I have been in the journalism world since the early 1970s. I don't think there is a more important article I have ever written!  I don't claim to know all that there is on this subject, but I have studied it extensively since 1980.

My aim and objective with this article is to set your heart soaring with our Lord. It is to fearfully present you with the most wonderful truths and inspire you to move forward with our great King and Saviour. This article is by no means exhaustive and just touches on the major themes. Please take this further yourself.

Do not underestimate this article or take it lightly. Consider it all carefully and prayerfully.

The soon coming of our great King, Lord and Saviour

Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus the Messiah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, is coming soon. A lot sooner than you expect or believe!

The tragedy is that very few believers believe this. Most don't want to because it interferes with their own plans for a long happy family life. Interestingly there are over 10,000 verses of scripture dealing with the second coming of our Lord and surrounding events, two thirds more than on the first coming!

Many believers are totally ignorant of these things and others are simply deceived by hand-me-down deception from their heaped up false teachers.

Before we go any further, I need to refute some common deceptions and misconceptions around this subject.

"No one knows the time of the Lords coming" claim many deceived teachers. This is dangerous hogwash! There is a very big difference between "time" and the "day and hour" The Bible declares that "no one knows the day or hour of the Lords coming, not "time". "Day and hour" refers to a very pointed specific time, while "time" refers to a general season. That's just plain simple logic! As we will see even the term "day and hour" has a truly wonderful meaning in Jewish culture, not evident at face value.

In fact the Bible condemns those that say "no one knows the time" and commends and rewards in a most powerful way those that "look for His coming"!!!

Here are just a few of the many scriptures on this issue that paint a very clear picture.

2 Peter 3:3-4 "In the last days scoffers will arise saying "where is the promise of His coming?...all things will continue as they were"

2 Timothy 4:8 "There is laid up for me the crown of righteousness...but not only to me, but all who have loved His appearing".

Mathew 24: 32, 33 "Learn the parable of the fig tree, when its branch becomes tender and puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is very near even at the door". ('Know' is in the imperative tense, meaning it's a command. The verse should say "I command you to know")

Revelation 3:3 "...Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief and you will not know what hour I will come upon you"

Hebrews 10:25 "...exhorting one another, so much more as you see the Day approaching"

Hebrews 9:28 "...To those that eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time apart from sin for salvation".

1Jn 3:3 "Everyone who has this hope (coming of Lord) in himself purifies himself".

1Thesselonians 5:4 "But you brethren are not in darkness so as this Day should overtake you as a thief".

Do you see it? Scoffers are condemned, those who love His appearing are rewarded. The command of God is to know the time! If you won't "watch" you are in trouble. You need to have "this hope" in you to walk in full holiness. If it's impossible to know the time, as many teach, why then does our Messiah condemn Israel's false teachers for not knowing the time of their visitation? "You hypocrites, you know how to discern the face of the sky, but you can't discern the signs of the times" -Mathew 16:3

The importance of the Feasts of the Lord:

The Feasts of the Lord are extremely important. They are rich with symbolism, but also full of idioms and prophetic meaning. The graphic below represents the seven Feasts of the Lord with their prophetic symbolism and fulfilment applied. Note that the first four have already been fulfilled by our Lord and the last three have a future fulfilment. The next one is the Feat of Trumpets, signalling the start of the tribulation period and rapture.

If you do not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, that's just fine, we can walk together. I am persuaded of the pre-trib position, which I will share in another edition. It is most certainly not an issue for division. The greater issues of literal, verses allegorical interpretation will most certainly divided us.

Yeshua/Jesus, the apostles and the early church observed the Feats of the Lord! The modern church got its instructions not to from Rome / Babylon / Satan!

In the symbolic way of looking at this, the Feast of Trumpets signals the start of the tribulation period and the Day of atonement signals the end of the tribulation and the second coming. We know that this period is seven years long. This seven year period is made up of Jewish years, which are 360 days long. Now, we also know from Daniel 9 and 12 that this period will be 2550 days (1260+1290 days = seven years)

So, it is 2550 days from the Feast of Trumpets to Atonement.

It is also very important to note that our Lord declares in Mathew 24:32-34 that the generation that sees the birth of Israel as a nation (and other signs) will not pass away until all these things (tribulation) are fulfilled. Israel became a nation in 1948. So if the terminal generation starts at the birth of Israel and ends with the second coming, the question is simply, how long is a generation?

Psalm 90:10 says that the "days of our life are 70 years" We could say then that a Biblical generation is 70 years.

Now, if we simply add 70 years to 1948 we come to the year 2018. We need to come forward seven years for the tribulation, which brings us to 2011 for the start.

If this is correct then we could look to the Feast of Trumpets 2011 for the rapture / tribulation start.

Before I go one bit further I need to address date-setting. With these things there could be a small margin of error. So, please note my words carefully. I am saying "could be, should, possibly" etc. But don't throw the baby out with the bathwater! I would rather be looking for the Lord's coming and be wrong (and get rewarded for looking) than not look and be condemned!

