.

Revelation 11: 15..."The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever."

This takes place after the sounding of the trumpet judgements, at the start of the millennium. Yes world peace is coming. It will be set up by our Messiah on His return to Jerusalem for a thousand years.

It's all in the Bible in the form of prophecy, and some are very detailed at that!

Bible prophecy:

BUT, can we trust Bible prophecy? Isn't it all open to interpretation?

Well, let me assure you that you can trust it with your life!

The pattern of fulfilled Bible prophecy speaks to its authenticity and trustworthiness. For example, every single prophecy in the Old Testament of the coming of the Messiah, was fulfilled exactly, literally and in detail. Bible prophecy predicted that He would be born of a virgin, born in Bethlehem, would be pierced, would be betrayed, would be raised from the dead and many more. Then, the prophecies of the New Testament were fulfilled in exactly the same manner. For example the rebirth of Israel, the restoration of the language of Hebrew, the restoration of Jerusalem to the Jews and many more.

So, if this was the pattern of fulfilment, the remaining unfulfilled prophecies will be fulfilled in exactly the same manner. It's also worth bearing in mind that not one failed!

In fact, you are gambling against immeasurable odds if you rejects God Word.

Yes friends, you can trust the Bible 100%

Wise words of old for today

●This is a collection of some very powerful quotes relating to many things. They are from old-school preachers dating back from the 1700s to the early 1900s. None are from today's preachers and teachers. As you well, know I am no fan of modern preachers with few exceptions. Many of these quotes are shocking in today's terms, but this is because 'today' has moved so far away from yesterday. If these were appropriate hundreds of years ago, they are much more so today!

You can be part of the great apostasy or the great awakening. Both are gathering momentum today. To be part of the prophesied great apostasy (falling away from the faith) you need do nothing...just drift along with the flow. To be part of the great awakening, you need to set your heart and soul after our great Messiah with determined purpose and everything in you.

We are entering a time period where many things will be shaken. Ignorance will be the breading ground of great deceptions. The wrath of God, the wrath of the devil and the wrath of man will all hit the world together. To be ready and to be able to stand securely, you need a lot more than simply to know the truth. You need to have it forged and fired into the very core of your existence. To be safe and right with God you need a soft and broken heart before Him and to know deep spiritual truth backwards!

I've selected a very small handful of quotes from A.W Tozer, Watchman Nee and Charles Finney. They're in no particular order. These are from many books, perhaps a few hundred in all, which I've meticulously and lovingly digested over the last 30 years. I cut my spiritual teeth on the material from these guys and consider them my spiritual fathers. With the addition of Derek Prince. Paul the apostle said that it's good to have many instructors but few fathers.

I have so many of these quotes that from time to time I'll present you with more in some future editions. I'll space them out a fair bit because this is a departure from prophetic subjects, but nonetheless of great importance today.

Watchman Nee 1903 - 1972: The Normal Christian Life. The Salvation of the Soul. He was thrown into prison in China for his beliefs where he spent most of his life. Of the 100s of Nee books only one was written by him. All the others were collections of his notes smuggled out of prison. Prison authorities tore his tongue from his mouth in an attempt to silence him. He was a man of incredible suffering.