The overall point of this article is not to prove beyond doubt any specific date. It is to look for the coming of the Lord in compliance with His will.

Lets now have a look at the 2550 days for the tribulation. The Feasts of the Lord work on a time scale set by the moon and not the solar-based calendar. The Feast of Trumpets is also called by five other names. One of these is the 'The Feast that no one knows that day or hour' The reason for this is that it starts at the sighting of the new moon. This has been the case throughout Jewish history. The new moon could have been out by a day or two hence "no one knows the day or hour" or the exact time. The Feast is also known as the "Feast of the last trump" because when the new moon was sighted, a rams horn is blown with different tones and time lengths between the blasts. The last trump blast is a long single tone and signals the start.

Now of course we know the familiar portion of scripture in 1 Corinthians 15:51 "Behold I tell you mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed- in a moment in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound and the dead will be raised, incorruptible and we shall be changed.

Now have a look at the table below (thanks to Laymanswatch.com) and note that 2011 and 2014 both have 2550 days between Trumpets and Atonement. The others are out by a day or two, due to the moon phases. So, could it be 2014 for the start of the tribulation? I think not simply because that then doesn't tie in with the 70-year generation.

Trumpets 2011 to Atonement 2018 (seven years) ties in perfectly with the 70-year generation prophecy. (Again 70 years added to Israel's birth year of 1948 comes to 2018) Trumpets 2011 could signal the rapture and tribulation start and Atonement 2018, the end of the tribulation and the second coming of our Lord.

There are far too many things dove-tailing together and pointing towards the 2011 to 2018 seven-year period for it all to be coincidence. Again there may well be a small margin of error, but again, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater!

Here are a few other startling indicators:

2018 would have been a jubilee year. The Jews stopped celebrating jubilees long ago. This is if we count as though they had not stopped. We know that a jubilee is a time of release, freedom, victory, rest for the land, restoration of land to original owners etc. So there is lots of typology here.

Six is the number of man under sin, seven, spiritual perfection and eight resurrection. Now if we apply Peter's 'day for a thousand years' principle and count up all the genealogies in the Bible, it give us 6000 years. So we could presume that the millennium will begin as we cross into the 7000 year mark. Based on the Jewish calendar corrected for previous mistakes (well documented) have a look at the diagram below:

Interesting isn't it! These things could be out by a little here or there, but the overall point is that time is short!

Non time-specific, but season-specific signs:

There are simply far too many to list here, but these are some of the biggies!

●The sign of homosexuality. The Bible declares that days of the coming of the Lord will be as in the days of Noah and as in the days of Lot. Those days were when homosexuality was rife. God destroyed the twin cities where this was prevalent. ●Another characteristic of those days was that people were carrying on life as normal with no regard for the warnings of impending judgement.

Other season-specific signs include ●the restoration of Israel as a nation in 1948 and the return of Jerusalem to the Jews in 1967. ●The great apostasy of the church and the salvation of the Jews at large is just starting to gather speed now. (See the previous two editions) ●Most of the worst occurs in the tribulation period, but a lot will occur in the period leading up to the tribulation.

Some general signs from various portions of scripture include: ●Disease, ●pestilence, ●famine, ●natures upheavals, ●roaring seas, ●believers betraying one another, ●signs in the heavens, ●increased deception, witchcraft, false doctrines, ●ethnic wars and on the positive side, ●the gospel being preached in all the nations of the world.

How things could unfold:

●The Wall Street Journal reported on August 26th that Palestinian Prime Minister Salem Fayyad is calling for a Palestinian state by the end of 2011 regardless of any negotiations. The plan reflects an unprecedented emphasis on self rule with East Jerusalem as its capital. The plan will also see the establishment of their own airport and a military force. Israel described the plan as "provocative"

●The International Atomic Energy Agency (IEA) reported a week ago that Syria is again attempting to construct a covert nuclear program with the help of North Korea. Isaiah17:1 declares that Damascus shall cease from being a city and lie a ruinous heap. Damascus is the oldest city in the world never to have been destroyed in its history. This prophecy will have a fulfilment in the near future.

The Feast of Trumpets will usher in the Tribulation which will begin with the stroke of a pen. The Bible declares that the event that reveals the antichrist and kicks off the seven year tribulation will be the signing of a peace pact between Israel and the person who will become the antichrist. For the signing of a peace pact there needs to be a climate of war, not so? Do we have this now?

One of two possible scenarios will soon unfold:

The first scenario could easily be created by Israel being pressurised into the signing of a peace-for-land deal with the Palestinians. Possible?...I think so! As we know from scripture (Joel 3) the dividing up of the land will invoke the wrath and fury of God. (Note the Wall Street Journal headline above and that date!) Israel could sell out for a pocketful of peace promises made with a pretender.

Joel 2:1 Blow the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in My holy mountain...tremble, for the Day of the Lord is at hand" Verse 15 "Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast...gather the people...Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber and the bride from her dressing room"

Possible scenario two is the yet unfulfilled prophetic wars with Israel and Syria (Isaiah 17) and the Ezekiel 38 and 39 war with Russia, China and other Muslim allies. The descriptions of these wars indicates that they will be nuclear. These conflicts are on the horizon and could also be the event that leads to the signing of the fateful peace treaty. The Bible doesn't date either of these wars but places them in the last days, so we are in the season!

1 Peter 4:7 "The end of all things is at hand, be serious, be watchful in your prayer..."

As we enter the twighlight of present world history and move towards a whole new world dispensation we need to be cautious. This time period will see an outpouring of the Spirit of God as well as an intensification of deadly deception.

There are many, many more amazing, wonderful indications of this incredible time period. I will share more with you in upcoming editions. Some include the importance of the symbolism within the measurements of the ark of Noah, the temple and the ark of the covenant. I will look at the spectacular subject of number in scripture and other things related to the soon coming of our King of Majesty

My friends, these events are all right on the door step and could easily unfold soon and quickly. I appeal to you...make sure you are ready. Be ready in heart and belief and do not be reckless with your life. These things are a lot more than possible, they are probable!

In the midst of all this incredible drama...the greatest drama of all time, our Lord will have a graceful army growing in stature, strength and wisdom, knowing Him intimately and ready to fulfil His plans and do His will.

 ●Iran chooses wanted terrorist as defence minister:

Israel hater Ahmadinejad of Iran has again disregarded international opinion and pressure by appointing an Interpol wanted terrorist as minister of defence.  He was responsible for the bombing of a Jewish community centre in Argentina. Ahmad Vahani's bomb killed 85 people. and injured 300. Iran has always denied their involvement. (Israel Today)

Iran has also just criticised some of it's neighbours for running policies which allow an involvement with the "Zionist state"

●The Palestinians true heart:

So-called moderate and Western-backed Fatah party recently told Al Arabia: "We do not recognise Israel's right to exists. All these reports about recognising Israel are false and media nonsense"

Rafik Natsheh of the Fatah Central Committee has revealed their true heart for all to see, while the world declares that Fatah is Israel's partner in peace!

Palestinian leader Abbas said on Palestinian TV: "We do not demand that Hamas recognise Israel". This simply adds more weight to the story!

Yet another top Palestinian leader, the Fatah strongman and adviser to Abbas, Mohammed Dahlan recently said that Fatah "only pays lip service to recognising Israel in order to obtain assistance form the international community..." (Israel Today)

●The blasphemous new emergent church:

The new "emergent church" is a group of liberal thinkers who became disillusioned with the church as it is. They formed this loose cross-theological movement which incorporates a mixture of many denominational groups as well as charismatic, neo-charismatic, liberal and post liberal churches. Its main emphasis is to decentralise leadership. It has a vast un-unified view on everything. Their aim is to put down and change the nature of Christian community. Love and tolerance of everything except those that believe in true doctrine is central.

This blasphemous set up defaces all that is holy. It is worldly, in fact satanic in the extreme. It throws out all absolutes and makes everything variable.

This group recently called for partnership with Islam. It is hateful of the a Jewish state and is a profound adherent of replacement theology.

They dethrone the importance of the scriptures and denounce doctrine.

You need to run away very fast from this terrible set up. Have nothing at all to do with them!

Be very careful of disillusionment. The devil goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour! If you get disillusioned with a church, be sure not to let that extend to our Lord and Saviour or His Word and Spirit.

●Choosing a church to join:

This article is a direct response or follow-on to the previous one titled "The Great apostasy of the church"

Choosing a church today is like walking through a mine field. Of course it shouldn't be so, but unfortunately this is the sad state of affairs.

When you join a church, to some degree, you come under the spirit of that church. You end believing what they believe and talking just like them. This would all be fine if the church was what it was supposed to be.

Before we can go any further, we need to have a brief look at the Biblical pattern for the church.

The Bible gives clear guidelines on these things in many areas. I will not go into any great detail here, but will just outline the larger principles.

Firstly there is only one church! There is no Biblical justification anywhere for many different churches all believing different things. Jesus is the head and has one body, not many. He doesn't have a Jewish body a Gentile body, a Catholic body, a Methodist body and so on.

Perhaps the most shocking portion of scripture dealing with this is 1Corinthians 1: 10. It's shocking because its so clear and so totally ignored by church leadership.

This section in the Bible is headed "Sectarianism is sin" How about that for a start! verse 10 "I plead with you brethren, by the name of our Lord, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you and that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and judgement"

I was recently shocked when I stopped at a four-way stop street in an area that I seldom go to. As I looked around I noticed that there were four different churches, one on each corner! What a tragedy!

The early church up to around 300AD was in perfect unity. There were not a whole lot of different churches. Yes there were many attempts by Satan to bring in division. We see many of these attacks in the book of Acts as well. Each attempt was refuted, condemned and eradicated by the church leaders of the day.

The church should be divided geographically only.

Satan tried hard to stamp out the church in its early unified stages, by launching a series of blistering, cruel persecutions against the church by ten successive Roman emperors. Many thousands were killed and yet the church grew stronger and greater.

Then came Satan's ace trump card...get the church divided and filled with worldly practises.

At around 300AD the emperor Constantine stopped the persecutions and made Christianity the state religion. To make it more palatable, he introduces some of his own Babylonia occult practises to the church.

Some of these included setting up the worship of the sun god and moon god by placing little silver (moon) and little gold (sun) balls on a tree and nailing it to the floor. Every single tradition of Christmas comes straight from Babylon idol worship. Including the day December 25. Some of these practises like are condemned in Jeremiah 10.

Other Babylonian practises introduced into the church by Constantine include the worship of the goddess of sex. This was done back then, by going through the Easter (Ishtar) gate into the temple of sex! Eggs, rabbits and other things were representative of sex-god worship and fertility.

The Ishtar Gate (origin of Easter) This is a reconstruction of the evil Babylonian gate, which led the way to many abominable practises.

In 600AD these things were further entrenched by what became known as the Catholic church.

Interestingly this was the start of the Dark Ages. It was called "dark" because it was spiritually dark. The Catholic church spearheaded this time of deep darkness and mass murder of the Jews and everyone that was not Catholic. This included the inquisitions, which were comparable to Nazi Germany.

Then came the time period known as the reformation, which signalled the start of the return to Biblical truth.

The reformation produced the renaissance and industrial revolution.

Its interesting that the move away from the truth produced the murderous dark ages and the return to the truth produced enlightenment! As goes the spiritual so goes the natural!

The reformation was a powerful move but was incomplete and still left the church divided and pretty messed up.

This brings us to our subject. How do we chose a church?

Obviously, the truth is the standard and this is what we need to look for. But it is the truth according to the Bible, led by the Spirit of God and not man-made, man-cantered so-called truth or church doctrine.

For the life of me I can't understand how anyone could go along so blindly and happily involved with churches that have institutionalised the many Babylonian occult practises. Saying that these practises are now Christian changes nothing. Amazingly most Jews know that these practises have evil origins and as a result, would not become part of any church practising them. We are not to put stumbling blocks in the way of Jews coming to salvation. (See the previous edition for more on this)

Paul says, "I have not shunned to declare to you the whole council of God".

Paul says that he "preaches nothing but Christ and Christ crucified".

Paul says that he must "decrease while Christ increases" as a result.

Jesus says that "you are not worthy of being His disciple unless you take up your cross daily and follow Him".

Jesus says that we are to "make disciples among the nations teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you".

These are some key pointers and should be part of any church

A church must have the cross and it's application into our lives as central. The cross kills us to all things of self, the world and the demonic!

You will see the marks of the cross on a church (and person) that applies it correctly. They will be dead to the world the flesh and the demonic and very very ALIVE to the true, pure things of God.

A church must have a "fully preached" declaration of the gospel. Not just the nice self- motivational sections. It must embrace the "hard sayings" and the "severity" of the gospel as well.

There are some key questions we need to ask church leadership that relate very much to this day and age if we are going to join their institution.

We need to ask: "Do you as leaders fast often"? If the answer is no, the church is a self-inspired and led church.

We need to ask: "What is your stand on the rights of homosexuals, the rights of a woman to murder her unborn child, the rights of the murderer to life instead of execution."

Most importantly we need to ask: "What is your attitude to the rights of the Palestinians to a state and city within Israel."

You see, many churches today support the supposed rights of the Palestinians to Jerusalem and parts of Israel, while saying at the same time that they have compassion for the Jews.

I'm not interested in a church that says it has an interest in the Jews and then denies God's word that all of Jerusalem and Israel belong to the Jews.

Mark my words...this issue will soon become the issue that will divide the church totally.

Some other areas of emphasis needed in a church:

The church needs to be balanced. This balance is to be from the perspective of the Bible and not man made tradition.

●The Bible has one third more on hell than heaven. The Bible speaks five times more about the second coming (and related events) than the first coming of our Messiah.

Today the church at large never speaks of hell or the second coming never mind in the proportions mentioned!

●An interesting fact is that in the original languages of the Bible the words rabbi and paster both have a male gender attachment to them. Its like the terms Mr. and Mrs. They have a gender association as well.

Church leadership is male. Now, some are thinking, "I can't believe he said that"! Well, deal with it, it' the biblical truth!

●A church needs to have an Abrahamic, Hebraic expression to it. It needs to break from its identity with Rome and Babylon.

The diagram below speaks for itself:

Today God is doing many wonderful things and the devil is doing many terrible things. We need to know which is which! That seems obvious but unfortunately much of the church is today doing the work of the devil and coming against the work of God!

All that remains of the church of Laodecia today is ruins. It's future as revealed in Revelation 3 is no different!

Gods work will be truly and very deeply blessed, bringing a deep peace into the hearts of its adherents.

To find a church that fits the above bill should be very easy, but its not, simply because there are so few. If you are faced with this dilemma, what you need to do is do the best you can in the circumstances, but set your heart after our Lord, in spirit and truth. Protect your spirit in prayer against error and deception and move forward, forward, onward with our Lord. He will see to it that you are filled with His grace and you will grow well, even in the desert!

If you are in a church that does not fit the above very basic foundational criteria, you need to set your spirit and heart after God and not the church. This way you can still be in fellowship, but you will be protected from becoming an average church mouse. In fact you will soon get to a place where you will soar way above your church.

You do need to be involved in some way with other believers. Independence will get you shipwrecked. If you are not in a church, you should at least be in fellowship in some way with a group or even just a few believers.

I would strongly advise that you as an individual get involved with some para-church organisation that is involved with Israel and the Jews.

●The best of the bunch is without doubt Christians United for Israel. This organisation run by the inimitable John Hagee has the Israel premier Benjamin Netanyahu on the board. its aim is to present a worldwide united Christian perspective or front in relation to Israel.

Amazingly, in a short period of time, it has become the largest Christian organisation in the US with a presence in 90 cities. It has now successfully run 80 celebratory Nights to Honour Israel.

It's powerful and growing at an alarming rate. It now has over 5 million members. I am one of them!

World Watch:

● American Christians are falling away from the truth at an incredible rate. The article below in non-Christian Newsweek is horrifying indeed. Amazingly this warning is not being preached in any churches today and yet they are the subject. Most are asleep! But this is not only the case in the US it's worldwide

"The historic foundation of America's religious culture is cracking" says Newsweek. Two thirds of American Christians now believe that the US is no longer a Christian nation. The same number now believes that Christians are losing their influence in society.

58% of American Christians now believe that there are many ways to God and all other religions are equally valid.

Obama has made various hints that he is not a Muslim and is a Christian. His recent visit to the Pope is one of these. But what does he believe? The Chicago Sun reports that Obama is a Christian, but  then adds "I believe that there are many paths to the higher power"

Stephen Strang of Charisma magazine wrote after meeting with Obama last month "He is a universalist for sure" "He believes that everyone will be saved"

This is the view of Oprah and sharply increasing numbers of Christians. Here is what Oprah believes as reported in many media (Interview on You Tube) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW4LLwkgmqA and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecRnSTtOwcw

"No belief is required". "The man on the cross is an archetypal image, he is every man and every woman, there are many paths and many ways to God."

Churches in Britain are falling away from the truth at an alarming rate declares many publications. Old Anglican church buildings are increasingly being sold or rented out for rave party venues, bottle stores and the like. This is according to their own in house publication.

I have just researched the subject of the decline of Christianity and read many publications dealing with the same thing all around the world. I must say that I feel quite sick just reading it. Some of it is so bad I will not even write the words!

The truth will set you free declares the Bible. I wish to declare that seeking, finding and being in the truth is deeply satisfying, restful, fulfilling and brings oceans of peace and ends all stress.

Obama and Oprah are leaders of the great apostasy!

Oprah is a monumental deceiver. There are dozens of portions of scripture making it very clear that Jesus is the only way and only path to salvation. The one enormous bottom line is that if there are any other ways, then the cross of Christ was irrelevant and meaningless as was His shed blood.

Oprah and Obama have the same religion...born in hell and destined for hell. Don't be deceived by the idea that being good without being born again of the Spirit of God can get you to heaven. That's pure humanism. The great tragedy is that the great apostasy of the church is starting to gather momentum right now.

Imagine the shocking catastrophe of stepping into eternity and then finding out that the Bible is true and it was right before your eyes in life and you rejected it!

It's vitally important to know where we are on the prophetic map.

Two of the great prophetic events to occur just before the coming of the Lord are the subject of this edition. One is the great apostasy of the church and the other the coming salvation of the Jews en masse.

There are many portions of prophetic scripture painting a horrific and tragic near future for much of the church. If you have any interest or concern for your eternal future please take these deadly serious warnings to heart now.

The Christian culture of the US is now post-Christian. As goes the spiritual so goes the natural. Is it any wonder that many American Christians now believe that they have lost the battle over many issues like abortion, same sex marriage etc.

Many churches are growing in numbers around the world, but at the same time many of these are growing in dangerous deception. They have moved so far away from the truth that they would not even recognise it!

The Bible paints the picture of the condition of the world and the church just before the coming of the Lord very clearly indeed. Let's have a look at a few of these dire warnings.

Perhaps the most important verse of scripture relating to current time period is found in Isaiah 59:14 which declares "Truth is cast down in the streets...so truth fails"

When we become weak spiritually and cast down truth, we open the door for all sorts of satanic advances. Is it any wonder that the great apostasy of the church and within the church is directly associated with the revealing of the antichrist and start of the tribulation period!

Here are some shocking truths...ignore them at your peril!

2Thes 2:3 "Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away (apostasy) comes first and the man of sin be revealed the son of perdition."

1Tim 4:1 "The Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons" Verse 3 goes on "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine and with itching ears they will heap up for themselves teachers and turn from the truth."

2Thes 2:10 "Because they did not receive the love of the truth, God sent them strong delusion so that they would believe the lie!"

Matt 24:12 "The love of many will grow cold" (This is one of our Lord's warnings relating to the time period of His second coming)

Romans 11 Warns that God will "cut off" the gentile church if they come against His plan to re-graft the Jews back into salvation

The Revelation of Jesus Christ paints a picture of the church from its foundation to its end. The letters to the seven churches are very revealing indeed. Of the seven there are two that relate to this article. The church of Philadelphia is the church that goes from strength to strength. It is the church that "kept My word" On the other hand the church of Laodicea is the church that our Lord says he will "spit out of His mouth". This is the lukewarm church! And it is lukewarm to TRUTH that is the problem!

There are many other portions of scripture dealing with the same issue. What is important to note is that in the time period just before the coming of our Lord a large part of the church will "fall away" be in "apostasy", will "grow cold", will become "lukewarm" and "spat out" and will be "deceived" by numerous false teachers. Some will "depart from the faith" and many will be "deluded" and those that adhere to replacement theology will be "cut off"

There are two verses above that are so very important: The truth cast down or receive the love of the truth! Both have monumental consequences! TRUTH is the main thing, it must not be rejected, interfered with and become relative. Truth must be interpreted to your heart and mind by the author, the Holy Spirit and not the letter of the word.

The tragedy of our time is that there is a great apostasy just getting started now of the church and within the church, from the truth.

Let me make it very clear. God will not allow all of the church to fall away. There has always been and always will be a remnant of believers who will believe Gods word and stay true to Him. These will grow in glory, love, peace and joy as The Day approaches.

There is one all-important way to know the truth. Obviously study is involved, but it's the application of the cross that does it. As I die to self, so Christ lives and Christ has got it all! Less of me and more of Him is the way to absolute safety and security.

Much of the church has and is standing in the way of God's glorious new work in bringing the Jews to salvation. Lets bear in mind that the order as revealed in the Bible is "to the Jew first and then the Gentiles"

It is God Himself who is doing this new work. Church be warned...don't come against what God is doing. If He is stripping out the occult traditions like Christmas, Easter and the like, which all come straight from Babylonian occult worship...then I say "glory to God" We all like to say that God will come for a purified church, but many don't want to forsake their traditions!

The coming salvation of the Jews:

The above diagram displays the portion of scripture in Romans 11 in graphic form. The story is this. The natural olive branches (the Jews) were cut off because of unbelief in the Messiah. God grafted into the tree wild olive branches (the Gentiles). BUT then it goes on to say that God will re-graft the natural branches (the Jews) back into their own tree and will cut off many wild branches (Gentiles) as they reject what God is doing.

Gentile church, can you see the danger you are in if you accept replacement theology or come against this great, final work of God? You may say, "well I'm not coming against it" Then why are you doing nothing for it. Why do you continue to play your nice pointless little Christian games, when God is moving fast in the direction that you have no part in?

Let me remind you that Jesus says, "If you're not for Me you're against me" There's no neutrality!

We are now just starting to enter into the very exciting time of the re-grafting of the Jews back into their olive tree. We are starting to see Jews come to salvation around the world in ever growing numbers. It's just the start of a wave that can't be stopped.

This does NOT mean that the Jews are joining churches and becoming Christianised. The Messianic movement at large has its own identity, which keeps the Jewishness of the gospel. This is producing a wonderful new (old actually) expression of faith. It's just like the early church was in the first 300 years or so, before it took on the influences of Babylon and Rome.

Here are some amazing, little know portions of scripture relating to this incredible and exciting time we are going into now as Jews begin to recognise their Messiah.

Romans 11: 25, 26 "Don't be ignorant of this mystery...that hardening in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved"

Jeremiah 30:17, 22 "This is Zion...and you shall be my people and I will be your God" (Context of end times)

Ezekiel 11:16-19 "Although I have cast them far off among the Gentiles...I will gather you from the peoples...and I will give you the land of Israel. Then I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them and take away the stony heart..."

Jeremiah 31:31,34 "Behold the days are coming says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah" "For I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more." (This is in the context and time period just before the coming of the Lord)

Ezekiel 20: 41,42 "I will accept you as a sweet aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will be hallowed in you before the Gentiles. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I bring you into the land of Israel"

Ezekiel 36: 24-27 " I will take you from among the nations...and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you and you shall be clean...I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you" (End time context)

Ezekiel 37:12-14 I will bring you into the land of Israel, then you shall know that I am the Lord...I will put My Spirit in you and you shall live and I shall place you in your own land" (This is the "dry bones" end time prophecy)

Zechariah 12:19 "I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of Grace and supplication, then they will look on Me whom they have pierced. They will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. 13:6 "and someone will say to him , 'What are these wounds in your hands?' Then he will answer, 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends" verse 9 says  "I will say, 'This is My people and each one will say, 'The Lord is my God'"

Zechariah 8:13 "It shall come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you and you shall be a blessing" (All in the context of the soon coming coming of the Lord)

Zechariah 8:23 "In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you" (Context is the time period just before the coming of the Lord.)

Hosea1:10 "It shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them (children of Israel) 'You are not My people' It shall be said 'You are the sons of the living God'"

Isaiah 60:14, 15 "The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bowing to you (Germany too) and all those that despised you shall fall prostrate at your feet and they shall call you The City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel"...I will make you an eternal excellence"

There is a strong consistency throughout the scriptures on this subject. You need to be either deceived or uninformed not to see it all. Try reading just the minor prophets right through...you can't miss it!

Summary:

The above verses of scripture are just a handful of many more dealing with the new great work of God in bringing salvation to the Jews. We are at the start of a paradigm shift for the church as well. It needs to get with what God is doing or run into big trouble. Much needs to change drastically within the church. A fast growing number are starting to run with our God, but alas many would rather remain in their comfortable traditions of deception and ignorance.

The close of the present age will be marked by a great falling away of much of the church. Simultaneously part of the church will become purified and grow in glory while a large part will be spat out and rejected by God. At the same time a great re-gathering in salvation of the Jews at large will occur.

Sadly much of the church will become the enemy of Israel, the Jews and the work of God! In fact its already happening on a large scale.

What amazing drama this is. Shakespeare would never have been able to even think of such drama! It really is exciting times. Dangerous times and glorious times. Be sure you are on God's side. A number of portions of scripture declare that this issue invokes the fury of God and will bring terrible judgement on those who stand in His way.

These are vitally important issues, please don't be complacent with them.

Syria arising:

Syria is playing with fire! Isaiah 17 declares in a prophecy yet to be fulfilled that Damascus, the capital of Syria will "cease from being a city and will lie a ruinous heap..." This nation has a prophetic destiny soon to hit the headlines. Damascus is not a good place to buy property!

Syrian leader Assad has just rejected attempts to resume peace talks with Israel. The Syrian leader has said that they will take back the Golan Heights by force from Israel, now that peace talks are no more.

Syria has been off the radar screen of late, but is now awaking to a shattering, future. Damascus has never been destroyed before. The context of this prophecy relates to end time events. I'm not saying that this is it, but it's not far off. Syria is already part of the Arab alliance, now ring fencing Israel with greater audacity. the Bible declares that it's days are numbered. Keep an eye on this dark horse in the near future!

Syria is part of the ancient land of Persia, which was present day Iran, Syria and a few other smaller parts of neighbouring nations. Persia is described in various Biblical prophecies relating to an attack on Israel in the latter days. The giant war of Ezekiel 38 and 39 is one of them. After incredible destruction and with God's help Israel emerges victorious, but heavily damaged.

This is most probably the time period in which God lifts the veil of spiritual blindness on the Jews at large. This is already starting to happen now.

Isn't it interesting that now is the time Obama decides to normalise relations with Syria and set up diplomatic ties, by first of all deploying an ambassador to Damascus!

What to me is so interesting is that world alignments are shifting and falling into place like a giant jigsaw puzzle, painting a clear picture, already outlined in Bible prophecy, written thousands of years ago! Amazing indeed, oh and did I mention exciting as well!

G8 quartet in new settlement freeze demand:

Never in the history of the world has a nation built another nation within its borders, and from the destruction of the Temple 2000 years ago, no nation has ever claimed Israel or part of it as its own. The notion that Israel belongs to the Palestinians is a giant disastrous mistake based on deception, lies and ignorance.

The fresh demands from the major nations of the world that Israel cease building so-called settlements (even natural growth) and evict those in so-called settlements since 2001 is a travesty of international law and justice, but much worse than that is that it places the world on an ever-increasing slippery slope to the fury and judgement of God.

This G8 meeting was held in Rome, and will be followed up with another one in which the Arab-League nations will join in. Israel has not been invited although the purpose is to discuss Israel's settlements!!

No worldly leader has the right or authority to declare and determine the boundaries of Jerusalem or Israel. This flies in the face of God's eternal covenants, but it also confirms that Bible prophecy is unfolding fast before our eyes.

The incredible thing about all of this is that precious-few churches are even aware of the situation. Most that are aware are in fact supporting the forces of darkness...what a tragedy! The amazing thing is while most churches continue in blindness and deception, preaching self- promotion and self-motivational rubbish, the Glory of God is working in the hearts of those who are open to Him. They see and understand clearly the urgency of the time.

The problem is that the world-view of most churches is one of growing prosperity, happiness, and success in and of the world. With this being the case obviously the unfolding of prophecy upsets their apple-carts! It throws a huge spanner in the works of a world of peace and happiness.

Tony Blair has just declared..."Peace in the Middle East is now within reach, if Israel compromises"! Oh yes, Tony, do you think God is going to compromise on His covenants and plans, just for you? Listen, Tony, even if you do get Israel to surrender to the devil, you have no chance of even getting to chat with God on the issue. You Tony, together with your other bunch of merry men don't even know that you are messing with the "apple of God's eye" You are on the wrong side of His choice and as a result have a terrible destiny ahead of you.

The problem is that you, Tony and your merry bunch of marauding butchers will either lead or force Israel to slaughter. Eventually, the world at large and most of the church will  betray Israel and only God and His servants with a heart for His plans will stand with Israel as they face a second Holocaust.

Tony, let me appeal to you...if you want to be the world's Middle East envoy, you should try finding out at least the basics of Gods plans for the close of age. After all He has the keys for your eternal destiny as well.

Israel beware, Tony Blair is your enemy, a dangerous enemy who comes in the name of peace.

In relation to the current time period, Isaiah 59:14 "Truth has fallen in the street"

Here are some of Israel's new modern enemies: Obama, Clinton, Sarkozi, Merkel, Carter. They are playing with fire!!

Joel 3:2,4 "I will enter into judgement with all nations on account of My people and My heritage Israel whom they have scattered among the nations, they have also divided up My land...Will you retaliate against Me, swiftly and speedily I will return your retaliation upon your own heads. Vs 9 "Prepare for war...beat your ploughshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Assemble and gather all you nations...multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision for the Day of the Lord is near"

Zechariah 12:3 "...All the nations of the world are gathered against Jerusalem"

Zechariah3:2 "The Lord said to Satan, The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you"

Zechariah 8:2,3 "I am zealous for Zion with great zeal (lit. fury), with great fury I am zealous for her. I will return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth"

The kings of the world:

The King is alive and coming soon. Oh yes He is! The world system has it's kings too. King Elvis died broke in a drugged out state of drunkenness. The actual cause of his death was drowning in his vomit. Now comes the death of the king of pop. He died broke, in debt and with a squandered, wrecked life lived for self. We don't know all the details yet, but early reports say that he had three drug injections a day, plus a whole lot of daily drugs, and drink, which most probably killed him.

These are the world's kings and the world worships them as gods!

Thank God for our eternal, soon coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords! He died too, an innocent man, who gave His life for the salvation of whosoever would believe in Him. Our King rose from the dead to Glory, while the world's kings live forever in hell!

Speaking of the Great White Throne Judgement, which is the final judgement of all the unsaved, The book of Revelation says, Rev 20:11, 15: "I saw the dead both great and small standing before God... and anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire".

Worldly greatness saves nobody. If it could, the cross of Calvary would have been meaningless!

The world will end soon / will never end!

No, I'm not confused. I thought that this presented a good opportunity to briefly discuss this somewhat controversial subject. Some people quote verses of scripture implying that the world will never end, while others, like myself say it will end very soon.

Both are right to a degree. We need to look at the original words used in the scriptures to get clarity.

The Greek word in the Bible for world is the word 'kosmos' while the Greek word for earth is the word 'ge'. Simply, 'ge' is derived from soil and applies to the physical earth, the mountains, rivers, sea etc. The word 'kosmos' means the adorning of the earth with its socio-political world. It refers to the man-made aspects of life upon the earth. It has it's kings and it's god. Satan is called the god of the world and the world-power.

Our Lord will renovate the world at His soon coming and prepare it for the millennial age.

So, the world (more correctly, the earth) will never end, while the world that now is, will come to a bitter end soon. It's all about defining your terms!

Satan is called the world-power or 'kosmokratos' in Greek. 'Kosmos' is the word for world, while 'kratos' is the word for power.

There is another amazing descriptive word from the Greek. It is the word "Hupokrites." Yes the word hypocrite is derived from it, but it's origin is very interesting. Hupokrite is a theatrical word. In ancient Greek theatre the hupokrite would come onto the stage to introduce the next act. If a comedy, he would wear the smiley mask. If the next act was a tragedy he would wear the frown mask. We still have these two masks today representing theatre.

The point is that the word hupokrite means the one behind the mask is not the same as the mask he portrays.

Now isn't that very interesting indeed. Satan comes as an angel of light, with many masks. both good and bad but he is the deceiver behind the world. The world-power (kosmokratos) is none other than the great two-faced deceiver. (hupokrite)

Summary:

If you look back at previous editions you will see that so many of the pieces of the prophetic jigsaw puzzle are falling into place before our eyes. This edition simply makes the picture a little clearer. Of course, I am presuming that you have at least a basic understanding of prophecy in the first place. If you are new to our Lord's Kingdom, I encourage you to study God's Word with urgency.

If you are a long-standing believer who has neglected these things, I encourage you to repent and get your priorities sorted out and study God's Word now.

Job says "I consider Your Word more than my necessary food."
